We are a family of 6 adults & this was our 2nd stay at Christina's lake house. It was just as great as the 1st time. We love the house, very clean, comfortable, well stocked - Christina thought of everything you might need. We spent hours down by & in the lake. We were lucky that we had no rain & were able to swim, kayak & paddle board every day. Christina told us about the lake's bald eagle. While out on the water, we came upon the eagle high up in one of the trees. We were able to take pictures without disturbing it. That was a sight to see. On early Wednesday evening we could hear a band playing from our patio. It's called "Live at the Lake" & we enjoyed listening to the music.
It was a great week for us & it went by quickly - we hated it to end.
Thank you again Christina!

Comfortable lakeside property with beautiful views. Young and old enjoyed kayaking & canoeing in the lake. The kids loved fishing off the pier. They took turns setting up the fire in the fire pit. Our ages ranged from 7 to 66. There was plenty of room for all of us. This was the best stocked kitchen I have stayed at. Never ran out of paper goods. We all loved the hammock. We all enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.

Beautiful and peaceful place. Lovely house. The communication with Christina was A+. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a grocery store "Big Y" very close. The beds were great. We wanted to spend time with family during the New Year, but we will definitely come back for a summer vacation. Happy 2024!!!

Best place ever! Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, but close enough to shopping, the private grounds are beautiful. There are so many things for guests to do, inside and outside. Everything is so clean. The house is spotless and has everything you need. The host was very accommodating and attentive to our questions. I would highly recommend this property

Beautiful lake front house that was stocked with everything you would need. All the rooms were decorated very thoughtfully - it made you feel welcome. We had great weather starting on the Labor Day weekend. The window A/C & fans were definitely needed as the temps were in the high 80's & low 90'. It made the lake & small private beach area all the more inviting. The water was very clear & we had it all to ourselves. So easy to walk into the water - we swam, floated, kayaked & paddled boarded. We had our lunches at the patio table & dinners in the dining room, both with great views of the water. This was a great time for all of us. Thank you Christina.

The property is wonderful. First off there is a LARGE lawn, 2 canoes and at least 4 kayaks (and a paddle board) including one 2 person. The lake is really scenic and big and NOT swarming with motor boats like other lakes in the area. The water in clean and clear. Quiet neighbors and not too close to each other. There's also a dock on the property where some of us went fishing. There's a small sandy entrance to the lake right on the property which was wonderful for the little ones.House is very roomy, modern in appliances and the "look" and also very. comfortable, with lots of nice and thoughtful touches. Tons of DVDs, books, modern TV and very good streaming options. There is even a den with lots of kids' toys, books and another TV .Owner went above and beyond in many ways, including having first aid- bandages and topical meds. THere's a nice little playground on the lawn and a high quality grill also, that we used a fair bit. Every bedroom has a modern a/c unit. The beds are very comfortable and there's tons of towels etc. Good sized fridge. Big Y is just a few minutes away and a there's a nice variety of take in restaurants close by. The town itself is close by and on rainy days we found lots to do. Shaker village is very interesting to see and there's a multiplex small cinema that is very comfortable and shows the latest films for those rainy days. Owner was very accessible and always answered promptly. Also gave us other seasonal suggestions. Try it, you'll like it!

We had a wonderful vacation week with family! This house has it all - easy lake access, big yard, fire pit and enough room for family dinners and games!

We stayed at Christina's property with grandparents, parents and kids. The property is large with plenty of access to the water. The kids loved being able to fish from two different docks and caught (and released) many fish. We kayaked out into the lake and enjoyed going around the "island" many times. The property is tucked away but still close to downtown and a good springing off point. We visited the Museum of the Berkshires on a rainy day, Great Barrington for a morning trip and Shire Brew Haus in the neighboring town but really, we didn't even feel the need to leave the property at all.
The house is very well appointed - it is welcoming and cozy. We could imagine curling up around the fire place during the winter. Everyone had their own space and there was plenty of communal space. The kitchen had everything we could need. The house came with kayaks, canoes and life jackets. Anything we could think of the house included which was really helpful.
The pictures do not do this property justice. It is a beautiful spot and we would definitely return.

Christina's place was clean and very comfortable for our 3 families to enjoy a nice winter getaway. Our kids enjoyed the bunkbeds and all the games that came stocked in the house. Christina was very accommodating and communicative throughout our stay. We arrived during a snowstorm and lost power very briefly. It was not a problem since the house was stocked with flashlights and the driveway was plowed by 8am the following morning. We hope to return again!

We really enjoyed our stay. Christina was kind and responsive throughout our stay. The house was great, with ample bedrooms/beds so everyone in our group could have privacy. The house was also great for the two little ones (one and two years old). Beautiful lake and we enjoyed hiking in the Pittsfield State forest and snowboarding at Bousquet Mountain right nearby! Thanks so much!

We had a wonderful family vacation at the lake! We enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding and camp fires! The yard was plenty big to keep our 4, 5 and 7 year olds entertained with games. House was spacious enough for 3 families and conventionally located near grocery stores. We even tried a few breweries in the area. We would stay here again in a minute!

Lovely spot with great water views
We visited for Presidents’ Day Weekend with another family - four adults and three teenagers in all - and had a terrific time. The house is comfortable and well-appointed. We especially enjoyed playing games at the dining table with a snowy lake out the large picture windows and a cozy fire burning behind us in the living room. Would stay again for sure.

Homey lake house retreat in the Berkshires
Had a wonderful stay at this spacious and cozy house with 6 family members. It is roomy and would comfortably fit and sleep 11. We quickly felt at home cooking, playing board games, and watching some playoff NFL games. Warm with a central fireplace, tucked in besides a lake. We had some very cold weather, but that didn't detract from our experience. We went tubing one day and skiing another at nearby Bosquet mountain. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks Christina!

Simply beautiful!
The house is gorgeous as pictured but no picture can truly depict the views of the lake! our three families gathered there for our annual Thanksgiving trip and we had a blast. Everything is just right! the kitchen is fully stocked, there is plenty of seating, the fireplace is a huge bonus and the firepit and row boat were a hit with the guys and the kids!! we had an amazing holiday weekend and even got to enjoy the first snow fall of the year :) Thank you!
