Pleasant cottage conveniently located.

The property was clean and very conveniently located within walking distance to town and the beach. The property was comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment and the inclusion of sugar, tea bags, oil, salt, etc. was a nice touch. The beds were comfortable, and more bedding was available if needed. There wasn't room to park outside the property. However, there was room to drop off, and the carpark wasn't far away, and it always had room whilst we were there, so we didn't have any issues with parking. Island homes were quick to reply to any messages that we sent them, and their communication throughout the booking/holiday was excellent.

One of the main issues for us was that the floor coverings upstairs were laminate. This meant that every sound our 3 little people made upstairs was amplified, and it made us concerned about the noise for the neighbours. Perhaps a rug in the children's bedroom would help absorb some of the sound?The fire doors needed to be in the cottage but they slammed loudly - again, not so big a problem if you are adults, but it's trickier to manage if you have children. As the front door had a tendency to stick, we used the side door to the property rather than the front. Not major issues - and easily fixable, but one of the lights in the main bedroom flickered, and the double socket next to the wardrobe was loose.

We had a good time, weather could have been better during our stay but we got to see the Needles!

The seaview was great, the kitchen was well equipped. Whole cottage very clean and modern.

nothing to not like about the property just we thought the price was a little too much in comparison to other holiday let’s I’m sage area which we later discovered.

Good. Garden great view and quiet.

Parking to empty car was very hard, parked in the free carpark but steep steps made it difficult to get car repacked when leaving (no room on the street). Could not get outside lights working. Clothes storage abysmal, 1 ladies clothes for 2 weeks took all the space.

Pebble Cottage needs love

The view

Barren. Clinical. Nothing to make it homely. No pictures, no ornaments. Outside seating area is barren, needs pots and lighting. Pebble Cottage, for its location and view is barren and soulless.

Good

Property was very clean. Location convenient for the coastal path.

Property lacked any side lamps. There was no storage space in the second bedroom. Parking near the property was difficult.

Lovely week away on the Isle of Wight coast.

Good location. Nice little back garden with a sea view

Make sure you book ahead to eat out, many cafes and restaurants were closed
