About this apartment rental
Our luxurious loft style Penthouse is 2000 square feet of light-filled modern space, enjoying peace, tranquility and fantastic views over the city. There is a large bedroom, exquisite bathroom and living-room on each floor; so couples can if wanted, enjoy their separate space. The top floor living room with terrace can alternatively be used as a 3rd. bedroom, for extra guests. Beds, linens and towels are of top hotel quality to ensure comfort. It is less than a 15 minute walk to Stephen's Green and Temple Bar.
THE SPACE:
Our penthouse is in a building called The Warehouse which is a unique style of building for Dublin and numbers only 40 apartments. It is an upmarket development of very large apartments which is unusual considering the proximity to the city centre. We are set back on a quiet street yet close to the Cathedrals, the Guinness factory, St Stephen's Green, Camden street, Trinity College and the famous Temple Bar.
The penthouse is a Modernist New York loft-style apartment in a building that was converted from a textile factory and features high ceilings and original vintage parquet wooden flooring. There is an abundance of light flooding through the many large windows and there are three outside areas to enjoy the views and sunset.
The penthouse is dual aspect with an abundance of space including two living areas, so you'll have tons of room to enjoy your stay.
As the penthouse is set on two floors it is like having two luxurious suites for couples or families to enjoy their own separate living and sleeping areas, while being able to gather together in the newly renovated fabulous large kitchen and separate dining area.
The penthouse is also great for groups of 4-6 as the upstairs is suitable for sleeping one adult or 2 children on the large comfortable sofa.
There is a lift for easy access to the apartment.
There is high speed wifi throughout and 3 TV's with multiple channels and Netflix.
SUMMARY:
In all there is a large kitchen, a very large living/dining area with a 65" TV,
Two bedrooms have king size beds. If there are extra guests; the upstairs living room can be used as a 3rd. bedroom and can accommodate an extra adult on the large L-shaped sofa and another on a single foldout bed. There is also a 50" TV in this room. There are 2 luxurious bathrooms with underfloor heating, 2 furnished balconies and a furnished terrace overlooking the city and the Dublin mountains with lovely sunset views.
Our decor is modern and uncluttered. From my fashion/interior background, I have a passion for fabrics and texture which is evident in the use of beautiful Irish linen curtains, a large Missoni wall hanging and bespoke sofa, Natuzzi furniture and shag pile rugs and vibrant silk and cotton velvet soft furnishings and curtains.
Glass and crystal are other strong elements in use and the numerous dimming light fittings create many different moods around the home. There is also a collection of Murano glass peppered here and there and some collector lighting pieces.
Downstairs:-
A very large living room with a dining area and a west facing balcony.
The large separate kitchen comes equipped with all the regular appliances including a Nespresso coffee machine and TV. . We will leave a complimentary breakfast welcome pack for your arrival and all the basic cooking ingredients and pantry ingredients are there for your use.
The huge master king bedroom comes with large sliding wardrobes for guests private use.
There is a luxury en-suite with a large powerful rainwater shower. and two basins with vanities. Quality bedding, towels, robes, toiletries and hair dryer are provided for you.
Off the bedroom is a full width west-facing balcony with seating to enjoy the views of Dublin city and mountains.
Upstairs:-
The second king size bedroom offering the same quality bedding, towels, robes, toiletries and hair dryer..
There is a large wardrobe for your sole use.
On this floor there is the large fabulous bathroom with separate powerful rainwater shower enclosure and bath tub. The mood lighting sets the scene for a relaxing soak.
Then there is the third generous comfy bedroom/sitting-room that can accommodate the extra sleeping area for 2 additional guests.
Folding doors from this room lead to a furnished west facing terrace to enjoy the sunset (or afternoon sunbathing if you're lucky with the weather!). There is a key to lock the terrace doors if children are staying.
There is a newly installed open plan office depot here on the large landing.
I love my comforts so all bed linen is 600 thread-count Egyptian cotton and the towels, duck feather and down pillows and duvets are of luxury hotel quality. Please take note if you have any allergies to feather and we can supply an alternative if needed.
The beds are very comfortable and together with the heavy linen blackout curtains guarantees a great nights sleep.
I am extremely meticulous about cleanliness and we will endeavour to have the apartment as spick and span as possible for your stay.

Multi generational family holiday. Apartment was great for the whole gang, and walkable to almost everything.

Very sleek, nicely kept apartment that’s close enough to the heart of Dublin to do all you could want to do there, plus some nice spots right near by. Carmel was communicative throughout the whole process and a great host. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful, amazing, tremendous stay! There just aren't enough superlatives.
Our hosts were exceptionally communicative and tremendously accommodating: before, during, and even after our stay. Gave us fantastic recommendations, full orientation upon arrival, and made sure we had been able to make our way out. They stayed in touch with us throughout, and were very responsive on the couple occasions when we had questions during our stay.
The property itself is amazing. It's well laid out, comfortably (and impeccably) furnished, and very comfortable. It really felt like our home away from home.
Wonderful location in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk to the hustle and bustle. Fully functional flat, with plenty of space for our family of five adults to gather or spread out, and even have a few friends over for a dinner. Several lovely pubs nearby for a real experience at a true local, along with many terrific take-away restaurants and grocery stores.
I highly recommend for anyone who wants a real Dublin experience, and not just a party on Temple Bar: great hosts, great property, and a great value to provide amazing memories from an incredible trip.

