It was great to order a private transfer from and back to the airport at a reasonable price of 35e (comparing to taxi prices in Split, 16e for a 10min ride). Girl we met on arrival showed us the apartment and answered questions about local buses. We never met the manager but Tonkica was quickly replying to my messages.
Apartment is in a great location - on the edge of the old town, 2 mins from the bus stop (no.1 to Salona, 22 to Klis), 10 min from the Promet but stop (bus to Trogir), few shops around to get groceries and fresh bread. Flat is very well equipped and spacious, aircon in both rooms. Windows overlook noisy street but when closed hardly anything can be heard.
Apartment is a bit dark. There were 3 of us and for someone sleeping in the sitting room there is hardly any storage space for clothes - we used the shelves under TV but nowhere to hang anything. Leaflet mentioned cleaning the apartment after 3 days but I didn't know that had to be requested, so we managed without it for a week, no big deal.
In Split you can be either close to old town or close to beach - we went swimming to 3 nearest beaches on the south, north and east side of the center, all were within 25 min walk so not bad at all.
