About this chalet rental
Luxurious mountain chalet, very comfortable, beautifully renovated in 2017, with fireplace and sauna, located at the foot of hiking trails and 700m from the ski slopes of Grand Valtin, in an exceptional setting without any opposite, with panoramic views on the crests of the High Vosges. Alpine ski slopes of Gérardmer and Bresse 10 km. Snowy access in winter.
Very sunny with south facing balcony and terrace on a large garden. Parking for 4 cars.
Quiet, but easy to access in the residential area of the highest chalets in the Vosges and in the most beautiful valley of the high Vosges, very well preserved and with charming restaurants.
Very neat interior design, with a warm mountain and travel atmosphere. Wall hangings, cushions, wood, decorative items give a magical atmosphere for all tastes, as the 5/6 bedrooms and 3 living rooms have different decorating styles. The appliances and bedding are new and quality. 2 TVs including a very large flat screen TV / Home Cinema with sound bar.
Gerardmer, Schlucht and Bresse are 10 minutes, Xonrupt 4 km, the charming village of Valtin 2 km with excellent restaurants and traditional bakery. Access by the departmental and a municipal road cleared in winter. Snow tires required in winter.

1st floor / ground floor balcony and terrace:
- entrance with cupboard and coat rack
- Large living room / dining room of 40 m2 with fireplace (table monastery extending for 14 with benches, 1 sofa bed, 6 chairs, 4 stools ottoman, a bench skin goat, 1 stool, 1 regional buffet, 2 corners , 1 office) with Minibose for music
- access to the mezzanine which can be either a bedroom or a TV lounge of 12 m2, with 1 sofa bed in double bed 140 cm, very comfortable Bultex mattress 2 seats, 2 cushions / seats, 1 sofa bed 1 person 80x190cm , TV 145 cm, Homecinema, DVD player, cable TV Orange
- large kitchen of 10 m2 with LV, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, induction hob
- Very large bathroom with Sauna 4 persons, power shower and WC (10 m2)
- 1 bedroom bed 160, 2 bedside tables, safe, cupboards, armchair and dressing table (11m2)

In the linden of Natura 2000 forest, you can hear the slab of the deer in late summer. The Chaume de Sérichamp walkway is at the door of the chalet and takes you through the majestic Vosges forest (on foot, cross-country skiing or snowshoeing in winter)

The ski slopes Alpin de la Bresse are 10 minutes by the beautiful road of Vologne, which also allows to reach the Schlucht. Alsace is close by with its traditional winemaking villages, the white lake / black lake, and Colmar is 40 km.

Très beau séjour!
Nous avons passé un super beau séjour dans ce gîte.
Il est très très bien équipé (avec lit parapluie et chaise haute pour enfant) et la vue est magnifique (d'autant plus s'il neige).
Nous avons eu quelques soucis de communication mais tout est vite rentré dans l'ordre.
Nous ne manquerons pas d'y retourner et de recommander l'endroit :)

Im allgemeinen sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft
Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe von 11 Personen in dem Chalet und haben uns wohlgefühlt. Trotz allem hätte das Chalet etwas sauberer sein können und wir sind der Meinung, dass es für mehr als 11 Personen platztechnisch bei den Betten durchaus knapp werden kann. Der Gemeinschaftsraum und auch die Küche waren sehr gut ausgestattet und gemütlich zu sitzen. Allerdings konnte man bei den Küchenutensilien deutliche Gebrauchsspuren erkennen. Die Lage war perfekt und sehr ruhig. Die Kommunikation mit der Eigentümerin lief einwandfrei und auch der Check-in war mehr als einfach. Abgesehen von änderbaren Kleinigkeiten würden wir das Chalet trotzdem weiterempfehlen.

Un bon petit séjour de 4 jours dans les Vosges
Nous étions 12 dans le chalet.
Nous avons garé 6 motos sur le parking privé et une voiture.
Isabelle ĺa personne qui s occupe du chalet est très agréable.
Nous étions bien situés pour sillonner les cols en moto.

Nous avons passé un séjour magique dans ce chalet.
La vue est saisissante, le chalet est chaleureux et bien décoré.
Avant notre arrivée, puis à notre arrivée, la propriétaire nous a transmis toutes les informations nécessaire sur le chalet, et également une liste de lieux à découvrir dans la région, ce qui était un véritable plus.
Un grand merci à Isabelle pour sa gentillesse et son accueil.
Nous avons hâte de revenir dans les Vosges.

