The property is lovely. A true English experience. It was very clean and in a great location, 5 min walk to shopping and 10min walk to 3 different train stations.
My only criticism is that the wifi only worked properly in the main bedroom.
Overall I would highly recommend this property.

We have done many holiday rentals, but unfortunately this is the first that disappointed for very serious reasons. On day 5 of our 8 night stay, a rodent was discovered in the kitchen.
This had a significant impact on our stay, causing us a great deal of stress & additional financial expenses as we were not then comfortable preparing food on the premises.
Overall, this issue far overshadowed any of the positives of this rental.

My friends and I had a great stay at Sandra’s place. It's a beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood. Everything was easily accessible by tube, overground, or bus. If you are looking for a place to escape the busyness of the city of London but still have access to the city center, this place is perfect. We also went to Wembley Stadium during our stay, and that was easy to reach as well. The flat was just as shown in the pictures, with enough space for the four of us! I would definitely book with Sandra again.

We enjoyed our stay in Sandra and marcus appartement. Although we never get to meeting us, Sandra gave us detailed instructions by email. The apartment is in a very Nice and quiet neighbourghood, it’s comfortable and relaxed with a fully equiped kitchen, two spacious bedrooms with very good mattress and a Nice garden. Two subway stations are near : gunnersbury and chiswick Parka and it takes around 50 minutes to get there from saint pancréas’

We had a wonderful stay here. The flat was a perfect size for our family of four. We loved the back garden! The kitchen was very well appointed for cooking easy meals. The beds were very comfortable. Chiswick is a great place for a family to stay- we loved relaxing on the green during the evening. We found the area easily served by the district line and enjoyed the short walk from the station to the flat. The high street had plenty of food options for when we wanted to stay local. We would absolutely stay here again.

The reviews are spot on. My family had a very nice stay here. The layout is a duplex and you stay in the ground level unit. There is no AC, but the floor fan kept us cool (and one bedroom has French doors that can be opened at night to keep things cool). I also loved staying in Chiswick. Very quaint area with lots of shops and restaurants. We would visit central London during the day and then enjoy getting out of the chaos and back to Chiswick in the evening. And if you’re a Ted Lasso fan, the pub where they filmed is just a quick train station away (Richmond)!

We had a great time during our stay at this property. Sandra is a very attentive host, and the house and garden are beautiful and filled with delightful furniture, paintings and collectibles! Chiswick is a very nice area with lots of restaurants and shops, and it's quite close to all that London has to offer. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful time and felt the apartment met our needs quite well. Since my friend and I are over 70 and have some mobility issues, we did find the 2 steps up to get to the bedrooms to be challenging since the hallway is narrow and there is currently not a rail to grasp. also the laundry is down a steep stairs to the basement. Just had to be careful. The only other is is poor television reception so unable to watch local programming and the internet is slow but worked. Given these things, we still loved the place, the kitchen and bathroom were very upscale and the garden is a lovely place to relax.
There is a bus stop 0.1 mile away which runs often so easy get around. It does take about 45 minutes to get into central London but Chiswick had lots of great restaurants, shopping and parks close by and not hectic like the city central so a wonderful balance for our time there. Did not get to meet Sandra but Maurice was a kind and lovely host and would highly recommend for someone taking a leisurely holiday in London.

We had a relaxing stay in this lovely flat.
It was in a peaceful area with easy access to Kew Gardens, Richmond and other areas of London. Sandra and Marcus were very welcoming hosts, and the flat is beautifully looked after.

Property is as advertised though I misunderstood the layout and did not realize the entrance to the downstairs apartment is on the side of the house. This was a concern for us because my husband is in a wheelchair. It was a learning curve for us to figure how to assist him out of the chair and over the 2 levels into the apartment. He has a folding wheelchair which was necessary as a wheelchair cannot be used in the apartment. Sandra obviously takes good care of her property and it shows. Overall a clean, comfortable place to stay in a convenient location for enjoying London and its’ surroundings. Would consider this property again especially knowing what to expect now.

