The property has the potential to be very nice there are details that have been overlooked
Cleanliness- there were some bugs, the wall and ceiling ould use some cleaning there is a cracked window. The gutters need to be cleaned so water can drain properly so visitors don't get soaked at the door during storms.
We cut our trip a little short when the AC wouldn't come on. Alison waa very responsive when i contacted her

Had a hockey tournament at the Ice Palace and this place was perfect. Great location convenient to shopping and restaurants in North Charleston. Hotel style dispensers in the showers was a nice touch. Loved the reading nook and the fully stocked kitchen.

We had such a great stay at this VRBO, the accommodations were great and exactly what we needed for the weekend! My kids loved the bunk beds and the backyard was great to run around in. Short Uber ride to downtown Charleston. Thanks to the great host for checking in and making sure everything went smoothly!

This home exceeded our expectations. It is beautifully appointed, clean, and comfortable. Hosts responded to us quickly. We cooked some of our meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our small dog traveled with us. The back yard was perfect for him and very secure. The home is in a nice neighborhood with sidewalks and even walking trails. We will definitely stay here on our next trip!

Everything was great. Allison was very accommodating and attentive. Communication was great. Well stocked kitchen with many pots and pans and more seasonings than I’ve seen anywhere. A very pet friendly home, with a fenced in yard and nearby parks. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood with every amenity imaginable nearby. Easy access to downtown Charleston, many golf courses, and all of the historic destinations. Looking forward to staying again.

Owner was responsive when we had questions. We were able to park in the garage and have a couple family members over, which was nice. Discovered that although the primary bed had been made, the sheets hadn’t been changed from the last guests (hair all over the flat sheet near the pillows on both sides of the bed from two different people, pillow cases smelled like sweaty heads). Tried to replace sheets but sheets in the closet had a lot of stains and some hairs. So we stayed up really late doing laundry before we could sleep. We travel a lot throughout the US and Europe, we’re experienced travelers. Most or all of the bedding, bath towels and kitchen towels were covered with a lot of different stains, I’ve never been in a home or hotel with so many stains on the linens. The high touch and main areas appeared clean, but edges everywhere in the home were dirty. Home needs some TLC and attention throughout, with minor and minimal repairs that have been neglected. We discovered a frog crawling up the wall of the bedroom in the middle of the night, I suspect it crawled through the gap around the front door where the weather stripping needs to be repaired or replaced. This could be a really nice and clean home with a deep cleaning and bleaching or replacing the linens.

i’m so glad it was a doggie friendly house, i was able to bring my dogs with me and the backyard was so much bigger than what i expected. The house was clean and very spacious. i loved that i had everything within a few minutes. The master bedroom has one of the comfiest beds i’ve ever slept on. i would love to book this house again in the future. There was only 2 things that i would’ve changed. 1) the owner said the people before me forgot to take out the trash to the curb so it was overflowing in the garage and when i went to do laundry it would stink so bad that it would make me gag… so for me making sure there is no trash left behind would be nice. but i understand it wasn’t their fault… but the housekeeper should definitely get it. because i noticed at a certain point we were starting to get flies in house/ laundry room. 2) we had issues with the sink disposal… was not working so when we had this issue on wednesday night, i let the owner know and they/he came over the next day(thursday) but couldn’t fix it…. and we had to leave friday morning before 11am so it made cleaning for me a little difficult because i couldn’t use that side of the sink and wouldn’t drain and things would take a lot longer to clean. But like i said overall the house was very lovely, spacious and i would say excellent location. i wish more places would be doggie friendly and everyone talks about the patriots stuff…. i didn’t bother me at all. i would book this house again.

This is a nice place with a very responsive owner who is willing to address any issues and give recommendations for area restaurants, etc. We really did enjoy our stay. Our family of four adults and two dogs had fun and there was plenty of room. Nice living room and TV, grill, concrete patio, fenced n back yard… everything that was promised.
The house does need some maintenance and the kitchen needs updating. If the house was well maintained I would have given 4 stars; with an updated kitchen, 5 stars.

We had a great stay here! The house was in a good neighborhood, had very easy check in, the house had everything we needed even stuff for the beach, our host was quick with responding to any questions we had. They even had dog treats and toys to make our girls feel welcome ( 2 Great Dane dogs it was really nice for them to not have a weight limit and accept mutable dogs) Check out was easy and fast. We would definitely recommend it and stay again!

