About this apartment rental
Our apartment is ideal for a relaxing family holiday, whether it be rain or sun. Fragrant dunes, an extensive sand, warm and always calm sea. In fact, it is necessary to walk a lot in the sea to be without foot, which gives a great security in relation to children and seniors. A typical Algarve village, authentic people and fresh and intense gastronomy make this land a secret paradise!
*** It should be noted that, except for the winter months and low season, the check-in (15h30) and the check-out (13h) will be made on Saturday. We can always make an exception case plan to arrive out of hours, but p. f. CONTACT ME FIRST, okay?
*** It is important to note that the consumption of Gas, Electricity, Water, Air Conditioning, as well as 1 Pack / week of bed linen and towels (4pax) are included in the price and 1 Cleaning / week of floors and WC, and finally the digital TV service (+ 140 channels) and Internet WIFI (100Mbps).
The apartment is located in an urbanization in the western strip of Altura. It is located on the top floor, with access through a semi-outdoor gallery, after the stairs or elevator. The apartment will be 100% committed to you! You can also access the basement garage, which is more useful for temporary storage. You can also use my bike, an "oldie" with a basket, very useful for day-to-day laps. But please take good care of her, for she is "an old lady" and very fragile!
This is a FRIEND OF ANIMALS. So you can bring your non-human friends to socialize during your stay. I only ask for a sense of RESPONSIBILITY and redoubled care, just as if it were children. Care is taken to vacuum the floors daily.
The urbanization is quiet, with plenty of parking and pedestrian spaces. It is close to the center of the village, so a pedestrian night walk is very pleasant and does well to digestion. On this route there are several restaurants, terraces, cafes and even a pair of urban "radical" activities - skateboarding. In the summer months, there is always a lot of excitement, with carts, regional product fairs, a children's train, pedal cars and tandem bikes. It is great for the whole family, with great security and tranquility.
The coastal cities of western Algarve are true pearls, valuing their authenticity and identity, also derived from a strategy of development less intrusive than other zones in the center and west of the Algarve.
If you want a more relaxed vacation, away from hordes of tourists, ultra-crowded theme parks and noisy streets, then the Eastern Algarve is sure to suit you. The towns along the coast generally are not even on top of the sea line. They are separated from the Atlantic by salinas, salt marshes, dune zones and other typical landscapes, which are part of the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, which extends from the south of Faro along the coast to the town of Vila Nova de Cacela.
The windward beaches are known for their long sands, some islands and outcroppings. Therefore, little has been the pressure of real estate and high-density hotels, in the face of coastal, landscape and ecological protection plans.
The wetlands of the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve create a specific wild coastline, in contrast to the red sandstone cliffs of the center of the Algarve and the rugged coastline in the west. Further inland you can venture into wild and virtually untouched territory, where small, rustic and remote villages flourish. You can meet local people with a similar rhythm of life for several generations: a rich cultural heritage that is worth a visit.