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay while visiting family in Chiswick. The flat is spacious, clean, nicely decorated and everything was is good working order. It is a comfortable walk to the Chiswick High Street and two tube stations. Sandra was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We spent a lovely week in this Chiswick flat. Three adults and space was great. Clean, well organized, great shower!, comfy beds. Loved walking 10-15 minutes each day to tube. 20-30 minutes into central London. Real surprise was Chiswich High road lots of great restaurants. Check out Queen's Head around the corner for a pint. Sandra responded quickly to my one issue and resolved it.

The flat was wonderful, just like the photos suggest. It is cozy, has a great kitchen, firm mattresses, and a wonderful shower. The private garden in the back is lovely to look at and step out into even in rainy October. Sandra and her husband are excellent, responsive hosts. Chiswick village is delightful and we highly recommend Rhythm & Blues coffee/restaurant, a three-block walk. Central London is an easy Tube ride. We plan to return (from the US).

We had such a nice stay at the Chiswick property. Loved how close to restaurants it was! We had some wonderful breakfasts right up the street. The kitchen was so well stocked with utensils, beds were comfy, shower was great and overall just a quaint homey little oasis. It was a bit further from London than we anticipated. With walk times to the underground and switching trains to get the touristy sites it was about a 50 minute commute one way but easy to navigate to get places. We’d come back to stay in a heartbeat. Thanks for a great stay! We made some great family memories on our trip.

We stayed with our two kids for 5 nights. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Grocery store and underground stations are within 8 min walk. The nearby park is beautiful.
Kitchen is equipped with anything you may need.
Would absolutely recommend this place. We would stay here again. We did not use the outdoor garden but had a door wide open for fresh air. Seat pillows for chairs and table clothes for outdoor table would probably make it more inviting.

The area is great and you are close to the tube. There are two markets near by so you can cook in the fully stocked kitchen.
We had relaxing evenings in the patio and I slept in the front bedroom with the bay window. The furniture is so elegant and I wanted pack my dresser in my suit case.
I was so happy with this place and I highly recommend it. The host was so helpful with my many questions.
This home is a true gem.

Very well equipped flat including a marvellous garden with the possbility to eat outside under the sun ,calm only to hear the birds singing(only very senstive people may be disturbt by the planes of Heathrow).
The situation of the flat is very good for trips in the neighbourhood in West- London for example "Kew- Garden or the "Wetland center"
We had a lovely week here and so we send many thanks to Mrs. Edwards

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely home in London! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the tube station and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated - we felt right at home as soon as we arrived.
The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook our own meals, and the living room was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. We also appreciated the fast Wi-Fi and the comfortable beds, which ensured a good night's sleep every night.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the beautiful garden - it was so peaceful and tranquil, and the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine.
The hosts were fantastic and really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay - they were quick to respond to any questions we had, and even left us some thoughtful treats and recommendations for local attractions.
Overall, we would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting London - it's the perfect base for exploring the city, and we can't wait to come back and stay again soon!

Homey, with garden, kitchen skylight next to well appointed living room with french doors to large welcoming garden table, chairs under umbrella of trees. Upscale bathroom and best shower ever. Better than most vistors own homes. Need car if you're not a walker. Neat must dine or drink at The Queen's Head, steps from this perfect street level flat. If you have a car there is parking at front door. If not--and we didnt have car, we hired "Vale" car service, a 24/7 for appts such as The Shard. We loved the art, architecture, and ambiance of this flat in classy Chiswick area of London.

