About this house rental

When renting, consider size of house, sleeping arrangements, depth of water, water accessibility from house, swimming conditions and proximity to retail establishments/grocery stores. This home is close to everything yet secluded from city noise. It is just minutes by boat to restaurants and H.S. Marina/launch ramp. Great for swimming and fishing. It is just off the main channel so swimmers aren't swamped with boat waves. It has a large deck that gets sun and shade at the same time. Fire pit, grill. It is very relaxing. It sleeps 8 adults (4BR-3 are king beds) + 2 children (inflatable mattress).

Great place with all the comforts of home! Love being right on the lake in a quiet cove. Pontoon rental and groceries close by too. Plenty of room for 7 people. TV’s in every room with 2 living areas as well. A/C kept house nice and cool. My family spent lots of time on the deck! 15 minutes to Hot Springs NP.

Quaint house. Great view of one of the coves. Comfortable beds. Dryer doesn't work very well. Had to dry 4 beach towels 3 times on high heat to get dry. Old socks under night stand and dust along all baseboards. Spider webs throughout. We made the most of our trip and had an enjoyable time.

Went for a family trip with our adult children. Had an absolutely wonderful time. Love the dock as we were able to use our paddle boards as well as rent a boat one day and have easy access to the house. We will definitely be coming back!

Check in was easy, though we got there at night and had difficulty finding the light switches, but our iPhone flash lights came in handy. Beds were comfortable, but around 4am we were startled awake by what sounded like a robotic man’s voice shouting. More on this in a bit. In addition, there was a beeping sound every 40 seconds in one of the downstairs rooms that kept my family members staying down there awake. We couldn’t find the source of the beeping or the loud talking sound. A few of my family members kept looking for the source of the beeping and kept saying it sounded like it was coming from under the bed. They tried to look under the bed at one point and it was disgusting. There was so much dust, some trash, and dirty socks. Yuck. I texted the homeowner the next morning and explained the situations. They said it was likely smoke alarms that needed batteries changed but said there was nothing under the bed. The beeping continued and the loud robotic man’s voice happened two more times, so we ended up having the homeowners come and check on everything. They changed batteries in the smoke detectors which was apparently the issue and what the robotic man’s voice was (which was deafening and terrifying at 4am, for the record). They then realized what the beeping issue was that we had already told them sounded like it was coming from under the bed- they said they located a smoke detector shoved between the mattress and box springs of that bed. They told us it must have….

We had a relaxing stay and enjoyed the views from this lovely deck overlooking the water. The home and property are as described in the listing.The host was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions or text sent. I would highly recommend staying here. We had a great time.

The property is a little older, but clean and well appointed. The deck is big with a great view of the lake and nice outdoor furniture. The dock has two slips and was fun to fish off of with my grandson. The beds were comfortable and having 4 bedrooms was nice. We would definitely stay here again.

This property is absolutely beautiful and perfectly situated on Lake Hamilton. The views of the lake are breath-taking from BOTH platforms. The home was big enough to accommodate my family, mother-n-law, & our pet. We will definitely be rebooking this summer at THIS location. We were within 5 minutes of every major restaurant, grocery store, and other amenities. You will not be disappointed with this property.

The Beds were very comfortable. Our stay was very fun. The only thing was the Patio door kept blowing open until we figured out how to lock it. The deck was very slippery after the rain. Loved the place but would not recommend to small children due to the steep stairs.

We took an end of summer trip with our kids before they head off to college. The house has plenty of rooms and comfortable beds. The kitchen has everything you'd possibly need. There was a note that the ice maker didn't work, so we remedied that with an ice tray from Walmart. The lower level has an awesome dart board and foosball table. The hot water and water pressure were great, didn't know I'd appreciate that so much as an adult. Ha! My only constructive criticism there would be a suggestion to get some new bathmats. The best feature of the house (in our opinion) was the amazing deck! The furniture is comfortable and the views are so nice!! We didn't use them, but there's a grill and Blackstone and a great table to enjoy your meals outside. Definitely recommend for a family getaway or a friends trip!

The 5 of us so enjoyed our time in the lake. The house was huge and had plenty of room for all of us. Our favorite place was sitting in the deck watching boaters go by. Our neighbor even showed us a turtle laying eggs between our houses. When we weren’t on the lake we played several rounds of foosball.The people in town were very friendly and welcoming. We’d definitely do this again.

Very nice location. Close to everything you could need or want to do. Boat rental on the corner is great for a chance to explore the lake. The only down side was the a/c was acting up (83* in the house). A quick text to owner and a service man was sent out to us immediately. Tip: turn the econo mode on the a/c off or it will stop every 2 hours.

Nice lake house equipped with pretty much everything you need. Location was great and close to pretty much everywhere and everything in Hot Springs for us. Nice neighborhood with nice neighbors passing by on walks, I’d picked this house again. We did have one problem but the owners had someone out right away and it didn’t affect our stay at all. The air conditioner worked great, beds were comfy, spacious enough for our family of 10, hot water lasted for all showers, plenty of pots, pans, and utensils. We spent a lot of time on the deck it’s very nice.

The communication with Roger was great he responded quickly to all my concerns. House has everything you need as far as utensils in the kitchen including plates and glasses. Beds were very comfortable my whole group stated that. The house could use a good cleaning especially on the outside, the deck had some nails sticking up and some splintering planks which are not good for bare feet. A good power wash on it would make a huge difference especially on the back side and the door frame areas. Had to clean all the build up of ashes in the grill to use. Overall a nice stay just put about two good days of cleaning and fixing a few things and this property would be beautiful. Being right on the lake would make it very special.

The pictures were deceiving online, made rooms look bigger and nicer than what they actually were. Outside was very dirty with cob webs and bugs all over the door and siding, which is the first thing you see when going into the house. The setting was beautiful and beds slept great, showers were amazing but all of the TV 's need to be updated and only had antenna in bedrooms which 2 of the 4 didn't work at all. The deck is rotting and shotty in areas that felt like they could break at any moment. They blamed most of this on "out of season" but they had a week to get out ready for us. I let the owner know when something was wrong each time and hope these things get fixed.. it could be a real nice place!
