The location of the accommodation is perfect because everything you need is accessible on foot: the sandy beach, many restaurants, cafes, a pharmacy, drugstores, shops, supermarkets, bars, a taxi rank, a medical center and a bus stop . Take a walk along the Paseo Marítimo and sit down for coffee or homemade ice cream; Visit the port where you will find different types of boats. Boats leave from the port for the lighthouse of Formentor or Formentor beach. If you like sports, you can rent bicycles, windsurf or dive. In Can Picafort every Friday there is a market. By car or bus you can easily go to many other beaches: Playa de Muro, Playa de Formentor, Son Serra de Marina, Puerto de Alcúdia or Puerto de Pollença. The old town of Alcúdia, with its cobbled streets, is worth a visit. Go to the squares, the church and the walls that surround the town. Inside, a lot of bars and good restaurants are a good place to stop for a while. Tuesdays and Saturdays are market days in Alcúdia, which becomes a bustling and lively place. Do not forget to visit the Roman ruins of Pollentia. Go to the town of Muro where you can enjoy the only bullring built of seas, a fantastic Church and a Museum where you can see what life was like in Mallorca in the 18th century.
