About this cottage rental

Imagine hiking beautiful trails, mountain biking, fishing crystal clear streams or any other mountain adventure that you take on then soothing your muscles in a relaxing hot tub! Would you enjoy reading or flipping through a magazine in front of a fireplace while sipping on a hot cup of coffee or having a glass of wine? How would sitting out on one of our 3 decks, listening to the sounds of the creek and taking in the nature that surrounds you sound? You wouldn't mind tucking yourself into a comfortable king size bed, would you? You can do all this & more at Beech's Cozy Cottage, your escape from the rat race we call life! We pride ourselves in making your stay a repeat occurrence. We want you to find a little peace & quiet from the everyday while relaxing in our cottage.

When you arrive at the cottage, you walk up the front deck past, the gas grill and into the entry level of the cottage. There is a gas fireplace that keeps the entry level as warm as you like. The dining area has a table for four to enjoy your every meal, unless you prefer to dine al fresco on one of two bistro tables. Prepare your meals in a well equipped kitchen that is sure to have all of the tools you would need. Some of our guests say they wish their own kitchen was stocked as well as the cottage’s. You should not want for anything. Whether baking something warm and delicious, fixing a hearty country meal or putting you’re culinary expertise into motion complimented with a beverage, all of the supplies are ready for you. The bathroom is supplied with towels and toiletries. The clothes washer and drier finish off the entry level along with the detergent.

The up stairs bedroom boasts a 400 s/f master suite and a very comfortable King Size Bed with a beautiful wooden sleigh headboard. A second fireplace helps you to relax and take in the warmth of the cottage. Open the windows or sit on one of the decks and listen to the sounds of the birds and the small creek that runs through the property. The back deck offers a steaming hot tub to relax your muscles and set you at ease. So go ahead, play as hard as you like knowing that the hot tub is ready for you when you return. Take in the view of the lush forest during spring, summer and fall and get a partial view of the mountain ridge during winter. If you do need to use your computer during you’re stay, WiFi high speed Internet is ready for you.

When you are ready to just relax at the cottage and enjoy the peace and quiet, a variety of wildlife can be seen. On any given day, it is very possible to see deer stroll through the yard along with squirrels, chipmunks and a variety of birds.

Beech’s Cozy Cottage is a great place to enjoy after a day of playing in the mountains and can be used for pure relaxation at anytime.

We absolutely recommend Danna's Cozy Cabin!! We were visited by deer daily. Quiet, everything extremely clean and inviting! Communication with host very nice about everything and our reason for stay. You can't go wrong with booking this cabin. Hot tub AWESOME and very clean. Loved our time there and will rebook.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time! The owner could not have been anymore helpful. She went out of her way to make sure I knew how to use everything and even offered to let us stay an extra night. We would stay again for sure.

Had a lovely quick weekend getaway and loved our stay in Cozy Cottage. Even though the roads are twisty, it’s pretty easy to find. Jacuzzi was nice to have since it rained all weekend. Loved the deer friends we made. Would definitely recommend to friends.

We had a fabulous time celebrating our anniversary at this beautiful, quiet, clean and cozy location. We fed the deer every morning and evening…they knew when it was feeding time, lol. We stayed in, relaxed and enjoyed the down time. The cabin is so quaint and the owner was very quick to respond to any communication. The place is very clean and equipped with everything you will need. After hiking 3 of the nearby trails, the hot tub was the perfect ending to the day! Can’t wait to come back and stay!

We wanted to get away from the heat in South Florida so we drove up to the cabin . It was our second time staying there. Loved it again . Dana makes sure of it . We loved seeing the deer and feeding them . We even got an unexpected visitor, a black bear. He climbed up the second story balcony to get to we think , the bird feeder. I ran and shut both doors quickly. What an experience.!! He must of gotten what he wanted and bolted. . I loved the cozy bed and chaise upstairs. It was too warm to raise the fireplace. I would suggest coming earlier in the summer as there isn’t any a/c . Ceiling fans worked and much needed. Thanks again Dana Nina & Ted Plantation, Fl.

My boyfriend and I had a much needed peaceful getaway and found the PERFECT cabin for it. It is beautiful, well-stocked, clean, in the perfect location for us. We enjoyed the hot tub each evening. We were a little concerned about not having AC, but it turned out that we didn't need it. The weather was perfect. We really enjoyed feeding the deer each day and really enjoyed exploring Banner Elk, Boone and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We will definitely be coming back to this cabin, hopefully in the Fall.

We had the best time arriving for our honeymoon. We had no idea what to expect, upon arrival. We where blown away that the pictures and the accuracy of the description of the property. Danna was awesome so welcoming and so responsive to all of our questions. It was so tranquil and quiet which is what we needed. The best experience of the stay was feeding the deer outta our hands early morning and late in the evening. At one point we had 7 deer there eating corn. What an awesome time. We definitely will be returning!!!

