About this apartment rental
The apartment is 60m2 and is situated in a gated, private and beautifully landscaped garden setting. There is a large swimming pool within the complex, exclusively for use by the residence of the apartments, and we also have our own secure private parking space, both of which you would have the free use of while staying at the apartment.
The apartment is south facing, very sunny & bright and has a large terrace ( 14m2 ) from which there are stunning views across Villefranche Bay, of the sea, coastline, and the mountains behind.
There is an elevator in the building.
The bedroom has a double bed, a large purpose wardrobe, bedside tables etc.
The lounge area is very spacious (24m2) with all the comforts you would expect.
There are two leather double bed pullout sofas in the lounge area.
There is a separate fully equipped kitchen, ideal for cooking and dining either in the apartment or on the terrace.
The apartment is just five minutes walk down to the nearest beach / marine, and a further five - seven minutes walk along the castle sea wall which has beautiful views across the bay to Cap De Ferrat will bring you to the Old Town of Villefranche-Sur-Mer, the small fishing port and the long sandy beach which is great for swimming for young and old.The Old Town offer a great selection of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.

I booked this area and apartment as a birthday present for my husband
He is not a beach lover and likes to spend a couple of hours a day sunbathing by the pool
My one requirement that I put into the search bar was a pool and yes it has a pool but No sunloungers at it!!
So pretty pointless as far as I'm concerned as we couldn't use it once
I had read all the reviews carefully and not one person mentioned this
Then the balcony to sunbathe
Only one sun lounger there ??in a place that could easily sleep 4
The property was clean enough but the shower tray was blocked so we had to use a coat hanger to clear it out
It has completely put me off this type of holiday as you just do not know what you are getting until you arrive
This place could be amazing with a bit more care and thought for the customer as it is a great size in a nice area and Sandra was very good letting us in earlier that the check in time
A few cheap and lightweight sunloungers could be left in the place to take up to

A wonderful apartment with stunning views. Did I say stunning, well that would be an understatement. Far, far, far better than the pics show.
Stayed 6 nights & would have liked to stay a month, maybe 6. Really enjoyed the place, felt like home. Good kitchen, with a good size fridge & freezer, good shower, comfy bed in a totally separate bedroom. Separate toilet & shower room.
Lots of activity on the water, so never boring- big yachts & cruise ships.
close to bus stop & a short walk to township.
Sandra, who let us in & explained everything, was wonderful.. The host is very cooperative & gets back very quickly.
I would love to stay again.

Originally wanted a pool, strong wifi in Nice for 3 adults in separate sleeping areas, but there was nothing left in Nice. Villefranche is just round the corner and the view and apartment looked perfect we went with Alex's apartment.I'm so glad we did. Alex was very helpful in booking and Sandra the local agent very kindly signed us in near midnight. The apartment was lovely for us two adults and adult son who had a sofa bed in the lounge. Nice spacious clean apartment. Comfy beds, we were a little surprised there was no basic hand soap in the bathroom but that was easily remedied next day when we also bought teabags and milk and basic groceries at the small Casino supermarket down the road.There was such a great view of the port and the comings and goings of luxury yachts in the bay. We spent many an evening drinking rose and watching the view. There were also several firework displays with a ringside view from our balcony.
The pool was great and shared with other residents of the private Residence. Location of the apartment buildings is set back from a main road so there is no road noise. You can walk into town down the hill but the heat meant we used the bus back. You also take the steps on the opposite side of the road to the Darse port where there is a reasonable cafe for Croissants or a meal and a bit further on is the Darse beach which is great for swimming.
Villefranche itself is lovely with a buzzy restaurant life in the old town leading to the bay. We will return.

This apartment is very comfortable. Big balcony with fantastic view. Great location within walking distance of town centre with bus stops virtually outside for trips to Monaco, Cap Farrat and Nice. Sandra, the property manager was very attentive and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Relaxing, Convenient with OUTSTANDING View!
Everything was near perfect in this apartment. The owner emailed me directly before our trip with contact information and his friendly agent, Sandra, met us within ten minutes of our arrival as promised. Very easy, and she spoke English which was very helpful. Parking was right next to the building entrance and secure as it is a gated community.
There’s a lift to the 2nd floor apartment and it’s exactly as the pictures show it, although the unobstructed view of the bay is even better in person. We cooked/ate on the terrasse all five nights and had everything we needed. Big frig and freezer but as an American who likes ice, we had to buy ice trays (cheap), no biggie. No oven but four gas burners, and a clothes washer and American-style coffee maker, but no “starter” coffee for the first morning, so if you’re arriving late make sure you bring your own coffee. The walk to old town was just a few minutes and the grocery store just a short drive. The bus stop is right across the street and tourism office less than five-minute walk. The main road is right outside the entrance to the complex so easy for day trips, but we did not hear much traffic noise at all; enjoying the view from the terrasse was quiet, did not hear neighbours either. Checkout was easy and un-rushed, just left the key on the counter and headed out.
Only a few small quirks, thus the “nearly perfect” comment: the air conditioning unit is in the living space and does not reach the bedroom so it was a bit warm sleeping (unusual heat wave while there). We noticed a portable air conditioning unit in the closet so you might request it be installed for your stay if it’s very hot when you visit. The pool has NO chairs or shade, and none available in the apartment to bring down, so a relaxing day sitting by the pool was not possible. Only one key, so we had to coordinate carefully when we went separate ways.
Overall, the apartment was lovely and we enjoyed our stay there immensely.

