Adele met us with the keys when we arrived and showed us around.

It is a beautiful property with a fantastic view. If it weren't for the lack of a car and the smelly shower (which, they said was a building issue) I would give it an excellent rating.

YOU NEED TO HAVE A CAR!!! If you have never been to the area you wouldn't know that you can't get to town without walking down the main, winding, highway that has no sidewalks. Even though it is high up on the hill we wouldn't have minded the walk except for having to walk on the highway. The place could have been cleaner; the master shower smelled and there were lots of spiders.

An absolutely incredible place, that was unfortunately spoiled because of no water.

View, space and design of house

We didn’t have water on the second day for the entire morning. And then we didn’t have water for the whole third day and the morning we checked out. For the price, this should never happen.

Fantastic view and layout. Service from the Adele was also excellent.

Second bedroom had substandard beds for adults. We slept on the couch. If you have young children the 2nd bedroom may be okay.

Stunning views, stunning flat

We very much enjoyed staying in the luxurious, well-equipped penthouse flat. Furnished with two bathrooms and two bedrooms, it has a well-stocked, open-plan kitchen and a spacious living/dining area overlooking the lake. The light, airy rooms are tastefully decorated with modern furniture and art and comfortable to share even with four adults. The stunning views of Lake Como are the icing on the cake. You can take in the vista from the outside terrace on three different levels. If you prefer a pool to the lake, there is an outside one belonging to the property. For travelers who arrive by car there is even a garage! Should anything go wrong, Adele, the lovely caretakes is at hand to help. We loved it and are already planning our next stay.

Amazing apartment & Amazing view!!

The view from David’s apartment is unbeatable, truly breathtaking. the place was incredibly clean and well stocked with everything we could need during our stay. we certainly hope to be back sooner than later. This is a must book location situated overlooking the town of Menaggio and Lake Como.

consultation was excellent with the property manager throughout. Facilities and utilities were excellent throughout. Bedding was comfortable and for a family of 3 there was plenty of space

No toilet roll holders … slightly odd for a place in this price range

Host could not be more helpful. Location was perfect & the apartment itself was nearly faultless. You would struggle not to enjoy a stay here.

It’s all about the view

Breathtaking view. Quiet Well appointed apartment

takes 4 keys to get in inconvenient to go to town overall the property is aging. lights in the garage & stairwells didn’t work. mold forming in the shower.

Relaxing, beautifully-designed and comfortable space to call home.

The Sant'Andrea Penthouse is a truly unique luxury home. Designed by local landscape artist and renowned modern architect Arturo Montanelli, Residence Sant'Andrea is reflective of nature and literally seems to merge into the mountain. Everything about this fabulous penthouse was first class: the modern design, the perfect layout, the spectacular view from the deck and garden, and the incredible pool. We could leave the touristy centres of Menaggio and Bellagio behind for utmost peace whilst being able to drive to other Como towns easily. Gemma's colleague, Lorenzo, was so gracious and helpful. He showed us around, and explained how everything works, including the electric window shutters which keep the light out for a good night's sleep. WiFi was strong, Netflix easy to access, and the washer and dryer a big plus. I was grateful that olive oil, salt/pepper and spices were provided, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need to cook for a family. We ate on the deck on several evenings and kept the French doors open for most of the day, bringing the outside in. Each night we slept on the most comfortable beds, and there are two showers and two fantastic bathrooms. We found ourselves staying at the house instead of going out, and we cannot wait to return. Thank you Gemma, Lorenzo, and owner David.

Other reviews have mentioned a broken elevator, and I can see how that would be a major issue as we relied on it heavily. Luckily, everything was in working order so we did not need to use the stairs. The apartment is on Level 3 of the complex, entrance to building at Level 0 and pool at Level -1.