This apartment is very well located to enjoying everything central Dublin has to offer. My family of 5 enjoyed spending Christmas in this large, comfortable, well appointed apartment. The Hosts were excellent- very detailed and responsive. And the beautiful Christmas tree in the living room was so special and appreciated.

Property is exact as described and shown in photos. We stayed 2 weeks and loved every minute!! To anyone considering trip to Dublin, absolutely consider this condo…I highly recommend. The Hosts are wonderful and truly care. It was an absolutely perfect stay and we so appreciate Carmel opening her door for us. Location is awesome and walking distance to most places (recommend taking a walk to Kavenah Pub…great place)
The only disappointment was…..having to leave!!

Carmel was excellent at communicating and making sure everything was OK for our stay. The apartment is just as the pictures describe it. It is very, very nice. They left some water, milk and juice in the fridge for us. Plus, a bottle of wine, some cheese and chocolate. It’s those little things that mean so much. We walked everywhere during our long weekend in Dublin. We did not need a car. We didn’t even UBER. We had six adults in our group and we had plenty of room. I would definitely recommend this place.

This property has the word "luxury" in its title, and that's apt. It's a well appointed lodging that the owners took great care to design.
We had five adults and it was the perfect size for us. More than enough room, and the living area was great for us to collect.
It's located very close to St. Patricks Cathedral, and it's about a 10-12 minute walk to St. Stephens to the east, and the Temple Bar area to the north. There are stores and pubs near by.
Special thanks to Carmel, our host. She greeted us and made us feel right at home. I didn't feel like a paying guest, but rather as a friend visiting town for the weekend. It was appreciated.
Due to local laws, there are very few short-term apartments for rent in Dublin, and this is one of the very best. Worth the price.

This property is in a great location, easy to walk to all areas of the city and in a nice neighborhood. Carmel and John are great communicators and willing to help us with any of our needs. Their home is nice with plenty of space for the 4-5 of us. We would recommend this spot to anyone visiting Dublin!

This penthouse apartment is stunning! It's walkable to all of Dublin's sights. The apartment is huge and the area is safe and has convenient shopping and restaurants. I can't say enough about Carmel & John as hosts. They responded to every question within minutes and were kind enough to let us check in early as our flight was in the morning. They have detailed instructions for everything in their home and left us wine & food when we arrived. They also gave us detailed restaurant & sightseeing recommendations which were super helpful. Carmel & Johns's home is decorated beautifully and has every amenity you could want for a vacation. It was also spotless and very comfortable. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you are visiting Dublin. We hope to be back soon. Many thanks to Carmel & John for a memorable stay!

We were looking for a place in Dublin to meet up as a family and fortunately found Carmel’s apartment. Our flight arrived early in the day, 10 am, and Carmel and John were kind enough to see us into the flat. Wonderful hosts all around.

We stayed at Carmel and John’s beautiful apartment while in Dublin to get our daughter settled in at Trinity College. The location was perfect and the space was utterly amazing! So comfortable and spacious. It allowed us to spread out and organize ourselves for the big move in! Carmel was so helpful in so many ways, but especially with recommendations for shopping. She was so accommodating with our arrival and even set us up with delicious breakfast foods. We have already booked for another stay!

We really enjoyed our stay and couldn't have asked for a better property. The property layout makes it easy to stay with family since there are two floors so we can be together when we want and then have some privacy as well. The location is also fantastic as we could walk anywhere we wanted within Dublin City. Carmel's communication and responsiveness was also on-par....would recommend this to friends and family.

We loved staying here. Carmel and John were so easy to to communicate with and as our travels plans changed, their flexibility was truly appreciated. The space itself is so comfortable and plenty of room to spread out. We had two teenage boys and they felt like they had their own luxury apartment upstairs with the incredible bathtub, terrace and rooms. They left a binder filled with recommendations, history, and basic info. The place was very clean and after 12 hours of travel, they fresh bread, milk, cheese and wine were appreciated beyond belief. We would love to come back to Dublin and stay here again! Thank you both for opening your home to us!

Carmel & John's beautiful apartment in Dublin was a huge hit with us! It had everything we needed (and so much more) for our stay, had luxurious sheets, towels, finishes and was a great location - we did so much walking everywhere from the apartment each day.
When we arrived, Carmel met us outside at the gate, showed us everything in the apartment and was always available to answer any questions throughout our stay. A very detailed book of recommendations for food, activities and other information was very helpful also. We were traveling as a couple plus a work colleague and the spacious apartment gave us separate space when needed and good common areas too. We even had my in-laws spend the final night with us for a splurge for the end of their vacation!
Overall an amazing location and I highly recommend it!

This place is a gem. The apartment is beautiful. The hostess, Carmel told me that she was a professional decorator and it shows throughout the apartment. It is decorated with luxury sofas, the beds are large and comfy with top quality sheets and towels, the 2 baths were luxuriose- LED mood lighting, multi spray showers and in-floor heating. There are views of the city and the Dublin Mountains from the terraces. There are beautiful art, furniture and objects throught. The kitchen was all new with gleaming tile and Carmel left us a stock of food, water and juices; a nice bottle of wine and a box of chocolates! She took the time to do some research for me and suggested itineraries for us. She also accomodated us with a flexible check-in. The location is perfect. Its a 15 minute walk to Temple Bar and the area has a nice neighborhood feel with a 24 hour store and pubs and restaurants-great pizza!
Thanks for everythig Carmel!
