Wander Inn is a lovely cottage located in the cool pines of Prescott where you can enjoy the best of both worlds: The serenity of a forested neighborhood and the close proximity to courthouse square (5 minutes away!)
Relax in your mountain getaway while enjoying easy access to historic downtown and all it's fairs and festivities. Wander Inn is a bright open cottage, kept refreshingly clean and stocked with most anything you might need. The neighborhood offers paved streets, parks within walking distance and access to trailheads into the national forest. This house sleeps 6-8 and has everything you might need, including high speed cable internet, cable TV, A/C and more. It's the traveler's dream getaway: a woodsy rustic location with clean new accommodations. Mattresses, pillows and linens all updated in 2023. Wander Inn sits on a beautiful corner lot with over .5 Acre of private wooded terrain. The house has a very large, fenced dog run so feel free to bring your furry friends. New granite, tile and flooring in bathrooms, new beds, new flooring, windows and doors! Enjoy hiking in the woods knowing you can return to clean, cozy space.

We absolutely loved our month here and are so glad to have booked a return visit already! Such a comfortable home, a lovely neighborhood close to the Square, animals of all kinds traipsing through the yard, and lots of peace and quiet. Communication was fantastic. Everything was just perfect!

This place is much more than a cabin in the woods. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living, dining, kitchen. It has a great little patio and a fenced yard which was great for our little pup. It's located in some tall pines just a few minutes from Whiskey Row. We saw deer meander past the back door almost daily! I work from home and the internet was perfect. It's a great place to stay!

I had a wonderful 30-day stay at the Wander Inn during the holidays. The house is very comfortable, well appointed, and quiet. It was just what I needed for a restful break. The owners could not have been more welcoming. They left me a full decorated Christmas tree and holiday basket of goodies. There was a firepit in the backyard with table, chairs, and a charcoal grill. Deer roamed through in the afternoon periodically. Downtown Prescott—a charming square with shops and restaurants—is just a couple minutes away. There are tons of hiking trails in the beautiful surrounding area. I would highly recommend this house.

We had such a great time at Wander Inn. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our evenings sitting by the fire pit. We had everything we needed to cook, and we really enjoyed the big screen TV for watching football games. The neighborhood was beautiful, we saw mule deer, wild turkeys, and javalenas! Thanks for the fence around the patio, we almost came too close to a wildlife experience With all the great hiking trails we look forward to coming back to Prescott,and we will definitely stay at Wander Inn. The home was very comfortable and spacious and located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. We enjoyed the deer and occasional javelina's passing through the yard and the large fenced in area was perfect for our dog to explore. Tim Dean was an extremely helpful and approachable host. Without hesitation I would recommend this property to anyone traveling to the Prescott area.

We wanted to try a winter in Prescott and we picked the worst January in 40 years! The Wander Inn kept us warm and cozy. The house has everything you need for a long or short stay and the neighborhood was great. Also, there is plenty of wildlife to see from the back door. The kitchen is well equipped and user friendly. We would return anytime Tim would have us. We may have to try a summer next!

4 nurses stayed here while on assignment at the local hospital…the owners where very responsive to any question we had…the house was perfect especially the back porch to see the wildlife that live in the area.

We had a lovely stay here. My fiancée and I stayed for a couple months. The owners were extremely accommodating, and quick to respond to any questions/concerns. We enjoyed seeing the deer and javelinas nearly every day out the back porch. Our little dog enjoyed the back, fenced area to sniff and play in. The kitchen has an island and is a great big size. It’s a great location if you are a travel nurse, because it’s in the woods but a really close drive to the hospital, about 10 minutes.

Beautiful Area but Challenging Stay

Loved the location and the wildlife, but the house in general needs many repairs or improvements. The Oven was broken and leaked gas (F12 error) so we never used it. the beds were just ok, but the furnishings were sub-standard. Both couches need to be replaced and the remainder of the furniture can best be descripted as "worn second hand" quality. The dog run was nice but didn't have lights for night and because of the wild animals (deer, coyote and wild pigs) approaching the back sliding glass door, I had to purchase temporary fencing to keep our small dogs safe (which I left for future renters). There was a nice fire pit out back but it did not have any propane so I had to buy that too. The heater made a sound like someone was hitting it with a baseball bat each time it turned on and off so that was also annoying. The owners were nice and let us check out late on Jan. 31 and we are thankful of that. All and all I wish we would have had other choices as this was painful for my wife and dogs as well as me as I ended up fetching almost all meals as the microware was really small and sweated when you used it.

My husband and I moved out of state and stayed here while awaiting the close of escrow on our home. The owners were pleasurable to deal with, had an open line of communication, and made everything simple. The gated area was great for our two dogs. The home itself was adorable, comfortable, and centrally located. We would definitely recommend this place and stay again if needed.

Great location in a residential neighborhood in the pines yet close to downtown Prescott. We had a problem with ants in the kitchen probably because the kitchen was not very clean and found the furniture, especially chairs, quite uncomfortable. In spite of that, this cabin served as a great base for our day trips, and we very much enjoyed exploring north-central Arizona for over a month.

The cottage surrounded by a forest of trees was a relaxing get-away for our family of seven. Our kids and dogs enjoyed roaming around the area and playing at the creek nearby. The cottage had plenty of supplies and amenities that made vacationing with the family as easy as possible. The only downside for me was that the mattress weren't entirely comfortable and felt like I was sinking into them. And the fact that the hot water ran out after three or four uses. But other than that, we all had a great time and would definitely recommend this place to any other families.

Very nice retreat in the Ponderosa Pines of Prescott. Coyotes and Javelinas wandered through the yard. And still it's just a couple of miles from the Courthouse Square in Prescott. Nicely equipped and eclectically decorated. Robin was helpful and responded quickly. This is a great choice for your Prescott stay.

Our stay at Wander Inn was perfect! The location was excellent and the house was cozy. The only suggestion I have is that a firmer mattress in the master’s bedroom would be good. Otherwise, we had everything we needed and enjoyed the back patio in the lovely weather.

Adorable cottage just minutes away from Whisky Row but also in quiet secluded pines - the best of both worlds! Everything was provided for a truly relaxing visit. We travel a lot to Prescott for get-a-ways and this place is probably the best we've ever stayed it - its a gem!! Owners have all the necessities there you need to sit back relax and have a great vacation whether its 2 days or a month long - THE BEST!!!.

My daughter got married in Prescott, and she and her bridesmaids all stayed here for the weekend. They got ready here, and it accommodated everything beautifully! The photographer got great pictures of the girls and the beautiful décor was a great backdrop! The house was spacious and the kitchen well-stocked. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, and the linens were great quality. The house backs up to beautiful woods, and it is a lovely setting. I highly recommend it!
