Lovely house close to the sea, well-equipped kitchen, friendly hosts, and easy access to Gothenburg and the archipelago. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time at the little house close to the ocean. Swimming in the evenings was lovely and visiting the islands was easy. The walk to the bus stop was not too far as well and we did walk to and from the supermarket in the shopping area nearby a few times. The city is just a short bus ride away as well. The day before we left it was very nice and open to stay in for a day to relax if needed. There are lots of windows for natural light and the washer/dryer was super helpful to have with the length of our stay. I would highly recommend this VRBO to my friends and family.

Overall the cottage is pretty and comfortable. It's roomier than we would have guessed, bed and pillows were comfortable, it was very clean and stayed cool on hot days. It felt private and peaceful, though I suspect it would have felt less so if the owners had been home...the trampoline is right next to the little cottage garden.
We rent houses often and this was the first time we were expected to put our own bedding on at arrival. That was a bit daunting after long day driving when we wanted to relax in the surroundings. More so because the bed is mattresses on the floor in a small loft with no guard rail whatsoever on one entire side. So be prepared for that.
There is also no freezer space whatsoever in the little fridge...not even a little one for an ice cube tray. We just bought a bag of ice at Msci each day and put it on the lower drawer.. ice cream was not an option.
Everything else was lovely. The location is good. I would not recommend trying to walk to the bus stop, but there's a park and ride lot there. From there you can easily connect into the city or to the foot passenger ferries.

This converted garage provides a nice starting point to explore the Gothenburg surroundings.
Bear in mind the bedroom is not as easily accessible and comfortable (headroom!) for everybody.

Relaxter Urlaub in schöner Lage

Super gastfreundliche Vermieter. Top Service. Sehr empfehlenswert, wir kommen gerne wieder.Everything was nice. Thank you so much Ola und Linda. Katja, Anton und Reiner

Great spot
This property turned out to be one of our favorites. We rented bikes, visited many islands, and ate some memorable meals. Linda was incredibly helpful when we had a small medical emergency. We felt very comfortable and would happily return.

Mir fällt nichts ein, was verbesserungswürdig wäre.

Great property near the sea!
We certainly did enjoy our hosts and their guest house near the northern archipelagos of Gothenberg. The cottage was well equipped and quite cozy. We watched deer in the back yard. The proximity to the ferry connecting to the islands was perfect. We enjoyed the days roaming the islands taking advantage of our host’s expert advice. Thank you Ola for leading us to one of the best restaurants and sunsets we have seen.

Lovely little cottage by the sea
My husband and I brought our too small children to this beautiful sea side cottage and found everything that we needed after an exhausting trip from the United States. While the Swedish weather doesn’t always cooperate, the owners were tremendously gracious and helpful, even loaning us a stroller after the airline lost ours. The close proximity to the northern archipelago and its islands is ideal for exploring that part of the coast, and there is a lovely little beach within a very short walking distance that we would have loved to use more, had It not been raining during our stay. The owners have spent some time compiling a very helpful visitors guide, which was great for people like ourselves who are unfamiliar with the area. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, and the bed upstairs was very comfortable. A great place for a small family or couple!

Cute apartment
This is a nice little apartment close to the water. We were here in late November, would also like to be here in warm months to enjoy the coast! It was clean and had all one needs to be comfortable!

Everything perfect
We were in late May in the small house, it was beautiful, the owners are very kind and helpful. The house is very clean. Many thanks for everything

We really enjoyed our stay in this guest house. Very near to the sea, lovely islands nearby and Gothenborg is waiting with a lot of Cafés and nice shopping areas.
The guest house is very nice and clean and well furnished. We can really recommend it for couples. In the kitchen you find every you need for cooking and cleaning. And if something would be missing, two big supermarkets are just some minutes away. And a lovely bakery - thank you Ola for this recommendation. We bought there the best kanel bullar ever!!!

We really loved this little house, which is just as nice as the pictures look! Everything was neat and tidy and very gemütlich . The kitchen was well furnished, the only thing missing was a pair of scissors. We appreciated the fact that cleaning materials were there, so we didn't have to buy anything in Sweden. There are two very large supermarkets nearby, which have a great selection. Public transport to Gothenburg is good, once you figure out how it works. It is easiest to buy tickets at the kiosk at bus station, quite hidden behind Willy's supermarket.
The sea really is at the end of the road. It was beautiful and lovely to swim in, although quite chilly! We renjoyed taking the ferries to the different islands and exploring them.
We only had one problem, and that was washing clothes. Since we were on a three week trip, we had to do some laundry. The house doesn't have a washing machine and there are no launderettes available. The only solution is to ask the owners, who are very nice, but it is a bit of a hassle for all concerned .

Great accommodation in a lovely area.
My partner and I stayed here for 1 week in April 2016.
The accommodation is great. It has been recently renovated and is very smart and fresh feeling. It is compact but has everything you need for your stay and I would recommend it for couples or a small family. The kitchen is very well appointed and there is a supermarket just a few kilometers away so it is easy to self-cater if you don't want to eat out all the time. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, they are near by and happy to offer advice if it is requested but not too intrusive either.
The area itself is gorgeous, free car ferries to the islands of the northern archipelago of Gothenburg are just minutes away. These islands are fun to explore, they were a little bit 'sleepy' when we visited in early April as they were just getting ready for the busier summer season. From May onward there would be plenty of organised activities and more cafes, shops etc. open. Having said that, they are still beautiful islands, the main fishing harbour on Hono was open and we could still walk around nature reserves and explore different areas to our hearts content.
The city of Gothenburg is just 20 minutes drive away, so easily accessible and a lot of fun to explore. It has great character and a lovely laid back feel to it. The locals were very friendly. Gothenburg has plenty of things to do, some excellent (and very cheap) museums and galleries. A number of beautiful parks and gardens and plenty of options for shopping, eating and drinking.
We hired a car, but the public transport is excellent and it would be easy to get between the accommodation, Gothenburg and the archipelago using it.
We had a fantastic stay and really recommend this accommodation.
