SOPHISTICATED PROPERTY WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF MOUGINS VILLAGE. .Les Moines is a stunning and luxurious property in what used to be an old monastery before becoming a hotel and is now one of five luxury residences, all with their own private pool and gardens. It has been completely renovated to a very high standard both inside and out boasting incredible sea views of the Bay of Cannes and beyond. For those wishing to stay in luxurious accommodation and just 300 metres walk from the famous Mougins village with its many restaurants and cafes, then this is the property for you.
Accommodation in this charming historic residence comprises of five bedrooms to sleep up to 10 people with three in the the main house, one double located by the salt water pool and the other double below the terrace. The property is fully air-conditioned, with underfloor heating and has four bathrooms, three of which are en-suite.
Les Moines has its own secure gated entrance with parking for two cars and additional parking located outside the property for a further two cars. Although being part of a larger property, it is very private. The garden is enclosed and terraced with mature shrubs and plants.
The main entrance is through large iron doors into a library with a breakfast table. This leads into a fully equipped galley kitchen. The living/dining room is light and full of character with high ceilings, large french windows, a stone open fireplace and underfloor heating throughout. There is an extendable dining table and plenty of comfortable sofas and armchairs. The master bedroom suite is located on the ground floor with two further bedrooms on the garden level below. In addition there is a separate laundry room, guest cloakroom and study with access to the terraces all with sea views.
A large vine covered terrace at the side of the house provides welcome shade and is a great area for entertaining as there is a large dining table for a group of up to 10, along with a comfortable seating area (sofa and four armchairs) and sun loungers. A further dining area at the front of the property, also with sun loungers, provides a quieter area for relaxing, although there is a lower terrace with a ping pong table and table football.
Les Moines is ideally suitable for a family with older children or a group of friends who wish to enjoy the views and the ambience of staying in a luxurious, historic and very well equipped home that is walkable to a fantastic village.
