Snowmass- clean/updated unit perfect for getaway
We traveled to Snowmass for a quick Overnight getaway with my husband, 2 kids, brother in law and father in law. The accommodations were perfect for our group. The place felt very clean and well taken care of. My only qualm was having to go downstairs to a super dark stairwell to access the unit. However, it was still a perfect stay

Our extended family of 6 stayed in this condo for 1 week in March. The location is convenient and the spa and restaurant were very nice amenities. The condo was dated and extremely tight quarters. The main room houses the kitchen and living/ dining/tv area. The kitchen was very small with a large counter/bar separating it from the other spaces. The space for the dining table was really comical. It was almost impossible to squeeze behind the chairs to reach your seat when the chairs were empty, and absolutely impossible if a person was sitting in the chair, so everyone had to get up and get out of the way in order for the other to take a seat. The other side of the table was so close to the wall that you had to snake your way onto the chair. The photo makes things look larger due to a mirror covered wall. There is about a foot of space between the bar stools and the back of the sofa, so if someone is on the the stools there is no space to maneuver through that area either. We never all sat and watched the basketball tournament as we had envisioned because the sofa was the only comfortable seating in the living area. The kids normally would have camped out on the floor, but there is no floor space for that either. There are 2 very formal and uninviting small armless chairs that require perching and another chair that is small, ancient and sinks down almost to the floor. The master bedroom is fairly spacious and comfortable but the other two bedrooms are teeny tiny. The room my son and his wife took, was all bed---no room for a dresser. The kids room was also very small, but could have worked if the main room would have been adequate. The master bath shower has been redone but the other bath was unbelievably small and needed to be freshened up at the very least.
This condo is perfect for a few guys to use as a base for skiing and nights out on the town, but not good for a family that wants to relax together after a hard day of skiing. The other difficulty is that there is no washer and dryer in the unit. This is the first time we have rented a place where we had to trudge down to the laundry room and put money in the machine.
