The master suite also has a large walk-in closet and a 5-piece spa bathroom with *jetted* soaking tub, his and her sinks, and a toilet separated by a door for privacy.

ACCESS
Access to the home is provided without a cumbersome lock box or key exchange. Instead, you will choose a 4 digit code, and the electronic lock to the home will be programmed to work for the duration of your stay.

You will have access to the entire home, including parking for one car in the attached garage (and plentiful free street parking for additional vehicles). The garage is located one level below the "entry level" noted above.

AIR CONDITIONING

Seattle Vacation Home has 1 through 8 bedrooms homes, and everything in between. All of our homes are in a compact area... perfect for large groups, wedding guests, reunions, corporate retreats, etc.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
This home is central to everything Madison Valley has to offer: great restaurants, parks, hiking, supermarkets, day spas, and more. Your hosts made Madison Valley their home when first settling in Seattle... and haven't looked back since.

We love walking the streets of this neighborhood and we will gladly suggest fun walks depending on your interests. Stroll to the beach at Madison Park. Walk by multi-million dollar estates. Discover hidden neighborhood gems such as the farmhouse with horses in the yard and the home that doubles as an eclectic art studio and antique truck gallery. Take a walk through the fabled Arboretum to Lake Washington.

Once you have worked up your appetite, enjoy the countless restaurants that Madison Valley ("Little Paris") has to offer. In addition to French gems, try our favorite tapas restaurant or the best Japanese food east of Tokyo. Take your morning coffee in one of numerous bakeries. Or opt for Thai, pan-Asian, craft pizza, Tex-Mex or more.

Our home provides easy access to Downtown (Pike Place Market, Seattle Art Museum, Seattle Great Wheel), Seattle Center (Space Needle, Chihuly Glass Museum), South Lake Union (MOHAI), University of Washington, and Capitol Hill. All are accessible by car, bus (numerous bus lines a few blocks from home), or for the adventurous, by foot.

If all of this touring (and eating) has you tired, pamper yourself with a visit to a day spa or nail salon. There are several of each within a few blocks of home and we are happy to point you in the right direction.

This is a classic Seattle townhome near Madison Valley. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Check in was very easy and the owners are very communicative. I appreciated that their check-out process was also very easy and did not require us to strip down the beds, etc. We stayed here with another family and had four kids under the age of 7. Our kids loved the bunkbed room and it worked well for their purposes. The beds were comfortable. I would say though that the place could use a more vigorous cleaning (and perhaps this was because they had a quick turnaround the day we checked in). But there was still dust bunnies in the corners and the surfaces in the house did not appear clean. Also, while there is a garage space as advertised, for us as suburban dwellers we could not get a Dodge charger into the garage. The garage is down a steep incline and then is the first turn on the right so the turn was pretty difficult for us to make. We ended up just parking on the street instead.

The property provided plenty of space for 3 different couples (and one teen) from the same family to allow us comfort to sleep as well as places to spend time together. Very centrally located for sure. Street parking was very easy. It definitely worked perfectly for our group.

We arrived at 7:15 pm and found 3 big bags of trash on the front step. The housekeeping staff was still cleaning the unit for another hour. The next day, my husband returned to the property in the early afternoon and was surprised to find two repair men in the unit working on the TV. They explained what they were doing, but we both felt we should have been notified that someone was entering the unit during our stay. We certainly understand that maintenance issues need to be resolved, but felt it was important to be notified. It’s weird to unlock your door and find strangers inside. I texted a short message asking we be notified in the future. The next day I sent a text that we couldn’t turn on the TV after my husband followed the troubleshooting suggestions on the app we were sent. I received a response that they’d contact a repairman and let us know when they’d arrive. Instead, I received a text that the repairman had fixed the TV. We appreciated that it was working of course, but we’re bummed we’d not been texted that someone was coming into the unit again. I don’t like to complain, but we’ve rented many properties over the years and never run into this. There were some nice features of this property, but I’d recommend to look elsewhere.

I wish I could post pictures of the filth of this condo...Dirty sock in the corner, poop splatter in the toilet, powder makeup on the bathroom floor, grimy, sticky, dirty kitchen floor and countertop with old, dirty sponge in sink and a brown smear on floor leading from bathroom to bedroom I cleaned up and can only assume it was feces and the carpet obviously not vacuumed for quite some time...After sending various cleaners back THREE times attempting to clean the condo, I gave up and cleaned up the space myself just to feel comfortable....they also tried to blame the dirty sock in the corner on me...of which after they came and picked it up finally, they left it on the stoop. Again, I wish I could post pictures with my review! They advertise parking...forget about it...no garage door opener (even after asking) and unless you have a teeny tiny car, there's no way you're able to use the garage. In fact, they know this because they have cleaning supplies and the garbage receptacles in the parking space in the garage blocking any vehicle from parking there even if you were able to get into the tight space. There are plenty of other rentals in the Seattle area, in better locations...save yourself mental energy and give yourself peace of mind and rent somewhere else!

We didn't spend much time in the property, but it was the perfect "home-base" for our family to head out from and return to each day. The managers have pretty much thought of evrythin gin terms of making our stay easy and were responsive with the couple of questions we did have.
