Disappointing

Good location, big, self contained ground floor.

Shower and towel rails broken, upstairs people partied very loudly all night for 2/3 nights, no power on last night to checkout. No response from owner.

The painting smell is awful. The window could not be locked. A man could suddenly knock your door to repair it at night. You never know when and who he was. The furniture and kitchen was not clean enough.

Bad customer service. No hot water and contacted the host and could not advise me properly on what to do. there was a cockroach which I had to kill.

The bed was comfortable and the location is very good. It's s nice neighborhood and close to the sea and the old town. The price per night would have been perfectly fine if everything would have been as advertised

One electrical socket is falling out of the wall, could be dangerous. Between bathroom and room a door is needed urgently (maybe consider a folding door). We were disappointed that there wasn't even any equipment to make coffee or tea, even though a basic kitchen corner was advertised

We literally slept in our car.

The owner literally refused to tell us where the property WAS. There was no physical address and no picture of the exterior. He sent me a ping but it was to the same wrong place. HIs suggestion was that I merely "walk around" until I found it, at 10:00 at night with my small children. I went to the address he finally gave me and it looked like something out of "hostel." He insisted it wasn't the place but couldn't be bothered to tell me WHERE THE PLACE WAS. We slept in our car. Do not recommend.

Host was rude.

I did not like that there were no doors between the rooms.

the location was great!

the shower soaked all the floor, it was like having a pool, and without anything to dry it, it was very uncomfortable to walk around with wet feet.

The Portuguese people made everything bearable. I love them.

Location & fairly quiet this time of year.

burn holes in the bedspread. water all over the top of the bureau and dripping on the floor (probably from the little refrigerator. Rack in the bath was coming out of the wall.

Very central location. Clean. Okay and good value if you don’t plan to spend much time in the room. WiFi works fine.

Shower/toilet in the room seperated by a shower curtain only and no ventilation. Main lights not working. Mouldy smell, poor ventilation.

There was a horrible smell of mold in the apartment. We have not decided to stay there because the air seemed toxic. The apartment was on the ground floor so it was impossible to leave the window open for the night.

Seamless experience with the pin code for the key. Contactless experience. Staff were super kind and let us check out late.

Location is good.

It's good enough for two people but not good for three. The bed/sofa for the third person is not good (matress is uneven and it makes a lot of noise). Also, there was hot water in the evening but no hot water in the morning, maybe it was an easy fix but it shouldn't happen. Sheets were clean but the duvet was not.

Ok to stay but beware of false allegations from owner. Not the best place

Mosquitoes were there Street was noisy Privacy not there until windows closed Internet issues Owner accused after the stay that utensils were missing and to charge extra for nothing. This was ridiculous. Better to take pictures when you check in. Had to clean apartment ourselves even during long stay. Not even for one day cleaning was done by cleaning staff. They provided cleaning products