Superbes vacances dans un chalet confortable et spacieux
Nous étions trois couples avec ado et enfants. Nous avons apprécié la conformité du chalet à l'annonce, sa situation (superbe balade dans la forêt derrière), les chambres en bas et l'espace de vie en haut, bien insonorisé, les deux salles de bain, le jardin dehors, le sauna et la cheminée. Bon accueil par Isabelle et bonne communication avec la propriétaire. Nous recommandons.

Gemütliches kleines Ferienhaus.
Es war nicht so sauber wir wir es uns vorgestellt haben. Sehr staubig. Wir müssten am ersten Tag einiges sauber machen.
Die Heizung in der Sauna hat nicht richtig funktioniert. Es hat sehr lange gedauert die Sauna aufzuheizen.
Sonst war alles Top.

Chalet chaleureux et cosy. Dommage de n’avoir pas eu beau temps pour sortir mais du coup nous avons bien profité de l’intérieur : douillet et bien agencé avec une maximisation de l’utilisation de tout l’espace possible. À 6 adultes et 4 enfants je dirais que c’est le bon nombre. Chalet bien équipé. Réponses aux questions tout à fait rapides et support apprécié. Chalet dans quartier résidentiel, cependant le dénivelé fait qu’on n’est pas gêné par les autres. C’était un bon moment

Chalet pas adapté pour 14 personnes
Très déçue par ce lieu car annoncé pour 14 personnes. Nous étions 12 adultes et 2 enfants et ce n'était pas convivial du tout : il est impossible de vivre à 14 sans se marcher constamment dessus. L'utilisation de la chambre d'appoint (salon d'intérieur) rend impossible l'accès aux autres chambres, à la salle de bain et aux toilettes, une fois le canapé convertible déplié.
Aussi, les chambres et pièces à vivre déjà petites (contrairement à ce que vend l'annonce) sont encombrées par un tas d'objets volumineux et complètement inutiles : trop de meubles et de décorations.
La cuisine est très jolie mais pas très pratique (ex. on ne peut pas ouvrir le lave vaisselle et ranger la vaisselle en même temps). Et on ne peut pas y circuler à plus de 2 ou 3.
Enfin, une des chambres sert de passage quand on prend l'entrée du bas : bonjour l'hygiène au sol, la température dans la chambre et l'intimité.
Je recommande ce chalet pour un plus petit groupe de personnes (environ 8).
Encore quelques bémols : la communication avec la propriétaire n'était pas très bonne. Elle a répondu à la va-vite aux questions et en loupant certaines.
Sur un des appareils à raclette, les poêlettes sont rouillées !
Pour finir quand même sur une note positive : c'est une autre personne qui a fait le check-in et check-out. Les explications étaient claires pour l'arrivée et le départ.

Maison équipée et décorée avec goût , bonne répartition des pièces pour garantir la tranquillité de chacun . Le lieu est idéalement situé près des lacs , des coins de randonnées et de Gérardmer.

Un séjour très agréable !
Nous avons loué le gîte d’Isabelle pour un anniversaire entre amis et famille. Très belle surprise : après des conseils avisés de la propriétaire et un accueil chaleureux d’Isabelle, nous voici dans un gîte propre, décoré avec beaucoup d’en gout, cosy, et super bien équipé.
De plus, personnel très arrangeant.

War sehr schön, hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das einzige vielleicht - es war aufgeräumt aber nicht genug sauber . Der Teppich im Wohnzimmer war besonders alt und schmutzig, die Möbel auf dem Balkon sind auch schon sehr alt. Und im Garten kann man auch ein bisschen schöner machen, auch ein paar Stühle oder Sessel, um am Lagerfeuer zu sitzen. Sonst gemütlich und genug Platz für alle. Danke !

