THE GUANACASTE PROVINCE:
Mention Costa Rica and people think paradise!
Costa Rica is famous: its natural beauty, the warmth of its people, and its steadfast commitment to preserving what makes it so special.
Villa Palombia is located in the Province of Guanacaste and the Nicoya Peninsula, on the Northwest Pacific coastal region of the country, perhaps Costa Rica’s most beautiful province. Over 630 miles of shoreline, white sandy beaches and temperate waters draw surfers from around the world. In its rainforests, travellers are captivated by the province’s variety of plant life, microclimates and abundant wildlife.
The incredibly varied topography means you can be exploring a tropical forest one day, climbing a volcano the next and finishing up relaxing on a hot sandy beach.
In the heart of Guanacaste is the seaside town of Flamingo, a small town that has been known for decades to sophisticated travellers as the embodiment of Pura Vida or the Pure Life.

The villa was amazing! We had 9 people and we all fit comfortably. The pool was great, the private beach was one of a kind, and the views were breathtaking. We couldn’t recommend this place enough!

What a great place to stay! The house is fantastic. Lots of room for our group of 6. The view is just amazing of the Pacific Ocean. Beds are comfortable and the air conditioning works great. Paul and Ana will take care of all your needs. The beach area is down a lot of rock stairs but is worth the effort to have your own beach to swim and explore. House is just as advertised...wonderful stay.

We stayed here January 6-16, 2023. The house is as described and for our group the three floor living space was perfect. Two smaller bedrooms each with a bathroom and shared terrace on the third floor, principle bedroom with en suite on the main floor which also has a large living and dining space, a bathroom and a small kitchen. Two bedrooms, each with bathrooms, separated by a living area downstairs. The gems of this house are the beautiful view from the three levels of terraces (complete with chatty parrot flybys) and particularly the “private” pocket beach. The beach is accessed by about 100 irregular steps (entirely doable for anyone without mobility problems). It has sun and shade and a lovely breeze and is accessible except at high tide. The house is on a hill but is walkable to and from Playa Flamingo where the sunsets are fabulous (sunsets are not visible from the house). The caretakers, Ana and Juan, were very attentive and, as one of our party speaks Spanish, communication was never an issue. For us, the only downside to this property was that the pool was not heated. As it also gets little sun it was quite chilly - even by our northern standards! That said, we all really enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful Piece of Paradise
Fantastic property with access to a private beach and lovely verandas with a fantastic, isolated view. Juan and Ana are a fantastic duo, very supportive and competent. Highly recommended.

Birthday Trip
This house was beautiful! We had 5 couples total and everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom!! The view was stunning and the private beach was gorgeous and peaceful. The location was perfect... close to everything, but away from the hustle and bustle. We rented golf carts for the week which made getting around super easy. The staff, Ana and Juan, were simply amazing!! Ana cooked a couple meals for all of us that were out of this world delicious! She made sure the house was clean and we had everything we needed daily. She even went to the grocery store for us!!! We all wanted to take her home with us!! Juan made sure the grounds and pool were spic and span for us each day. He made sure our golf carts were charged and secure at night.
All of the experiences here sure made it hard to leave!!
