About this house rental
Get away to a delightful house with an ocean view near Todos Santos, Baja California. Todos Santos is a culturally-rich community with many wonderful restaurants, art galleries, shops and friendly people. A swimming beach is a short car-drive away, and miles of beach, suitable for exhilarating walks, sunbathing, beach-combing and horseback riding, are a short five minute walk from the front door.
Casa Jacinta is comfortable and homey. The house, built by a local architect, is a mix of modern and traditional Mexican styles. It features an artisan palapa that spans the living room and loft, first and second story outdoor living spaces, and is pleasant year-round due to ocean breezes and lots of desert light.
We strongly recommend that you rent a car with good clearance when staying at Casa Jacinta. The house is two miles north of town, and swimming beaches, some off rutted dirt roads, are a short drive south of town. There is limited public transportation in the area. Please feel free to email us with any questions. We love this house and enjoy sharing

Just a perfect home in a great location. Highly recommended!

A great property in a nice community. Was a short walk to the beautiful beach where the whales were everywhere! Also we were able to participate with the baby turtle releases every evening as the turtle sanctuary is right on that beach. You do need a car because the town is about a 5-10 minute drive. We had a fun time. Thank you.

Beautiful house. When I needed something I got a response right away to resolve it. I will go back to this house. I loved it so much. We walked every day to the beach and watched whales and also there was lots of release of turtles.

Casa Jacinta is a gem
This was the third year in a row that my wife and I spent at Casa Jacinta and it couldn’t have been more wonderful. The home is a stone’s throw from the beach, it’s well landscaped, has ocean views from the rooftop deck, and it’s just plain serene. I highly recommend a stay there.

Couldn't be better
Casa Jacinta in Todos Santos was the ideal space for a couple to spend a relaxing encounter with Baja. This home has plentiful indoor and outdoor spaces for dining, and I look at my pictures now wistfully, romantically. Well equipped kitchen (guests leave behind spices -- we left honey and olive oil)... You can hear the ocean all night from the bedroom. Did I say it couldn't be better?

Great property!
We had a great stay, the house suited us perfectly. It was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped for cooking at home. We were there in April and surprised at the climate and how cool the house was, no A/C required due to the great Ocean breezes through the house. Lovely desert garden around the house that was well maintained. Great beach, very quiet within walking distance. Car required to get into Todos Santos and local grocery store etc but well worth it, Todos Santos is a lovely town with great restaurants, galleries etc. Had great fun exploring some of the lovely local beaches suggested by Carol and bought wonderful fresh fish off the local fisherman off the beach at Puerto Lobos. All in all a great vacation!

Wonderful Accommodation and Location!
Spent at week in December at Casa Jacinto. Property was as advertised and more. Clean and well equipped all around. Quiet and peaceful. Could hear the surf breaking which made for great sleeping environment. Watched whales breaching and slapping their tails from roof top deck during sunny afternoons. Short walk to a beautiful and lonely beach. Location is short drive in to town center, maybe 2 miles. Spent our mornings often at La Esquina, less than 1 mile away, having excellent morning coffees...and sometimes an afternoon cervasas and chips. We also enjoyed walking the town galleries, shops, and eateries. Went to El Pescadore for a good organic market on right before entering town. They had tasty cinnamon rolls too. All in all it was a very low-keyed and restful vacation. Would highly recommend Todos Santos and especially Casa Jacinto!!

Superb location, great cozy home. Excellent for families and or couples.
This place has everything you need. They even provide toys, umbrella for beach, chairs, beach towels, cooler. It is perfect. Only a bit of a walk to the beach despite it being right near by. But not a big issue. We really loved it! We will be back.

Most beautiful oasis
Thank you, Carol, for letting us stay in your beautiful House. This was the ideal vacation spot for us, family of four, and the tranquility and functionality of the house was perfect. The proximity to the ocean and yet very close to TS and beyond made it easy to plan our days.
Thank you again.

OUR BAJA ADVENTURE IS COMING TO AN END
Casa Jacinta is charming and unique , and set in a lovely garden . It is quiet and private . We read in the shade of the palapa on the patio , and toasted the sunsets "up on the roof" . It is very comfortable , and suited us well for a long stay . We love the climate , which is part of the reason we came . We got to know the town , and enjoyed it very much . We shopped locally , "Que Rico" , the fish store, the wine shop , the farm stand , the organic farm ,and the Superette for basics . Our favourite restaurants are Cleos , around the corner , La Esquina , on the way to town (market there on Wednesday) , Caffe Todos Santos , Landi's , La Casita, Los Adobes , Alma and Manny's for the best cheap eats , and the very special , El Mirador , with the fantastic view , a real must , if even just for a drink .
We ventured to El Triunfo , a historic charming mountain village , and had lunch at Bar El Minero , which has authentic Paella on Sunday's , cooked over a fire on the patio . We walked the waterfront in La Paz, which is lovely .
Playa Punta Lobos is interesting as the Fishermen come in in their Pangas ,and sell their catch on the beach . Playa Los Cerritos is beautiful , and great fun to watch the surfers . Plays Las Palmas sounds lovely , but we did not venture down that road . Which brings me to the strong recommendation to get a vehicle with good clearance . We had a few close calls with. VW
Jetta !
Hasta La Vista , Casa Jacinta , it has been a great pleasure .