We just spend 6 days in this fantastic situated apartment. Great and with fast respons communication with both owner and Sandra our local contact for practical issues keys etc. Fantastic view. The pictures sais it all! Good beds, also the sleeping sofas in the Living room are comfortable even for older children. The village is very calm and quiet. If you want action you need to go to Nice. Local beach is small, but great with stones. The pool is fine, but would be better if there was sunbeds or chairs on spot. You sit on the ground. All in all we had a great stay.

We just spend 6 days in this fantastic situated apartment. Great and with fast respons communication with both owner and Sandra our local contact for practical issues keys etc. Fantastic view. Even better than the photos
Such a picture perfect view, this is a really comfortable and well-equipped apartment, we never wanted to leave.
Transport in and out to the airport and surrounding towns is super easy and close by.
The best restaurants are just a stroll away, we would highly recommend this apartment and we will definitely be back.

Unbelievable views and lovely Apartment
This is very spacious (much larger than we thought from the photos) and well appointed apartment, with an unbelievable aspect and view over the entire bay. As I write this I am on the terrace and the evening sun beautifully defines Cap Ferrat and the port below. Very secure and a huge pool in the apartment complex too. Either of 2 bus routes outside the front entrance take you to Nice in 10 minutes or in other direction to Cap Ferrat, Beaulieu of Monaco. Bus every 10-15 mins and €1.50 per trip! I didn't need a car and used bus and some UBER rides to navigate. There is a set of steps across the street to the Darse Port below ( sign says Privé but they are not. Lovely walk down steps and across the waterfront of the old citadel to the Restaurant hub of the Old Port (10-15 mins)

After 2 busy weeks in Paris, this was the ultimate place to spend our final week in France, enjoying all that the French Riviera has to offer. Alex was great to deal with when booking the apartment & promptly responded to all our queries. We were met by the property manager on our arrival & check-in & out were a snap. The apartment was clean, well-appointed, & the A/C & lovely outdoor pool were God-sends during the heat wave this summer. The balcony overlooking the incredibly beautiful Villefranche-sur-mer harbour was heaven & I had to pinch myself every morning while enjoying coffee on the deck.Everything is within close walking distance - groceries, restaurants, old town, buses/train & the fantastic beach. We spent many hours swimming in the warm beautiful waters of the Mediterranean & picnic-ing on the shore. We made day trips to Eze & Nice - I would recommend both - & transportation by bus or train was inexpensive & straight-forward.We were treated to a terrific view of the Bastille Day fireworks over the harbour & Cap Ferrat from the comfort of our balcony. They put on a great show! (Note: check with the Chamber of Commerce event schedule when visiting. Although Bastille Day is July 14th, they held the fireworks on the 13th).I would highly recommend Alex's apartment to other travellers & we hope to return to the "FR" again soon :)

Amazing view from the balcony
Fantastic appartment with a superb view of the bay from the balcony. Lovely quiet location. Very small supermarket and bakery within 5 mins walk and the harbour is a good 10 minutes away with the train station at 15 to 20 minutes. Large 1 bedroom appartment, does sleep 4 on the 2 pull out sofa beds but depending how messy/old your kids are you may find you need to be slightly organised or you'll run out of room. The property is managed by a lovely lady who speaks English

Fabulous views!
This is a high quality apartment that is ideal as a base to explore the Côte d'Azur. It is a five minute stroll from local amenities such as supermarket, bakery and local restaurants and a 20 minute walk into the lovely town of Villefranche. It is also on several bus lines with easy access to Nice, Monaco and St Jean Cap Ferrat. The apartment is furnished and decorated to a high standard and there is a lovely pool in the complex. The view from the terrace is to die for!

