Wonderful and relaxing stay in a beautiful location.

The resort is beautiful and the employees are all extremely friendly and polite. The beach is fabulous and we enjoyed having two pools to choose from.

There are a lot of stairs, which made it a little difficult for us with a stroller and young children.

Paid ALOT for a mediocre experience. The massage was excellent. Everything else was disappointing.

It was very modern and clean.

Tge beach access was not great.

Great experience - really enjoyed our stay!!

Great service - rooms are very large and all face the water, which is great! Food at the restaurants is very good.

We wish they would have let us sail the sailboats by ourselves. They would only take us out with one of the water sports guys.

Service most times was decent, butlers were attentive. But over maintenance on certain aspects of hotel could be better

Air conditioning wasn’t working in restaurants or main parts of hotels. Rooms were fine. Food quality was average not exceptional. Food served as Jamaican not authentic. Jerk chicken was BBQ chicken with jerk sauce. Steak restaurant steaks had to much salt. Drinks were not consistently made. Sometimes they were not drinkable

Las vistas frente al Atlántico son impresionantes, las habitaciones cómodas.

La gente no habla español, la calidad de la diversión no es muy buena. El restaurante weaves era muy bueno. Al hotel le hace falta una remodelación. En una noche, la gente se quedó atrapada en el ascensor y no llegaba el rescate. Tuve que llamar por teléfono y bajar 10 pisos para alertar a la guardia.

I did a lot of research and checking reviews and they did not disappoint. I loved it here.

Nice and clean, staff was nice. It was a lady at the steakhouse that made my group uncomfortable but other than that it was a beautiful experience. Front desk staff was extremely helpful. The bellhops were too, we didn’t have to lift a bag the whole stay. I can’t wait to go again.

It’s a lot of steps lol. It’s really nothing not to like

I loved the whole experience.

the only thing that bothered me was there was no maps or layout for the locations of the property so it was difficult finding different locations.

Had a wonderful time. Very relaxing. Classy resort.

I picked this property because it had bigger rooms including 1,2&3 bedroom rooms. Loved our 1 bedroom accommodations. The resort did not feel over crowded even though it was fully booked. it was easy to get in to the restaurants and easy to get drinks and snacks. staff was great. The breakfast buffet was great. It was easy to schedule excursions.

No self serve coffee in the rooms. Needed better communication of evening events. Dinners could have been a little better.

I would absolutely stay at this resort again when I have my children with me. We felt safe, the staff was accommodating,

We loved the food options , the views and the variety of amenities.

we didn’t like the reservation process for the hibachi restaurant. This is the only restaurant that requires a reservation. The entertainment was a bit cheesy. while I do understand that this is a family resort there could be more for activities/entertainment for the adults.

Perfect place to relax and rejuvenate.

The food and activities and entertainment were wonderfully presented. Every employee was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable making the visit top notch.

Elevator #9 in building A made us nervous. It was slow and highly non-responsive. The doors struggled to close and no maintenance inspection certification was posted in or near the elevator.

The food The food The food. There were plenty of options, and I had different meals each day and night. The staff are friendly I met so many facilities that became friends. I definitely would recommend it.

The wifi was spotty, there were times where my device would not connect and it was better to use my regular data even being in a foreign country. One of my sofas was dirty, and I did not like that. Other than that it was great.

The restaurant staff was awesome. They took the time to know my name.

Your checking out process is terrible. Why can't we check out in the building we are staying. Going back to the main building is a waste of time. You have several properties managed by Playa and we weren't allowed to visit without cost. It would've been great to see other properties for future trips.

Incredible resort with lots of activities.

The one bedroom was large with 2 restrooms. Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful.

Beach was beautiful, but a little too much seaweed.

Exceeded my expectations

The location is amazing! Yes, there is some seaweed but the staff cleans the beach through out the day. The staff is absolutely the best any where we have traveled!

Bars close a little earlier than I would like but it does give the resort some quiet time each day.

I didn’t like it . Would not recommend if you’re celebrating something special

I liked the view from my room and that was it.

The food was trash, the hotel itself is trash.. I paid for a premium room and I was checked in something completely different . I had to be on the phone with guests services crying ( it was my birthday) before having it resolved. The staff were just nonchalant and once they realized we’re locals they dropped their professionalism. There was no active daytime entertainment (they had a paper noting of activities) but really there was nothing going on. In the evening was so boring . The fruits at breakfast tasted sour as if they were going bad.I am just sooo unhappy I choose jewel grande to celebrate my birthday. Never Again!
