This recently renovated three bedroom cottage is a short stroll to North Avalon beach where guests have access to a world famous surf break, rock and beach fishing and ocean pool. Take a leisurely morning stroll along the beach and start the day with an awe inspiring sunrise.
The home is neat and clean comprising a large open plan living area. There are three bedrooms, a new bathroom and laundry. The living area features spotted gum timber floors, gorgeous timber and leather furniture and pool table.
The bedrooms have a fun, beachy feel and can sleep up to seven guests. The main bedroom has a queen bed. The new second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has bunk beds plus a single bed.
The home is located in the quite residential enclave of North Avalon.
Avalon Beach Retreat is a short 10 minute level walk to Avalon village for cafes, restaurants, cinema and shops.
Avalon Beach Retreat is one of two houses on a large subdivided block. Both are completely separate and fenced and have their own entrances on opposite sides of the property and gardens. It's no different to having neighbours on the side except its quieter because you are away from the road. Only the parking area at the front of the property is shared. I live in the house at the front of the block.

Well-presented property with quality appliances and ample supply of cutlery, crockery, consumables, board games and novels. Everything to make an extended stay comfortable. The pool table was a hit with the grandchildren. The box of chocolates on arrival was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Would have loved an ensuite.

A fantastic little spot near beautiful Avalon. A beautiful large space perfect for getting together with family and enjoying good company. Paired with a beautiful little garden sanctuary where you can soak up the sun or let the kids play safely chasing butterflies and picking flowers. Friendly hosts who were super accomodating and welcoming. Avalon itself is a short walk along a nice path to shops, cafes and restaurants.

Perfect for the weekend we planned
Great location for what we needed. We staying in a couple of stayz houses for our wedding. This house was perfect for the boys to stay in the night before the wedding and get ready in. The pool table was great for them. It had everything they needed and because it was close to our other accommodation we could easily meet up and walk around.
It helped us plan the best weekend for our bridal party!!!

Hosts Helen and David were extremely welcoming and friendly. Accommodation all we could ask for. Very clean, comfortable, everything we needed for our short stay was there. Well worth the travel from Melbourne for the weekend. Would certainly stay there again, and would certainly recommend to friends family etc.

Perfect stay
We stayed at this beautiful accommodation to attend a wedding in the area. It was perfect for our needs. An ideal retreat for couples or a family group. It is pet friendly with a lovely garden area, in a quiet location with a two minute walk to beach. Spotlessly clean, with everything you could want for the perfect getaway. Made all the more enjoyable because of the thoughtfulness of our hosts.

Surf trip
We had a fantastic time exploring all the local beaches and their surf. Avalon was a barefoot walk away, we also explored Palm beach, Newport and Collaroy. The garden was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the afternoon sun. We also had pool championship most evenings - we’d love to return and do it all over again

Perfect break from the city
It was the perfect place for a break from the city - a lovely space, really uncluttered and light, but not lacking in character. It was spotlessly clean and in greta location so close to North Avalon beach. We spent the evenings watching surfers and dolphins, and enjoyed some of the great dining options nearby in Palm Beach. I would thoroughly recommend and I would definitely go back. Wonderful.

Ideal family beach getaway
The house was ideal for our short stay: very close to the beach and in its own secluded location at the rear of the property.
David was extremely helpful and attentive with check in and any questions. The house was spotlessly clean and well equipped.

Spacious and comfortable beach house.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lovely Avalon Beach Retreat. Light and airy a peaceful house with a very short walk to the surf beach and clean tidal pool. A lovely tropical scented gardens to sit and relax in. Cafes, restaurants and shops are also within a pleasant walking distance. All creature comforts are supplied, and thanks David for the chocolates they were a nice welcome.

Clean spacious and well ecquipped retreat footsteps to the beach and leisurely walk to Avalon village . We also enjoyed warm sunny days and cooler evenings and all the amenities were provided for whatever weather conditions prevailed . Ie fans , extra duvets,ventilation BBQ and sunny terrace and a billiard table. ... and still no clutter everything clean, clear and simple.

Amazing place to stay
Avalon Beach Retreat is an amazing place to stay for just a weekend or a longer visit. The layout of the property was fabulous with all rooms off the main area. We stayed for a wedding in the area and loved how the family could enjoy the area and place. Pool table to in the open plan living area was a great idea. Would recommend to anyone wanting a weekend away. Thankyou David for a wonderful experience.

Great spot for a family holiday
We spent 7 nights at this property including Christmas and Boxing Day 2018. We had all we needed to enjoy a great time and the fine weather was a bonus. The beach is very close and anything you may need (if it is not provided by David) then you can find it in the shopping centre which is a short walk away so the car can stay in the off street parking spot. Cafes and restaurants in walking distance are an added bonus. As you would expect this was a busy time of the year and even though there was some noise from neighbouring properties it did not hinder our enjoyment of this wonderful spot. I would recommend Avalon Beach Retreat to any of my friends. Thanks for the great holiday

Avalon Beach Retreat
We all enjoyed our stay at the Avalon Beach Retreat! David was so accommodating right from the start and replied to emails straight away.The house was spacious and had everything we needed (and things we didn't - which just really was an added bonus). It felt like our own home. (However, we couldn't find a tea pot and strainer, but we managed).
The pool table was great and given the open plan style, wasn't in the way.
So close to Avalon Beach and the shops within walking distance was so handy.
