Loved every minute

I love Epernay . The cave is so close to all the champagne houses. And I love it’s on Champagne Avenue

We enjoyed the lovely sized rooms, great beds and a lovely building.

The property was in a great location , fresh clean

The breakfast was ordinary and the eggs when requested were not cooked to our satisfaction. There were not enough towel rails in the one bathroom. There were no towel rails in the second room and insufficient and broken towel rails in the third. One of the guests asked for the towel rails to be fixed and ended up trying to fix them himself. There was insufficient wardrobe space. The staff on duty were indifferent and unhelpful. We were disappointed that we were unable to get a reservation for the restaurant.

Leuk en goed centraal gelegen hotel

Centrale ligging. Leuk hotel. Sfeervol. Gastvrij personeel. Uitstekend diner en ontbijt. Hoewel de straat vrij druk is kunnen de ramen s'nachts dicht door goede airco. We hebben prima geslapen. Parkeren op prive terrein op afspraak mogelijk op 5 min afstand lopen.

Paar opmerkingen. Op 1 nacht waren we de enige gasten. De kamer werd in 3 dagen niet echt schoongemaakt. Dit zal wel met Covid te maken hebben. De audio installatie in het restaurant is van erbarmelijk slechte kwaliteit, muziek is niet om aan te horen.

Location is right on the corner of the champagne avenue where all the major houses are situated

Staff do not speak fluent English. If you don’t speak French you need to make yourself clear

Great location and a nice stay

Spacious, cosy and recently renovated loft apartment in central location on the famous and picturesque street.

Difficult to access from the street (no place to stop the car without blocking traffic). Elevator doesn’t reach the loft, so there is one extra floor to take stairs and carry luggage.

Great location, nice room and very good breakfast

Although booking.com suggested reception hours were from 1pm to around 8pm the property informed us that reception closed at 4pm the particular day we arrived which seemed unusual. Not a big deal as they gave detailed notes as to how to access the property and where to park but just added a little extra stress after a long drive

the breakfast had plenty of selection and the added cooked eggs was a nice touch. the rooms were very nice.

when we arrived there was no one to greet us only other guests that explained the parking, and we all waited together for some one to arrive. She was a bit confused but helpful to get us to our rooms. We did inform them of our arrival time?

Perfect stopover on the journey from southern France to Calais

The perfect location for a short stay in Epernay, just a few yards from the champagne houses. Very nice room, reasonable shower and great breakfast.

On a saturday check-in is not available between 3pm and 6pm which is very frustrating!

A Comfortable, Accomodating, and Beautiful Champagne Hotel!

The room was incredibly beautiful and comfortable. Staff were welcoming, helpful and accommodating. My request to add a bottle of champagne to the room after I proposed to my partner during the was done perfectly. The food and wine in the restaurant was exceptional and the kitchen was able to accommodate my partner's dietary requirements no problem. Overall, a great experience and would 100% stay again!

La Cave is a wonderful place to stay in Epernay, especially if you need air conditioning!

We enjoyed the addition of cooked to order eggs to the traditional continental breakfast. Whether an omelet or a soft boiled egg, they were cooked perfectly.

The property was in a wonderful location. Really well decorated and furnished. Everything you could need. Breakfast was fabulous and the staff were excellent.

Nothing but a washing machine would be useful in the apartment for longer stays.

Everything we needed for a great short visit.

The property couldn’t be more central, it is located on one end of Avenue de Champagne, very close to the centre, with bars, little supermarkets, shops and restaurants within walking distance and had parking facilities. It is one of those beautiful authentic buildings that have been nicely renovated and has its own restaurant and bar. The room was bright and spacious, we didn’t mind a bit of noise from the main road, bed was comfortable, nice bathroom with a bathtub. The biggest plus is that they are pet friendly, they even provided a bed, bowl and snack for our dog and the staff, particularly Jessica, was very kind and accommodating, also providing vegan options for the breakfast when we asked. The continental type of breakfast was very nice, with a variety of wonderful French bread. We would definitely return.

One of the main entrance doors making a very loud noise when shutting automatically - but this will be surely fixed.
