A Very clean appartment and with the most sweet and gently host couple - Laura and Christophe. The location is perfect - in the middel of Ribeauville but still in a quiet area. We willsure come back

Very nice appartment in the heart of Ribeauville. Very well equipped. In the safe hands of Laura and Christoph we had a wonderful stay.

Super lejlighed i hjertet af Ribeauvillé. Bedre beliggenhed fås ikke. Dejlig lejlighed med masser af plads og hvad man måtte have brug for. Laura er et kapitel for sig. Ubeskrivelig venlig, informativ og hjælpende. Kan klart anbefale og håber at kommer igen.

We spent an entire month at Gite 1513 and can report the experience was simply wonderful. Since we stayed for such a long time, I am writing a longer review. The welcome and assistance of Laura and Christophe may have been the high-point, and we learned to treasure their friendship and assistance in navigating Ribeauvillé and the region. As others have noted, the gite is centrally located, with great restaurants, bakeries, and other shops just steps away. But, tucked back on a quiet alley, we were removed from the bustle of “Ribeau’s” Grand Rue. The view of the vineyards across the way, and the partial view of Castle Saint Ulrich, made every experience on our terrace very special. The kitchen is well equipped, and we made good use of all of its essentially as we cooked and sampled local products from the village market and especially, the poissonnerie! We enjoyed local wineries as well, esp. Xavier Wymann, and never tired of early morning and late evening strolls through the town. The bedrooms are spacious, well-equipped, and quiet (except for the pesky frog); and having two full-bathrooms was a treat. We had guests during our stay, and it was easy to accommodate 4 or more in the gite. I will say the construction of the home seemed impressive, drawing on the footprint of a 500 year old structure, and adding many modern features; the lighting was especially good throughout the apartment. There is a washing machine, but no dryer—however the small clothes drying rack provided in the gite (along with an ironing board and iron) made doing laundry fairly convenient. On more than one occasion, we said to each other… the owners seem to have thought of everything. We would return in a minute!

Quoi dire de plus, christophe et Laura sont adorables, accueillants, de bons conseils et disponibles. La location est parfaite décoré avec goût on s’y sent comme chez soi tout est propre et en très bon état. Situé en plein cœur de la ville. une découverte très sympathique de la région et une jolie rencontre avec des hôtes chaleureux certainement a une prochaine fois en période plus douce😊 On vous embrasse Laëtitia et Jérome

Die Ferienwohnung liegt in der Altstadt von Ribeauville. Vom Vermieter liegt eine detaillierte Anfahrtsbeschreibung vor mit der man das Objekt problemlos erreicht. Wir wurden sehr nett vom Eigentümer empfangen. Die Wohnung ist angenehm groß und bietet alle Vorzüge. Sie ist komplett eingerichtet, hat zwei Bäder und zwei Schlafzimmer. In der Küche fehlt es an nichts. Wir werden sicherlich nochmal hier buchen.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment which is just a 2 minute stroll into the beautiful village. The hosts Laura and Christophe couldn't be more helpfull. We arrived as clients and departed as friends.

Très bon accueil, indications d'arrivée très claires, l'appartement est grand, et entièrement équipé, et tout s'est bien passé. La situation dans Ribeauvillé est excellente, au cœur de la vieille ville dans les petites ruelles. Et Ribeauvillé est idéalement située, au pied des Vosges, proche de Riquewihr, de Colmar et de Sélestat, il y a beaucoup à faire, dont la randonnée des 3 châteaux à faire à pied.

Caché au fond d'une impasse pittoresque,ce gîte ne vous laissera pas indifférent que ça soit pour sa localisation au coeur même de Ribeauvillé ou bien son charme alsacien!La belle décoration cosy accentue la chaleur de ce gîte. Uns hat es unheimlich gut in dieser Ferienwohnung gefallen. Sie war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und unsere Gastgeber sehr herzlich. Die Lage war ideal als Ausgangspunkt zum Wandern, Bummeln oder für Ausflüge. Alles war rundum perfekt - bis auf das Wetter mnachmal ;-)

I generally try to report at least some small flaw or inconvenience in my HomeAway reviews--both to inform potential clients and to justify a five-star review. In the case of this property, however, I am at a loss to point out any disappointments. Laura and Christophe are charming and efficient hosts, the apartment is spacious, clean, ideally located and very comfortable; and the village of Ribeauville is right out of a postcard--not too big or touristy like some towns in Alsace. In particular, the kitchen is large and well-equipped and the second bathroom (esp traveling with kids) is a god-send! L&C know the town and region intimately: take their advice on restaurants: we especially enjoyed a special six-course dinner at Auberge du Parc Carola (a bargain splurge at €66). OK, here is my petty squabble: parking is a bit of a challenge (but you came to Alsace for the charming little streets, right?). In short, my highest recommendation for an exceptional experience with these gracious hosts in their warm and comforatble home.

