Very recommended for families looking for a relaxing stay in Cape Verde

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, clean room, right next to the beach and town. Overall excellent experience in Santa Maria.

Lunch menu could have more variety for a 4 star hotel.

Super Hotel an Traumstrand

Das Hotel ist super. Es steht in perfekter Lage und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Man findet im Hotel alles was man braucht und auch das Frühstück war gut. Das Badezimmer war relativ gross und sowohl die Dusche, als auch die Klimaanlage funktionierten einwandfrei. Kommen gerne wieder!

Die Badezimmertür war gewöhnungsbedürftig. :)

Perfecte ligging

Ligging tov strand en centrum. Ruime badkamer, veel kastruimte, goede airco.

Ontbijt. Op zich gevarieerd maar niet allemaal even lekker. Kamers geen smart tv Muziek en sfeer in het restaurant en beachclub leek op bejaarden afgestemd.

Comfortable, clean and beautiful hotel with all the amenities right on the beach

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The workers kept the grounds clean and well maintained. I saw them sweeping the cobblestones and the surrounding areas every day, cleaning the pools, and taking care of the gardens. One could tell how much emphasis the management puts on cleanliness and maintaining the grounds. All the staff were very nice and friendly and greeted me every day. Loved that there were different restaurant choices, either at the beach or at the hotel. The breakfast was amazing and the variety of breakfast foods available. Also, I appreciated that there is a cash machine in the lobby and didn’t have to go out and find an ATM machine to withdraw cash.

I only wished the hotel would invest a little more on the gym. It definitely needs new equipment. All equipment were old and didn’t work well. I understand that maybe that’s not a priority for them but for those of us who are gym buffs and like to workout on vacation, we expect equipment in working condition. In addition, I didn’t like that the hotel still uses keys instead of card keys. I had to leave my keys at front desk every time I went out because I didn’t want to carry it with me or didn’t want to lose it.

Beautiful beachfront hotel

Location of hotel was fantastic - right on the beach. Breakfast was excellent. And hotel grounds beautiful.

Four excellent days.

I liked everything, to be so near to the beach, the swimming pool and the restaurants. I also liked the resort facilities, including the massage care. I believe the boutique could be better and include a souvenir shop with some real handicraft.

Very good

Breakfast was great. Airline lost my bag, and it did not arrive before I left on a 2 week sailing trip. Hotel kept it for me till I got back. Huge thanks to the staff at reception!

Porter did not take me all the way to my room.

Decent old style beach resort!!

Good beach resort, very close to the main street of Santa Maria. Friendly staff, and the hotel is spotless clean. Great breakfast buffet at a nice breakfast area. Great beach club as well, with a bar and restaurant, right on a beach with crystal clear waters and fine white sand. The rooms are big and quiet, clean, and with good showers and excellent bedding!

My room was all the way in the back, in a building overlooking an ugly concrete mini golf garden, on the 2nd floor, while there are much nicer rooms that are much closer to the beach, on the ground floor and that face the garden in front of the hotel with the ocean as a backdrop. So definitively ask for such a room, it can make a huge difference in your comfort. Also the reception is not very knowleadgeble about any excursions you can make, you need to go outside to one of the many operators nearby (which works fine). They also have a rather strange policy w.r.t. airport transfers: for international flights, you pay to the hotel 7,5 euro one way (who I assume then pay the taxi driver), and for domestic flights (that use exactly the same airport!), you pay 15 euro one way to the taxi driver.... Very weird...
