Location was fantastic, right in the heart of Hebden Bridge but lovely and quiet. Great facilities and so cosy. Fantastic selection of DVDs for family viewing. The house is so close to all the shops, cafes and quirky market.
Not so much didn’t like, but it might be tricky for elderly people to climb the slope to access the property.

great location, luxurious and comfortable cottage with everything you could need!
parking on street had to be updated at 8am

Location is very central to Hebden Bridge. Cottage was clean, warm and cosy. Host responded quickly to enquiries and was very helpful.
On this occasion there were problems with the WiFi which prevented streaming through my iPad and also meant very few channels were available on the TV too

Very comfortable indeed. Superb location for both walking and getting into town.
No free parking, although given the location that is unavoidable.

Lovely location, host answered query really quickly. Lovely touches. Really well equipped, well proportioned and good view from the living room. Would stay again.
Parking might be an issue for some but we parked on the cobbles no problem.

Ideally located for exploring Hebden bridge. The property is peculiar and unique. It is equipped with everything you will need. Great yet simple instructions. No fuss. The property is a real part of the history of the ‘street’ and town.
Parking not immediately outside the house, however there is is plenty of parking around so did not have any issues with finding a location close to the house.

Great location with everything we could possibly need for the whole of our stay.
Had to pay for parking throughout our stay.

The location of the cottage was great, very central. The kitchen was well equipped. There were lots of nice things left in the house such as books, DVDs, games etc. There is a fantastic hidden den for children! There is also a great garden for the summer months. The host left us a bottle of wine and cakes on arrival and it was cosy and warm.
There were a few minor niggles. We left a note for the owner about these.

It was spacious but still cosy and had everywhere wanted. Even generous with small things like loo roll and washing up liquid.
I'd have liked a coffee maker to make more than one at a time, like a cafetiere/french press but that's a small detail. It didn't make a huge difference and we were really happy with our stay.

Wonderful & Quirky with some lovely magical touches . Very comfortable ,clean & warm . On old cobbled footpath to Heptonstall,a step back in time .

Quaint comfortable and well equipped cottage.
Parking on the cobbles was sometimes tricky!

The location was excellent for Hebden Bridge events. The downstairs bedroom and adjacent bathroom was ideal for a disabled adult. The very steep slope up to the front door from the road was considered a problem to begin with but it turned out not to be - for a disabled adult who can walk slowly with support. It would have been a pity to have been put off by the slope and to have missed such a good property.
It took us a little time to find the key box but it all made sense when we saw it - concealed from the passing pedestrians.