Etwas für besondere Anlässe - einfach traumhaft schön!
Wir waren anlässlich meines 30. Geburtstages mit einer kleinen Gruppe von Freunden in Isabelle's Haus und ich weiß gar nicht womit ich anfangen soll, denn es war einfach traumhaft schön:
- Die Absprachen mit Isabelle waren sehr unkompliziert, sie war immer hilfsbereit und sehr zuvorkommend. Auch hat sie uns im Vorfeld jede Menge Tipps gegeben - Freizeitaktivitäten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, etc.
- Der Checkin war super einfach und ging super schnell.
- Das Haus selbst ist einfach ein Traum: Lage und Ausstattung sind top. Selbst für ein 5-Gänge-Menü gibt es alles was man in der Küche benötigt. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich und mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Der große Tisch ist genial, ebenso wie die verschiedenen kleineren Sitzecken. Hier fühlt man sich einfach wohl, insbesondere wenn bei Ankunft schon alles so schön hergerichtet ist.
- Die Ausflugsmöglichkeiten sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ein Ausflug zum Col de la Schlucht oder die 3-Seen-Wanderung sind beides sehr zu empfehlen.
- Der Checkout war ebenfalls unkompliziert und einfach.
Kurzum, ich kann jedem dieses Haus nur wärmstens empfehlen, insbesondere wenn man etwas außergewöhnliches, liebevoll eingerichtetes für einen besonderen Anlass sucht.
Deshalb ein ganz großes Dankeschön an Isabelle. Das tolle Ambiente hat mit dazu beigetragen, dass mein 30. Geburtstag mir immer in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Vielen, vielen Dank!

Jolie propriété très bien équipée et idéalement située
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, la maison est très confortable, la cuisine est bien équipée, il ne manque rien! Nous avons profité des balades au départ du lotissement et du lac de Longemer situé a une dizaine de minutes en voiture. Les abords sont très calmes, pas de pollution lumineuse la nuit. Les enfants ont joué dehors, le jardin leur a beaucoup plu et le petit bac à sable a eu grand succès.
Le balcon plein sud avec sa vue sur les montagnes pour l'aperitif, le sauna et le barbecue ont fait l'unanimité chez les adultes.
Attention, les escaliers et les dénivelés du jardins sont raides, un peu de stress avec des enfants en bas âge.
Merci à Isabelle pour les bonnes adresses, mention spéciale pour le boulangerie de Valtin, le pain y est merveilleux.
Une location tout confort à recommander chaudement !

Sehr schönes stilvolles Haus
Unser Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet, dadurch fühlt man sich sehr wohl. Es ist sauber und gut ausgestattet. Auch die Umgebung ist sehr schön und man kann eigentlich sehr viele Freizeitangebote nutzen(wenn dass Wetter mitspielt). Vermieterin auch sehr freundlich. Hat alles wunderbar geklappt, sind sehr zufrieden.

Everything was perfect and as described : the view, the comfort, the space, the decoration, the equipments, the warm welcome of Isabelle.
Rooms are so charming with wood, antiques and furs. Beds are perfects.
And it is a connected lodge with Wifi, internet TV and music , yet very secluded at the border of a natural 2000 protected forest. We had the luck to see 4 deers !
Design and mountain look have the perfect fit in the airy living room overlooking the valley. With snow, the place is gorgeous. Easy access to Gerardmer or Alsace. Nice walks around .

Agréable séjour dans les Vosges mais déçus par la location. Les termes chalets et luxueux nous semblent exagérés.
Si les pièces du haut sont agréables à vivre avec une jolie vue, les chambres du bas sont très sombres et très exiguës. De plus il y a 4 chambres pour deux et une chambre avec lits superposés pour jeunes enfants, ce qui fait 5 et non 6. Une note positive pour les équipements, rien ne manque
Bref une maison de vacances mais pas un luxueux chalet.

Chalet raffiné et très confortable
Séjour parfait .
Super deco design et montagne, que ce soit dans la grande piece à vivre ou dans les chambres à thème et les salles de bains. Très bonne description sur le site. La 6 eme chambre est en mezzanine ouverte sur la pièce à vivre, mais indépendante et charmante , et peut aussi faire office de salon TV. Il y a un autre salon TV en bas avec Chromecast, très pratique pour les enfants.
L'emplacement en pleine nature, avec très belle vue, est très pratique pour accéder aux pistes de ski, à Gerardmer, ou à l'Alsace . Isabelle nous a donné plein de bonnes adresses dans le coin, dont l'excellente boulangerie du charmant village du Valtin.

Magnifique chalet
Nous avons séjourné à 12 + un bébé dans le chalet, il est superbe, spacieux, très cosy. On s'y sent très bien. Il est parfaitement équipé pour 12, la table de la salle à manger est très grande. Nous avons tous adoré notre séjour !
