Just like Nana’s house
We really enjoyed staying here. The layout and rooms of the house took me back to my grandmother’s house. The bathroom was more modern.

Brilliant!
Having been to many places both here and in other states, this has been the most outstanding so far!
Great shower, comfy warm beds & every kitchen utensil you could possibly need!
Most importantly - plenty of milk, sugar & coffee to get the day off to a good start!
Hats off to Jenny who has smashed my expectations of what this industry should be striving for waay out the park!

We could get cool on a hot night by opening up the house to catch a breeze, or by shutting the front of the house and keeping the air conditioner on. We had everything we needed as a base to spend a couple of days in the Riverland.

Everything about it was great particularly if you appreciate a little history. The cottage has been beautifully restored and transformed with its interesting historical facets retained. You can walk to everything & the garden is green & very private. The owners frequent but unobtrusive contact was appreciated and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be staying here again & I would recommend the versatility of Bessies to anyone seeking accommodation in Morgan!

Old world charm oozed from every corner.
We loved the ageless character of the home and the fireplace made the evenings most enjoyable and very cosy. The period furniture added to the ambiance of the home especially the kitchen with the old wood stove and stone floor.
For a couple of days we lost ourselves.

One of the wonderful things about Bessies' was it's welcoming atmoshpere. It was like staying at the well loved home of your Grandparents. You felt instantly comfortable and at home but still with that touch of indulgence that you look for in a stay like this. The little touches like fresh homemade bread, jams and treats addded to the feel.