This home is exactly as the pictures show! Beautiful home in a nice neighborhood. We felt like we were at home. Everything was clean and comfortable. We were happy to be able to take our dogs. The fenced in yard made play time a lot easier. Close to all the activities we wanted to do. The host gave excellent recommendations for restaurants and places to see. We are Eagles fans and had no issue with the Patriots stuff on display! Would love to stay here again!

Stay was perfect
Exactly what we needed for parents with kids but would work for so many
Past complaints talk about patriots decor
We are not necessarily football fans and found the decor minimal and barely noticeable for football / patriots things
We found the decor very modern and fresh
Chalk and other fun indoor and outdoor games for kids
Wonderful nice neighborhood
Close to so many things in various directions for all ages
Our tire shredded ok 95 45 minutes away
We were relieved to find a Honda dealership on the corner of the neighborhood that was amazing and replaced our tires next day ! Point being beautiful place, perfectly places and hosts quick to respond with any guidance or help! Must book and we will both recommend and return annually!

This house was perfect for my husband and I (and our dog) for a one month stay. The house is large enough where we each had our own space to work. The kitchen is a good size and well equipped. We enjoyed our daily walks around the neighborhood and our dog loved the fenced yard. The owners were very responsive. Highly recommend.

We booked this house for a last minute trip with our adult children and dog. The house, though small, was very nice, well furnished and accommodated the six of us very comfortably. The fenced back yard and patio with furniture was a huge plus so we could just let our dog out and not worry about tying him or inevitably, untangling him! The neighborhood was beautiful with several small ponds and walking paths. There is a ton of general shopping nearby and we visited Charleston, the beach and several other attractions that were all within 30 minutes of the house. We had a wonderful time in SC and would recommend the house to others!

Great place
House was very clean. We bought or brought all things like beach towels, paper towels, coffee filters, etc., but house had an abundance just in case you ran short. Nice floor plan for a B&B layout, with ample space for a family of 5. Would stay again if going out to SC.

Cute Comfy House in Charming Hanahan, SC
Our family of 4 adults and 2 dogs had a lovely stay in Hanahan, SC in this charming home. Though it's a small 3/2 house it felt very spacious. The beds/mattresses were comfy, the recliner and couches were a high quality and were very comfortable, even the carpet felt luxurious. One of our favorite features of the house was the cute fenced in backyard, which was perfect for our 2 dogs. We play a lot of board games on vacation so the dining room table had comfortable seating and a large area for us to play games and work on a puzzle at the same time. The A/C worked great and we did some laundry with the nice brand new washer and dryer. I only have two small complaints about the house: 1) the toilets in both bathrooms were a bit too small and dated and should really be replaced and 2) lots of Patriots football memorabilia in the house. This doesn't take away from the cute house but I would keep in mind not everyone are football fans. I didn't remember seeing any football memorabilia in any of the photos when I booked the place so I was a little surprised. The owners were very attentive and are even local to help out with anything or offer tourist suggestions. Lots of great local eating. We really enjoyed Boxcar Betty's and Sno-dash which were only a few blocks away. Downtown Charleston and the beaches were 30 minutes away which means we didn't get much time to site-see, but Hanahan offered a lot of fun things to do. Thank you for such a great house to vacation in, we very much enjoyed our stay!

Very Nice Place To Stay
We had a very good week staying in Hanahan. Checking in was easy and we had everything we needed for our stay. The back yard was just right for our little dogs and they may have even made a friend or two with the squirrels in the trees. We'd happily stay again if we're in the area, thanks a bunch.

Cozy, comfortable home
My husband and I travel with our 3 exotic birds, and we came here for a family destination wedding. My brother/sis-in-law also joined us a few days. The cozy house was perfect for us, all on one level and having comfortable beds and couches. The amenities are wonderful, with a fully equippy kitchen. Great hosts, with Allison being super responsive and caring of their guests. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and near enough to everything. Along with the wedding venues we kayaked, did a boat tour to Morris Island seeing lots of dolphins, shopped market place and visited Rainbow Row walking around Charleston. Magnolia Gardens were beautiful. We ate at some delicious dinner restaurants, most with outside seating. The weather was perfect every day. We couldn't ask for much more other than a few extra days, but we enjoyed our week, and would stay here again. We would also recommend the house to others.
