Needs some updating. Sink was falling apart.Toilet was very low to get up and down

Not impressed, maybe with some updates it would feel like a nicer place.

It’s a great location, and having the restaurant just opening up right next to your will help business. But updating to the hotel needs to be done.

This is the second time we’ve been there, the first time was a bit chaotic as well. The plumbing in the rooms suck.. things need to be updated, there was mold in the bathroom shower that has literally been painted over. Just wasn’t impressed. It felt gross being there. It’s a great location right on the water, but it NEEDS updating.

I will not return

No breakfast was offered. Location of the inn was fine but we were put in the apartments across street w no way to call desk w out walking over. I can say the apt was very clean.

TV didn't work and no sheets for futon. I reserved 2 queen beds and got 1 queen and a futon. I asked at desk across street to help and neither Richard or Terri helped stating they don't deal w the Apts. Well who does if it your hotel I booked w and paid $250/NIGHT!

Staff was pleasant. Nice location

Bathroom needs repairs. Loose tiolet seat sliding side to side. I tighten the seat up. Tiolet needs to be tighten to floor better, it rocked. Ceiling tiles in bathroom stained

It was clean and bed was comfy! It served my purposes. It would be really great if there were no buildings blocking the lake view!!! Not going to happen, though. It was quiet, so that was a bonus too.

Superb

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Friendly atmosphere and beautiful location! The staff were helpful and super kind. The beds were so comfortable! We will be staying there again when we head up to snowmobile.

Wonderful place to base your stay in the area.

Reasonable price, clean, friendly staff, great location, quiet.

Not a complaint so much as an observation… Why build on the lake and not have any rooms with a lane view. Great design but poor placement.

room was decent size,

overpriced for not even having a microwave in the room. the staff called the cops saying we were smoking weed then the cops came I opened the door and they bashed it into me and tackled me with their guns out saying I had a warrant they falsely arrested me and didn’t even ask if we were smoking and didn’t look for anything

Loved the location got to see a beautiful sunset and sunrise.

I paid with cc and booking said the cost was going to be $88.48 but instead was charged $120.41. Feel like a switch and bait. Was not worth the added cost with no breakfast, pool or anything to justify additional cost. Might be the last time I use booking or Washburn again.

When I travel again, I will call the hotel directly to ask if the laundry soap is free and clear.

Friendly staff, good location. Room overall good.

The fragrance and perfume from the laundry soap made sleeping unbearable. Same with the towels and wash cloths. I mentioned it as I checked out. I believe Gain is the brand detergent used, and it is NOT free and clear. It kept me awake and with a headache. Or it was the dryer sheets?? I would never stay there again without guarantee that a free and clear detergent is used. Research will confirm that the above is also harmful to one's health. There are several safe and economical brands to choose from. A light breakfast or bottle of water helps make the stay better.

A comfortable motel

The motel was in a good location for our visit to the Apostle Islands. Good brewery (South Shore) and diner (Time out) nearby.

Everything fine. A shame they didn’t do breakfast at the motel, but the neighbourhood diner‘s breakfast was really good.