Just the two of us so the property was way too big but we enjoyed the terrace, location, cleanliness and amenities. Also in the middle of this charming village and parking right outside your door, first rate *****

Location was fantastic, easy to walk all over town. Very spacious and comfortable apartment with big kitchen table. Very nice restaurants short walk away. Convenient grocery store. Christophe was extremely nice and helpful, and always smiling.

We stayed in Laura and Christophe’s apartment and had a wonderful week long visit. The apartment is so well appointed and cozy. It has everything for your stay. The owners have so much love for the area and are very helpful in providing information on things to do and places to visit. We will return!

My wife, 2 teenage daughters (19 and 17) and I stayed here for 5 nights. This home was perfect for us. The owners, Laura and Christophe warmly welcomed us and walked us through the home. It was large, immaculately clean, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware. There is a balcony with a table, which was perfect for eating dinner and having coffee in the morning. It was very nice to have two full bathrooms. The location was great — this is such a special village. We highly recommend this home, and plan to return here ourselves.

Wir haben drei Wochen in diesem liebevoll renovierten Fachwerkhaus verbracht. Das Haus befindet sich in einer ruhigen Sackgasse im Zentrum. Nur 5 Minuten zum Bäcker. Es fehlte uns in dem Haus an nichts, die Ausstattung läßt keine Wünsche offen. Laura und Christoph sind wundervolle Gastgeber. Sie sind jederzeit für einen da, geben tolle, hilfreiche Tips und sind dabei aber nie aufdringlich. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden bestimmt wieder kommen. Das Objekt hat mehr als 5 Sterne verdient! (PS: Danke Christoph für Deine Weinempfehlung!)

It was a wonderful experience living in this comfortable cottage and feeling for a time residents of this lovely historical village. The landlords thought of everything one needed for a worry free stay. The kitchen is so well equipped. Laura’s whimsical decorating touches made for a warm and positive vibe. The landlords provided a wealth of information on the village and the area. Christophe even checked the oil in our rental car when the warning light came on. It was truly the best Home Away experience we have had.

We so enjoyed our stay at 1513! Our hosts, Kristof and Laura, were welcoming and made us feel at home and comfortable! The house was specious enough for our large family, decorated beautifully, and a great location to explore the charming city of Ribeauville. We will be back to visit again someday!

This two bedroom gite is located within the old walls of the medieval Alsace town of Ribeauville. Renovated and brought onto the market only three years ago, the exterior was restored to match the neighboring homes, but the interior is all new. Interior is very comfortable, well decorated and extremely clean, complete with own dishwasher, washing machine and modern heating. The rental reflects the tastes of the owners Laura and Christophe who live in the adjoined home. One could not ask for more genuinely hospital warm and friendly hosts. They are available for questions, suggestions and to help you enjoy the local Alsace culture of adventure, food and wine. They might just invite you over for a bottle of local Alsace cremant (sparkling wine)! We wanted a rental from which we could walk into town - 2 minutes for our door (10 into the vineyards). We wanted a rental to teach our kids about history - this was built in 1513 and is part of the old town ramparts. And as in all our travels, we looked to connect with locals to better understand culture in which they live. Thank you Laura & Christophe, you helped make our 2018 Christmas exceptionally memorable and one we will cherish for a long long time.

Such a wonderful property and beautiful. The hosts are very helpful, even drove us to the next town for the day!! The apartment is just steps from old town. No need for a car for anything! Apartment has everything you would need!. We would stay there again and again!

This property looks exactly like the photos posted on the HomeAway website. Laura has put her heart and soul into decorating this home; incorporating bright colors and comfy furniture. The bathrooms were comfortable for my husband who is 6ft 5, towels were luxurious the beds were comfortable, fans were available for each bedroom making for a good nights sleep. Location perfect. Christophe took time to take us to a local vintner for wine tasting and introduced us to a patisserie owner who had at one time lived in the US. We hope to return someday.