Amazing view from lovely apartment
Pictures on websites are always difficult to judge but in this case the pictures simply do not do the property justice. The terrace is very large (the full width of the apartment and over 6 feet deep) with a large dining table and chairs with a very effective wind down awning to keep the sun at bay if you want to. The views from the terrace are stunning of the bay and across to Cap Ferrat.
The kitchen is well equipped as described. The lounge has 2 large sofas and tv with uk channels. We did not use the sofa beds so cannot comment on them.
The bedroom has fitted wardrobes, bedside tables and lights and a comfortable double bed. This was especially important to me as I suffer with back problems. So perfect for us.
The bathroom has a large shower with lots of instant hot water.
Linen was good, cotton sheets and white towels. The apartment was very clean, tidy and well maintained.
Alex was helpful during the booking stage and ensured we knew when our payments had cleared into his account. Sandra was very helpful showing us all the apartment and how to use the washing machine etc as well as taking us to the swimming pool so we knew where it was located and showing us how to use the access key fobs. She pre-arranged with us when we expected to arrive and we confirmed this with a text. She was there to let us in when we got off the bus. Sandra also provided her email address and phone number in case we needed her which we didn't as everything was perfect.
The apartment is on the 81/100 bus route into Nice and to either Cap Ferrat or Menton (via Monaco). There is a Carrefour a few stops back into Nice or you can walk (we meandered along the beautiful route and it took us 45 minutes) and then we took the bus back with our shopping. There is also a SuperU at Beaulieu which you get to by taking the 81 and walking a short route to the train station there.
We loved the area and would certainly recommend both this property and the area to friends and

besonders: Die Busse in alle Richtungen (mehrmals pro Stunde) halten in etwa 150m Entfernung.
Hinter der Anlage gehen Wege bergauf und laden zu schönen Wanderungen ein.
Zusammengefasst: Die Wohnung kann wärmstens empfohlen werden. Wir würden
sie sofort wieder buchen; und Freunde von uns haben bereits Interesse gezeigt.

Beautiful Views
Being from the U.S., we were unsure about reserving a place in France without knowing the owners or managers. However, we did make the reservation and the apartment is just as described and shown in the pictures. We had a contact number for the rental manager, who met us at the complex and went through the apartment with us explaining how everything worked. Everything was very clean. The only thing that could be improved is the bed's mattress.
We went to the market at the bottom of the hill and bought fresh vegetables, cheeses, and sausages. We feasted on the balcony, toasting our good fortune at eating such good food, drinking such good wine and having such a beautiful view.
This was a great location for exploring the coast and the hillside villages. We very strongly recommend this without any hesitation.

Perfect homebase to explore the Côte d'Azur
Villefranche is a perfect place to stay and a perfect base to visite the fantastic sites of the Côte d'Azur (by car, train or bus). The apartment is confortable, big enough for 4 to 5 persons and verry well equiped. Wonderful breakfast on the balcony! The only thing we missed was the spring-sun in the afternoon. We would choose the same apartment for our next trip to Villefranche.

L'Agrianthe - Vileefranche-sur-Mer
We enjoyed our holiday in Villefranche. It is a nice village with a historic centre and a nice port area. It is a perfect place gor a holiday at the Cote d'Azur, and a good starting point for various sight seeing tours.
The apartment is located in a residence which is closed for public access. A parking space for a car is also available. The apartment consists of a large living room, a well-equipped kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom and a separate toilet. The apartment met the description, was very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The management agent was very cooperative. The hand-over of the keys worked perfectly. When we asked for the coffee machine, which was actually missing, they managed to get it to us the same day.
The location of the apartment is perfect. From the balcony (which is on the sunny side in the morning) one has a beautiful view over the bay on Villefranche-sur-Mer, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, and Cap Ferrat. 10 minutes walking distance to the centre of Villefranche with grocery’s shops, bakery and a number of good restaurants (our absolute favorite was L’Aparté in Rue Obscure). A larger supermarket (Carrefour) is located in the direction of Nice about 2 km from the apartment.
The apartment can also be recommended for guests without a car. Buses go frequently, the bus stop is just a few steps away from the residence. Bus No. 100 connects to the bus terminal in Nice, from where the airport and many other places can be easily reached.
I would recommend this apartment to friends or relatives without hesitation.
As I have been in Villefranche before I had some knowledge of the location. For new guests I recommended the owner to put a written information in the apartment giving some information about the nearest supermarket, bakery, and other shopping possibilities, and, maybe, some restaurants.
What was actually missing, but not a severe problem, was an information about the most important things to know about the equipment of the apartment: the garbage chute, how to operate the washing machine and the dish washer etc. But this is a minor point aside that can be easily improved.
