Silvio and Carmelo were the best hosts. They were so helpful and kind with everything.
The breakfast in the grotto was wonderful with local produce.
The two roof terraces had comfortable furniture and views. A kettle and tea were available to all and the property was perfectly situated in the centre of the old town with restaurants all around. Perfect!

It was such a unique property- beautifully restored and decorated with style and passion. Such an interesting history which Silvio explained to us.
Absolutely nothing- it was wonderful!

EVERYTHING, if ur going to Sciacca and not sleeping @ Casa dell’aromatario ur missing out! Our hosts were very kind and helpful, the B&B very clean, the rooms well designed - the soundproofing between rooms and the bathroom extractor fan worked very well! It was a good central location, and we liked the added interest of the antichi granai and the aromatorium. The terraces were also very pleasant. The breakfast was good with some local pastries.
The mattress was quite uncomfortable. I found our room a little humid. Though the breakfast was good, the coffee machine/milk frother could have been better. The terraces were lovely but as one of the room's windows looked onto both of them, I felt I needed to be quiet there.

The kindness of the hosts, always ready to accommodate any request and provide useful advice. The rich breakfast, with delicious local products. The modern and clean rooms. The perfect location in the old town. The guided visit to the garden with aromatic plants: a worthy experience.
Nothing.

The property has been finished to a very high standard. a lot of care and attention to detail has gone into everything. We very much enjoyed the herb aroma experience and hearing about the renovation of the building. Both Silvio and his brother have so much passion for what they do and they couldn’t have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay, the rooms were beautifully decorated and felt completely new, the whole place was spotlessly clean, breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety and the location was fantastic. I would really recommend if you’re staying is Sciacca.

Our host Silvio and his brother ( the new arromatorio!) was so welcoming and helpful. We were greeted outside and helped to find a free parking spot. They gave us a map of the area and assisted us in finding specific locations. The room was modern with lots of light and a view of the sea as well as a terrace. The breakfast was great with homemade jams and spreads. Definitely take the time to do the tour of the amazing herb
garden and cave on the property.

We had the fortune of coming to Sciacca for a wedding. Our friends who were getting married had previously stayed there and recommended we stay there as well. To say it was a good recommendation is an understatement.
Silvio and his brother Carmelo were incredibly kind and welcoming. The check in process was seamless. When Silvio understood we had to park our car, he jumped into the car with us without hesitation to guide us to the nearest parking. While walking back with us he then treated us to a brief history of town and pointed out a place we could get some food despite the quiet and hot afternoon time. The rooms were clean and nice. Breakfast was served downstairs in a beautiful grotto-like room. There we met Carmelo, who was serving us breakfast. The breakfast consisted of a lovely selection of local pastries, jams, cold meats and cheeses as well as home made fennel pate with anchovies. Silvio’s brother also keeps all kinds of different herbs and plants in the back yard. He treated us to an amazing smelling and tasting tour explaining precisely what to do which each plant. All in all we highly recommend staying here. Everyone is so lovely and Silvio and Carmelo will go out of their way to ensure you have a good experience at their B&B. Thank you Silvio & Carmelo! If we come back to Sciacca we will definitely stay with you again!

Silvio and Carmelo were so welcoming, friendly and attentive. The rooms were adjoining which was great and they were lovely and clean. The breakfast was varied and plentiful and we enjoyed eating in the cave, with personal service. The bnb location was good for the town and we really enjoyed the tour of the herb garden! Parking was a bit difficult as the town was very busy with traffic, but they helped us to find free parking nearby. The old part of the town was interesting. Great restaurant recommendation!
Maybe some more lively music during breakfast time in the cave would be good :)

We cannot thank Silvio (our host), enough for the amazing experience we had at this beautiful B&B in Sciacca. Communication with him was always fast and it was very easy to access the apartment and park our car. We were given the "Lavander" room, which is on the top floor of the hotel overlooking the old town and the sea. The room and the bathroom were very comfortable, fresh and very clean. Silvio's restaurant recommendations were great! Next morning breakfast was served to us very kindly by Silvio and he also showed us the amazing discoveries they have made renovating the building and his awesome herb garden. We will for sure recommend this place and come back to stay more nights.

Silvio and Carmelo are great hosts! They were most welcoming and provided excellent information on Sciacca. We really enjoyed staying at their totally renovated and spotless historical B&B. Loved the plentiful and varied breakfast and tour of the herb garden! We arrived at a less busy time, so we were upgraded to a larger room with a sitting area. Free parking was less than a couple of minutes walk. Highly recommended!

This B&B is quiet, very lovely, and run by the nicest family..... It is located at the site of what was once an ancient granary, and then in the 1700's, the shop of an "Aromatario" an apothecary/herbalist of sorts. The proprietors renovated the building, preserving the historical aspects, and the result is that the rooms are modern and well-furnished, but the breakfast room is in the old granary "cave". Fascinating! Breakfast was fantastic --- varied and delicious. After breakfast, one of the owners showed us his herb garden, explaining the varieties and uses of the plants..... Herbs and other preparations were available for sale as well. This B&B was a great find!!
Nothing negative to report!

The rooms were very nice and clean and the owner Silvio was really polite. Even if we just stayed one day, we enjoyed being there. We had to leave to the airport before the regular breakfast time and Silvio prepared us breakfast prior to the usual time. We can definetly recommend this place.

Silvio was absolutely amazing! he helped us with everything to taking our bags, to helping us park and secure our rented automobile to making a delicious dinner reservation and serving us an amazing breakfast! His brother Carmello, gave us a tour of his urban herb garden. it was so delightful. And we totally recommend booking a spa time at Regina’s. super fun 24 hours! thank you Silvio!!
noting! we wish it had been warmer to enjoy the rooftop garden patio!

We don't honestly think that Silvio or Carmelo could have done more to make us feel welcome. From WhatsApp messaging to help ensure they met us and helped with parking, to their property introduction, accommodation of early breakfast and overall enthusiasm for Sciacca, they are fantastic hosts. They have done a great job refurbishing the property. Location is very central. Breakfast was outstanding. A great choice if you can get it.
Had to park in the square nearby, although only a 10 minute walk back.

The hosts were super friendly and the breakfast room in the cave was stunning and unique. The best surprise was the aromatic experience, smelling and tasting the range of plants grown by Silvio and Carmelo - absolute sorcery 😱
The roof terraces were also beautiful.
Although clean and comfortable, the room design were quite basic compared to the rest of the property.

We didn’t have any expectation before we arrived to Sciacca. We didn’t do any study of the town but just wanted to give a try. We were warmly welcomed by Silvio. He was super nice helpful and very well knowledgeable about the town. The room is very clean and Morden. Great Wi-Fi speed we Loved the breakfast and everything. The variation in the minibar is also super! Hotel is very well located in the old town just beside Porta di Palermo. Definitely worth the money and will stay again next time ^_^
