The hotel was very beautiful and considered in a lovely location, next to the beach and a short walk to nature. We received a warm welcome at reception and were very comfortable in our room throughout. The perfect danish beach town getaway - I loved staying here.

The breakfast system wasn't clear and serving staff weren't very friendly or forthcoming, other guests appeared lost also. Dinning setting and actual food was really nice once we figured it out but unfortunately we ordered to little not understanding the menu - and eventually gave up.

The hotel itself is beautiful, every room is furnished and decorated very tastefully. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had to return home early and they agreed on cancelling the last nights without any cost. The communal dinner was fantastic, nice food, lovely conversation with other guests. Free bikes! 5 minutes walk from the beach.

Our room was tiny without a cupboard. If you have to place your suitcases on the floor to live out of them it makes it unlikely that one can feel comfortable. Breakfast was exactly the same every day, a bigger variety would be nice.

Bit odd. Beautiful decor. Great breakfast

The breakfast was fab, the coffee was spot on. Really friendly breakfast staff. Truly beautifully designed hotel. Loved the warm floor in the bathroom.

The room was small. There was a weird vibe in the hotel, like no reception hospitality, felt like you weren't really welcome.

It’s beautiful, well located and the staff are friendly. With a relaxed atmosphere.

There was no secure lock up for bikes, and half of the plug sockets gave no power. The room didn’t have a refrigerator for a few basic snacks and some wine we bought.

A relaxing getaway in Hornbæk

The decor was absolutely beautiful and the living areas were quite relaxing and well put together! The room was nice. We had a lovely view onto the garden, and the comfort of the room was very agreeable.

The meal on the first night was pretty dry, however the following nights the meals were really nice! Being a coffee lover, I was personally a bit disappointed that the Hotel didn't offer any lattes or cappuccinos (I guess I've become accustomed to them) - but they had black coffee and excellent tea - so all good ;-)

Warm, cozy, pretty. An old days hotel where the guests meet around the chimney to play.

It is very cozy! The food is excellent. The decorations very pretty.