I booked the cottage for my wife and I to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. We wanted a quiet out of the way location and had never visited this part of NC before. The cottage was perfect, nice and quietly tucked under the mountain top. The surrounding area was beautiful and very peaceful. The cottage was complete with all the amenities anyone could ask for. Everything has been thought of and included. The hot tub was luxurious after a full day of hiking and sight seeing. The bed was super comfortable. The keurig coffee maker was a fantastic touch as we didn't have to brew an entire pot of coffee when we just wanted a cup. Seeing the deer come through the yard right beside the cottage only added to the experience. The cottage is located in close proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway which is a great jumping off point for lots of scenery including Linnville Falls and Mt Mitchell. If you decide to visit, do yourself a favor and go eat at The Banner Elk Tavern-Cafe and also Stone Walls restaurant also in Banner Elk. If your looking for breakfast, check out Fred's Deli in Beech Mountain. I would without a doubt stay at Dannas cottage again and would reccomend her cottage to anyone looking for the perfect getaway.

This house is beautiful it was the cleanest rental we have ever had. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need i absolutely loved the extra large towels for the hot tub. The bed is so comfortable the wild life around the house was so relaxing to watch and the property manager is amazing i highly recommend this home if i had any complaint at all its that the drive way is a little tight but we do drive a f350 4 door long bed so it takes a field to turn our bus around so we had to back in. But its not horriable. Great place for a couples getaway

Staying here was like being in a lifetime movie minus the bake off. The deer came everyday, all day and loved the corn and apples. Many are from your hand. It snowed during our stay so we sled around the neighborhood and built a snowman as if we were children again. The king bed was very comfortable and cozy. I do recommend 4 wheel drive especially in the winter months. I loved the hot tub. It was great sitting in it as it snowed all around us. Would recommend to stay here.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the cottage for several days while we snowboarded at Sugar Mountain. Out of every VRBO we've stayed at, the cottage was one of the absolute best! Warm fireplaces, super comfortable king size bed, fast internet and a jacuzzi to soak after a hard day on the slopes! Danna was wonderful and accommodating as well! Loved it!

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights for our anniversary. We had a wonderful, memorable time. The Property was as described, clean, comfortable and well appointed. Can't think of anything we needed that wasn't there. We opened all the blinds so we could enjoy watching the deer. There was corn provided to feed them which we really enjoyed. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had the most amazing stay at the cottage. Everything is just as listed. The king size bed sleeps so good, all three porches are relaxing with views of the woods and opposite mountain, kitchen is well equipped, two full baths, fireplaces make it cozy, the chaise lounge upstairs is so comfortable and perfect to watch tv or read in, the hot tub is big and soooo relaxing, bring your camera for perfect spots to take your pictures, it’s a quiet neighborhood, so much wild life and the hi light of the trip for us were the deer. We were able to feed them daily and the last day we even got to hand feed and pet a doe. Beech Ski Resort is just a few miles away. We are already looking for dates to book our next trip. We absolutely loved it!!

Daana was an amazing host with excellent communication! The house was just perfect in every way for our weekend getaway. This was our 6th time at Cozy Cottage in 4 years. Danna is a wonderful host. She goes above and beyond to make sure you have no issues with check in and genuinely cares that your stay is the best experience. The property is kept immaculate and inviting! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Privacy on the back deck in the hot tub is special. There are lots of towels and everything you could need for personal hygiene and comfort. We always feel refreshed and rejuvenated when we leave. Perfect romantic getaway surrounded by nature at its best. Deer corn is provided and they will eat from your hand at times. We look forward to returning every time.

This was our first time staying at Beech Mountain and we greatly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was picture perfect, private and cozy. As if scripted, the deer made their way out almost as quick as we pulled in and after a little coaxing, they were eating from my hand. The property owner, Danna, went above and beyond to accommodate us and provide everything needed for a story book stay in the mountains. We will be back to stay again. She was exceptionally sweet and friendly and the cabin was super clean and tidy from top to bottom. We highly recommend a stay here. Thanks Danna!

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend away! The house is beautiful! We enjoyed seeing all the deer and fawns; deer corn was provided. The hot tub was nice for relaxing and soothing sore muscles. The owner was quick to respond and was available to help with anything.

I have stayed in this cabin multiple times over the years with my husband, with our children, and this time for a working vacation by myself. Danna is always a perfect hostess. The cabin is so peaceful and the wildlife never disappoints. I had lots of deer visitors to feed. The bed is so comfortable and the hot tub is amazing! Don’t be surprised if while you are sitting in the hot tub a family of deer walk by! We’ll definitely return!