Perfect location for watching the sunsets and listening to the crashing Pacific surf.
We stayed at Casa Jacinta for 12 days in April, 2016. A great house for one or two couples. Everything was as advertised. Enjoyed having good cooking pots and utensils though we had many meals out. A nice breeze off the water cools the casa nicely and there is no need for air conditioning or fans. We spent every night on the deck watching the sunsets. Watching the birds of baja was a special experience and saw our first baja cardinals. The property manager Ejay was a delight to work with. We ran out of water one morning and it was delivered pronto! Highly recommend this casa.

Casa Jacinta is outstanding
Hi Carol,
Got back last Saturday from our two wonderful weeks in Mexico. Without a doubt our first week at your place was the best. Todos Santos is a really cool town, and the neighborhood your house is in is our favorite. We fished each morning from the shore, watched the little turtles being released at sunset, and saw whales breaching from your roof top deck.
Your home is immaculate and beautiful. The gardens are outstanding, and by the looks of things all the plants have rebounded quite well after the hurricane. Everything worked perfectly inside your casa, and the little geckos chirping in the roof added a nice touch in the evenings. Wished we could have stayed longer.
Have a Happy New Year, and again thank you for making your home available to us. We enjoyed our stay completely.

An oasis in an oasis
First : I fell in love with that Mexican peninsula. Deeply in love. The combination of Baja California (desert, mountains, spectacular beaches, perfect temperature, delicious wind, ocean and adorable villages) is unique and breathtaking. I found the vibration of Todos Santos beautiful and kind. And the casa Jacinta, very close to the village by car, is a haven, a paradise, an oasis as tranquille and luminous as the sky there.
I'd go back any time to relax, taste the silence, admire the light, take endless walks on empty beaches, eat extraordinary food in charming restaurants, jog, get to know the wonderful Mexican people, fish, read. There are many one(or more)-day excursions to do that are not far from the house and that allow you to enjoy even more the beauty and the people of this land.
Casa Jacinta is in itself beautifully built, extremely clean, decorated with taste, simplicity and authenticity, and very comfortable. As soon as you arrive, you see that the owners have done everything to facilitate your stay and to help you relax. The information left for guests is extensive, precise and extremely helpful. Things are easy to find in the house.
Bref, total bliss. I'd recommend it to everybody anytime.

A Magical Place
We spent a magical week at Casa Jacinta and plan to go back every year from now on (hoping it's available!)
The roof deck that looks out over the ocean is amazing and perfect for evening margaritas. And the lower deck with the window connecting the kitchen is a great place to relax and read. You can hear the ocean from the two bedrooms. The only word to describe Casa Jacinta and the lovely garden is "magical".

A Lovely time in a lovely house
We had the most relaxing time staying at this beautiful home in Todos Santos. We have 2 little children and it was completely safe for them. They thoroughly enjoyed the sand yard and we spend full days just relaxing and being. It is a great house. Todos Santos is a charming town with some wonderful places to eat and hang out. We were glad to find the beach south of town was safe enough for small children to wade in and enjoy. Overall, a fabulous vacation!

Well, if you like COMPLETE peacefulness with a good cup of coffee in the morning, with bright cheerful sunshine, it also comes with a full chorus of "birds" in the morning then for sure you'll find complete happiness... I would wake with coffee every morning, go bird watching and then walk to the ocean...Plus, you get to watch the Whales "frolicking"...Yes, I do recommend this "well kept secret" of simple pleasures! Hi Carol,
We got home last night around 10 pm from the best vacation we've ever had. One week was way too short. Next time we will be asking you to book us for 2 weeks!! The house was a dream. It couldn't have been more perfect. It's much more lovely than your pictures can begin to show. Also, all of your lovely landscaping and the views!! Wow. We are so grateful that you have chosen to share this paradise with others.
Warmly,
Rebecca and Larry

I love this place! The house is charming and comfortable, the beach community is low-key and friendly, and the town of Todos Santos is charming but far enough off the tourist track to feel like Mexico! Take your pick of the local beaches; there are ones for swimming, for walking, for surfing and for buying fish from the local fishermen. Bring your camera; I came back with great shots of flora and fauna. And don't forget your binoculars. The upper deck of Casa Jacinta is great for watching birds as well as sunsets!

Great residence/location. Stayed 2 weeks in March "06". Morning walks on beach with pelicans, tremendous sunsets as we sat on the upper deck sipping margueritas! Clean, comfortable, quiet. Breakfast on lower deck in warm sun! Short drive to the fisherman's beach to buy Bonita right out of the boat for $1.00 lb.! Walk around Todas Santos at night and buy ice cream or fish tacos. Side trips to La Paz or Cabo. Great spot!

My husband and I spent 5 very relaxing days at this lovely home in May 2006. The house itself is airy, light, roomy, and tastefully decorated with more amenities than we could possibly need or want. The house is beautifully landscaped in the desert with the ocean literally steps away. You can walk on this deserted beach forever, it seems.
We needed a car to get to town, about a 10 minute drive, but we did walk to the local grocery store up the hill. There is an organic farm not far from the house as well. The town of Todos Santos is charming and not overwhelmingly touristy, a welcome contrast to Cabo San Lucas. During our stay, we read, walked, shopped, went out to dinner, barbequed at home and slipped in a day trip to La Paz where the waters are tranquil and turquoise.
We thought the weather in May would be unbearably hot but in fact, there were times it was quite cool... those ocean breezes!
If you want to go to Baja to relish the best of this land and truly relax, this beautiful Todos home is definitely the one to rent!

I loved staying here. It was so comfortable and quiet and had everything we needed. Good walks were right out the door. However, the best part was drinks every night on the rooftop deck as we watched the sun set.
