We had a lovely stay! The house was lovely, kids loved the pool onsite. House was fully equipped and the location looking over the lake was beautiful! We also caught a glimpse of the air show! Looking at booking another trip next year!

Lovely stay, house was perfect and well equipped

The property was very well situated with superb views over the lake and no other lights visible at all at night. The estate is very well maintained with good facilities and many walks are available. The main living room was very big and had a decent sized balcony. The main bedroom on the ground floor was of a good size and en suite. The bunk beds room was fine. The twin room on the ground floor was cramped. Both of these rooms shared a bathroom. The bedroom on the top floor was of a fair size and en suite. The blinds on the ceiling were hard to operate. Unfortunately both this bedroom and its en suite bathroom were dirty. Much of the crockery was also dirty and had to be washed before being used. This was made more difficult as there was no hot water on our arrival and it took a couple of hours for this to be put right. The managing agent responded very quickly to the criticisms made and within a few days had made a substantial refund due to the problems encountered.

Comfortable house and good facilities on site. Generally very clean but some stains to bedding and sofa and musty smelling towels. Would recommend however.

Great house, wonderful view, perfect location.
We have just got home from a lovely weekend with family. The house worked perfectly for us (ages 2-71), and had everything we needed. Description and pictures were accurate. The view is outstanding, and the estate had a great feel, and range of activities. Spa /pool was really nice. A slight issue with the electrics in the property, which was sorted promptly, with good communication with management agent.
Feels like we have found a hidden gem, as I haven’t heard of this place before. We are planning to return!

Lovely property in an excellent location
This is a lovely property and the view out on to the lake is beautiful. Very spacious and well equipped. My only comment would be that the furniture is dated and there are lots of marks and scuffs on the furniture, walls and carpets. It is in need of modernising and cleaning.

Relaxing time with friends and family.
Renting this property was a really smooth process. There was lots of information communicated to us and everything was perfect. The house had the most beautiful, uninterrupted view of the lake and it was very well equipped. With so much to do around the lakes, swimming, canoeing, walks, biking etc the children were well entertained and there was lots of space for them to run around and play rugby, football and tennis. It was the ideal location to relax, catch up with friends and escape for a few days. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect family retreat
We have visited the Lower Mill Estate as a family lots of times, and every time it is a perfect haven of relaxation. Its the first time we have taken our little puppy who loved just siting quietly with us on the living room balcony soaking up the sun and watching the beautiful view of the lake. The accommodation was clean, contemporary and spacious. A wonderful long weekend of swimming, canoeing and enjoying time away from home.

Lovely Property
The property design and location were stunning. Unfortunately we had a few minor issues, but these were sorted in a satisfactory and amicable by John and Kasha from Cotswold Spa Holidays who were very helpful. The issues did not stop us enjoying ourselves at the property

We were 5 adults and 2 children celebrating my mother's birthday. The bedrooms were smaller than we expected based on the photos we saw but it fitted us all well! The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, the living room very spacious with lots of games and DVDs to keep us all entertained - not that we needed entertainment in the house as we were blessed with good weather and there were lots of things to do in the estate. The pool was amazing and the kids enjoyed it every day we were there. Even the outdoor pool was heated and available for us to use even though it was towards the end of October - probably because the weather was still mild. We also treated ourselves to massages at the spa and they were very good. The best of all were the views from the bedrooms and the living rooms - we saw some amazing sunrises, sunsets and moonlit lake. The house was soundproof and together with low light pollution we had some of the best sleeps for a very long time.Although I have rated it 5 star I think there are areas for improvement which would make the house a 5-star plus: the house was generally very clean but the glass on skylights in the living room were pretty dirty (bird poo maybe) and there cobwebs on the ceiling plus the carpets in the rooms and staircase were a bit dirty - but I guess this is expected with the light coloured carpets and use over time. The master suite was a bit smallish with the rather large wardrobe. A handheld shower in the en-suite would have been nice (or provide shower caps) but understand why there isn't one with a risk flooding the bathroom with a half shower screen. A bath shower screen in the main bathroom would have made it more usable and lastly for a very well stocked kitchen it was missing a steamer! But overall very impressed with the property and its location and we all had a great time. Thank you!

Clean, comfortable, spacious and with amazing views. Home away from home.
We were staying at the property for my dad's 70th birthday. The house needed to work for all ages, including two small kids aged 5 and 3. And it absolutely did work. The house was brilliant. It had everything we needed and more. Clean, comfortable, spacious and with amazing views of the lake. The house was well stocked including extras that we hadn't expected. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone planning a relaxing weekend away.
