Pros and Cons

Central location good. Apartment itself good. Availability of secure parking.

Booking process onerous, having to supply photo of self with ID. Photograph of credit card, even though had paid. Process did not feel comfortable. If we hadn't already paid would have backed out. Also not being familiar with Auckland difficult to find parking area.

Very good

The jug didn’t work so had to boil water on the stove. The room smelt like Mcdonalds Pickles, not necessarily a bad thing. Some of the dishes had food still stuck to them.

It was clean, tidy, easy to manage and the appliances Was everything u need. Other than the actual oven not working. It was a great apartment with great location.

Your oven is from the 70s and so is your dishwasher. Your bed sheets are made of plastic as well. U need a fitted sheet at the very least

Once all the prerequisites were met, the stay was acceptable - it would be better without a vehicle

That the room had a bed, warm shower and the facilities required for staying over

The amount of information required prior to receiving check in information and the difficulty to find keys and garage and the 12 page document required to know what to do

Ideal apartment at good location

Apartment is located in a good location in the CBD, food, shops and public transport. The apartment is clean and has amenities that you will need. Tastefully designed and the host response very quickly to questions.

Wonderful clean apartment, fastest Wifi we've ever used, great location!

Knowing that the lockbox actually had a plastic cover that needed to be opened first would have helped speed up the process. Didn't have the instructions to exit the building from the carpark basement so had to have my wife walk right around the outside of the building to activate the key sensor from the outside.

First trip to Auckland.

The location is wonderful, just a short walk to the centre of town and china town and yummy food. The bedroom is in the middle of the apartment very quiet and very dark excellent for a sleep in. Having a coffee machine such a nice touch. Having the parking spot was so much easier as we came and went on our travels looking around Auckland and beyond. We would recommend this Apartment for sure.

A clothes horse would be wonderful, not all clothes go in the dryer.

Misleading information!

It is a nice (though a bit noisy) apartment in a central location indeed ...

... but there were some misunderstandings (intended by the owners of the apartment?). Only when you have booked the accomodation, you realize it is an Airbnb apartment with no one present, no reception, you cannot leave luggage and you cannot park a car, as there is no "carpark" but a parking space where you put your vehicle while checked in. When I asked about parking by email two days before arrival I did not even receive an answer! Check-in is a complicated procedure picking up a key from a box at a different (but nearby) location. And one more thing: once you have booked (no cancellation possible any more), you have to fill out a form with many personal details and send scans (!) of you credit card, that makes it open to misuse. Maximum security for the owner, but no protection for the client! Disappointed! By misleading Information and being forced into unwanted prodedures!