We felt so lucky to be able to spend a week at this beautiful property as we explored London. It was certainly a home away from home, from the generously sized towels to the comfy beds with high quality linen.
You can never really tell from photos if everything will live up to expectations but in this case, the flat exceeded them. Our party of four adults never felt cramped - there was plenty of room in the living area for us all to relax at night. Adding to the charm were the many beautiful artworks on the walls, and a good range of books on the shelves.
The kitchen had everything thing we needed, with a full sized fridge and pantry with items such as teabags left by previous holidaymakers - thank you!
In the basement, the washing machine & dryer were efficient and easy to use.
The flat overlooks a lovely garden which is where we saw our first snowfall, our first squirrels and lots of bird life.
Sandra and Marcus were wonderfully discreet hosts, available if we needed help but otherwise leaving us to our own devices.
Chiswick itself was charming, with its high street putting on the Christmas vibe.
All in all, highly recommended. We would certainly hope to return.

Turnham Green met our needs perfectly. The house was very well equipped including a washer and dryer. Chiswick is a great place to stay while visiting London. A quiet 8-10 minute walk to the tube and about 20 minutes to central London.. Chiswick had plenty of good pubs and restaurants. We had a very nice two week visit.

I cannot express how beautiful and lavish this flat feels. The bedrooms have such lovely high ceilings and classic distinguished decor. I really felt a royal touch. It was more than we hopped for. Miss Sandra is so very professional as well as personable. The location has such great access and it's easy to her the hang of it! Come stay a while :)

A great apartment in a good location
We spent a week in Sandra's apartment and it was perfect for our family of four (it works with small kids) - the apartment is well-equipped and cosy, and feels like someone's home as opposed to a bland rental.
- Two big double-bedrooms
- A small bathroom with an amazing powerful shower
- A compact kitchen/dining/lving room
The little back yard was a godsend too.
Walking distance to Chiswick Park for trips to Central London and plenty of shops/pubs/restaurants on Chiswick High Road.
Sandra was very helpful - I would HIGHLY recommend this property for people wanting a base in London.

Lovely leafy flat in chiswick
Lovely flat with ample space and completely refurbished to a hood standard. The garden is lovely and feels like the outside is inside. There were periodic issues with the WiFi, but the host was on it and couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. We arrived a day late due to the Airlines, but the host had arranged for us to arrive earlier than check in. Having an early morning flight, that was invaluable.
We will be back. Thanks Sandra.

Convenient to London
All is comfortable and convenient to transportation to see London. A very comfortable stay. Washer/dryer is impossible to use, even with side instructions. Kitchen and utensils need to be thoroughly cleaned. All else is recommendable.

Just Like Home!
Cozy, comfortable, convenient... everything we needed to feel like we were at home away from home was supplied. A short walk to the tube, grocery, and inexpensive Uber ride from the city after a long day and being too tired to deal with the tube. We would definitely like to stay there for future London trips...whenever that may be. My only suggestion, let anyone who may be driving know about parking (I did not read the information in the binder until it was too late) should they inquire before their stay. (We got an offence the first night, 55 pounds!) I also learned that had I applied when I got the car I could have gotten a guest parking permit from Hounslow Police. Great place that I will highly recommend!

Absolutely Fabulous!
Sandra's flat is delightful! Having lived in Chiswick in the 90's, I know firsthand how lovely the town is. My 89 year-old mother joined my husband and me as we traveled from Washington, D.C. to attend a friend's surprise birthday party. Sandra kindly gave us early access to the flat as we'd just arrived from an overnight flight. The moment we opened the door, we knew we were right at home. My mother was especially thrilled with the location, cleanliness and decor of the flat. Three tube stations, multiple bus routes, and a plethora of Uber drivers will get you anywhere in the London area you want. The flat is well-kitted for everything you need to prepare your own meals should you decide to break from the many wonderful culinary options in Chiswick. Just around the corner is a lovely gastropub with garden. You might catch Hugh Grant on a Sunday evening! Sandra's own private garden is right outside the sitting room. Summer brought masses of roses and hydrangeas all over the neighborhood. You're guaranteed a good night's sleep in the comfortable beds and refreshed in the morning in a nice clean shower. Sandra's flat is the perfect example of Chiswick hospitality.
