Location was great; directions were clear. Host responsive prior to our arrival. We didn't understand until the morning of arrival that we'd booked one room - we thought we'd booked a guest house and we thought we had the bedrooms in the listing, not understanding we only got one room. Two of us studied the listing and we both misunderstood so felt misled, but it could have been our fault. It was completely unsuitable for 3 adults traveling together. The chair that folded out to a bed would have been fine for a child under the age of ten but not an adult. Fortunately the host was very responsive and was able to arrange for a room that had just been cancelled at the hotel just a few blocks away. It cost obviously a lot more money but it saved the visit completely. We were grateful for him going above and beyond to work that out but if we'd known we'd have spent the combined budget money on a different choice.
The mattress was awful. I did not care for the smell of the room. There is not good insulation so we could hear the couple next door "enjoying" their vacation and could see them in action when we walked by at night (not the host's fault obviously; the guests chose to leave the light on without blackout shades on the window of the door). We thought the terrace was our private terrace and didn't understand that was for anybody who wanted to use it. We understood the room to include beach towels but waited for hours (the host did make this 'right' by giving us a bottle of wine and paying for the beach blanket that we had to purchase -but we still waited a long time for the towels to be delivered.

The room was in a great location close to the main street. The host is lovely and very kind and attentive. Coffe and snacks were provided. The host was very helpful sending information for parking.
The apartment doesn't have any sound barriers and I could hear someone sneezing in another apartment as if they were in the room.

Alessandro is a wonderful host - very hospitable, helpful and responsive. We loved all the snacks in the room and the housekeeping did a great job as the place was spotless. The facilities are good - coffee and tea machine, as well as very efficient air conditioner and an outdoor space that you can use. Easy walk from the train station and great part of town.
Occasionally you'll see people outside walking directly in front/outside the room (there's an external blind you pull down for privacy) going past. It is not a big issue, but it can be a bit unexpected.

Location was good and a decent room with aircon.

Alessandro is a fantastic host, we couldn't have been more looked after. Thanks Alessandro, can't wait to visit again and have recommended your property to family/friends here in Australia.

The owner was really trying to make our stay nice and memorable , gave advice on what to visit, was welcoming and kind. The room is very clean and the small garden patio was really nice.
The room is super small for 3 people and there is no window ( just glass doors), so at night it was very hot, as if we left air conditioning on it would blow on the kid sleeping on the 3rd bed. It could be ok for 2 people but not for 3 ( at least for us). This place was one of several stays we had in Italy this summer and for less money we got full 3 ( large) room appartments with kitchen. It says how overpriced Monterosso is.

Very close to the seafront in Monterosso which can’t be used as a base for visiting the Cinque Terre. Alessandro was a fantastic host, always available and very quick to respond to questions. I highly recommend the property and will not hesitate to visit again. A recently renovated properties and it is very clean. There is also a nice terrace where to have breakfast or a drink. Coffee and water were included and replenished on a daily basis

We loved everything about our stay here and would highly recommend this to others.
The location was great as it was near the beach and near all the restaurants. Our room had a small outside terrace which was great if you just wanted to escape the busy town!
The room was clean and had everything we needed plus loads of free cakes, coffee, wine, etc.
The host is one of the friendliest hosts we ever met! He provided great suggestions on what to see and do. Thank you Alessandro!

Alessandro was a very accommodating host. He answered any question I had prior to booking our trip, which made the choice so easy. He was able to recommend a great day trip to Porto Venere, which my daughters and I enjoyed immensely. The room was very convenient and easy to access and so close to the restaurants, beach and shops in Monteresso Al Mare but quiet and relaxing with a beautiful outside space to have coffee in the morning. The room was clean as well as the efficient bathroom. Monteresso Al Mare is a very special place, easy to access with the train and I recommend going to Cinque Terre towns using the ferry too!
The third bed could have been a higher height which would have allowed me to sleep on it as I did not want to share a bed with my grown daughters. At my age, it is better to sleep alone.lol. But all the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there.

The host is super helpful if you have any Questions about the Cinque Terre. He answers quickly via WhatsApp and responded to our messages in good English. Besides that the beach and train station are nearby. When you come home after a long day, you are then greeted by a lovely room complemented by a modern bathroom.

Where do we start.. :) amazing location, close to the beach and town centre (yet very quiet), and the perfect host! Alessandro was very helpful and caring. He guided us through the first steps in Cinque Terre, helped us with the parking and gave us loads of great tips regarding local tourist attractions. We definitely recommend Albamare as a place to stay in Cinque Terre.
Absolutely nothing:)

Very nice family run. Extremely clean. Super close to the beaches. We liked to have the private garden, it is a great escape during hot summer to chill and escape from the heat (also from the over-crowded center during COVID19). The owners are friendly and helpful. We would like to come back :)

it is just 300 m from the beach, with air conditioning, freshly renovated. Coffee, cookies are cool.
Trains are quite close and noisy

Alessander, the owner sent me details information how to get to his place ONE week before. This service is a huge plus for me.
When we arrived, someone was waiting for me with the key. When we entered our room, many different snacks, bottle water, hand sanitizer, coffee, tea and wine are waiting for me FREE of charge. My daughter loves the snacks. We like the wine :D
We had few fresh peaches from the tree (in front of the room).
Nothing. Everything is perfect for us
