Clean, bright spacious rooms. Nice to use the garage and not park on street. Neighborhood was quiet and enjoyed seeing the wildlife.
Would like to see ceiling fans in all bedrooms and firmer mattress.

A great place to go to and relax at the end of the day.

This is a clean and comfortable property with a great layout (master bedroom in the basement, others on the 2nd floor so there's a full floor between you and your kids!), nice deck and firepit, neighborhood deer wandering through the yards at all hours, quiet area but really close to downtown, 3 bathrooms, all the amenities (except AC but you don't need it even in summertime). Great value for the area and for what you get.

This house worked perfectly for our family weekend. The location worked great for us and it was on a quiet street that was great with having little kids. Would stay at this house again.

I don’t always do reviews, but I will for this house. It was more than we expected. I don’t think I can find a negative to it at all. This home is clean, beautifully and tastefully decorated, and more than what they show. It’s tucked away on a quiet cul de sac with all the privacy you want. Equipped with everything you need. Kitchen is well stocked. Bedrooms are large and beds are comfy. There is a grill and a nice deck with plenty of seating to sit and enjoy the outdoors. I would highly recommend this home and will definitely look for it if we visit Duluth again.

Cute house with a great layout. Lots of parking available. Two really good size full baths with a bonus powder room. Comfy beds. Lots of pillows and towels. Well equipped kitchen with spices and oils. Thank you! Nice gathering space. Would stay here again. I like saving $ booking through evolve.com

Quiet neighborhood near College of St Scholastica and UMD. Easy walking distance to Hartley Nature Center for hiking. Nice size house and rooms, clean and comfortable.

We mistakenly reserved this property thinking that it was ok to bring our dog there, and moved to a different property when we realized our mistake. Beautiful home, spotless, quiet neighborhood, saw multiple deer, wish we could've stayed!

The house is wonderful. Very clean. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook just about anything. Lots of extra towels, pillows, comforters. Have stayed there before and would definitely stay there again.

my sister and I stayed for 7 days. The house was very comfortable and relaxing. Loved having a bathroom on every level. Nice big kitchen to cook in. The deer were especially entertaining.

Everything we needed. A couple of the remote controls were dead. Manager should change batteries periodically.

The cops greeted us
Shortly after we entered the house with the provided code, the alarm went off and we waited outside for the cops to arrive, so a poor first impression. Here's some of the cons from our recent stay.
-Security alarm and cops greeted us rather than a warm house and shoveled walk. The cops were very patient and accommodating.
-No smart TV so we couldn't watch what we wanted to to relax and enjoy ourselves.
-Light remote battery died, and therefore lights did not work in the dining room, so after it gets dark at 5pm we had to eat in the kitchen where there is no seating, or the living room at the coffee table.
-thermostat kept on reverting back to a schedule, so had to monitor and change it each morning and night several times.
Dealing with 2 different parties, Evolve and Don (and his daughter), also made this very cumbersome. Just a huge time suck.
Otherwise the house was close to as advertised, and the neighborhood was quiet. Unfortunately it was near impossible to relax with all these small issues, and after the initial greeting. We did book the house just over a day before our stay, so it was short notice, but no response from either Evolve (the VRBO lister) or Don (the house owner) within that time after multiple emails and VRBO messages is unacceptable in my opinion. I will be very wary of any listing not by the actual property owner after this; I've never had such delayed and cumbersome communication before, or ever had to communicate outside the VRBO messaging platform. They did decide to ultimately refund 1 of our nights (minus any additional fees), which also took several emails and phone calls.

Great Duluth location
The spacious 3+ bedroom split level was a great base for my family to gather for the winter holiday. Close enough to downtown Duluth but not on one of the crazy hills made me happy. The kitchen is well stocked-we cooked and baked up a storm. The bedrooms and living room are comfortable. Near Hartley Park which has lovely trails. Can very highly recommend.

Wonderful winter vacation!
Our family had a wonderful week in Duluth. The house is perfect; comfortable, clean, and stocked with everything you need. It is minutes to Hartley Nature Center where there are great xc ski trails. Several other xc ski trails are only 10-15 minutes away, and there are also a couple of well maintained outdoor skating rinks close by. Our kids also loved tubing at Spirit Mountain. This house is in a perfect location for accessing all sorts of fun in Duluth. We'd definitely stay again!

This property allowed us to have a great weekend in the Duluth area while avoiding restaurants and crowded hotels in this COVID time. We were comfortable and the children particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife that roamed the area every evening.

Perfect in Every Way
Our family gathered in Duluth for a wedding. The home was perfect in every way. Clean and beautiful. . Great backyard with beautiful window overlooking trees and falling leaves. Quiet neighborhood with no traffic. Close to grocery store which was great because the kitchen and dining room table allowed for preparation of many family meals. The living room provided space for family and television for the Badger Game. Very happy in every way. Thank you

Great House!
We had a great stay at this house. It was clean and a perfect size for our group, who was up for the marathon weekend. We enjoyed the backyard and the big TV. The area is very quiet and wooded, which was nice. We were fairly close to everywhere we wanted to go and there was a nice grocery store a couple of minutes away. The kitchen was a good size and was well stocked with cooking supplies. The only downside to the house is that sound carries very easily from the upstairs bedrooms/bathroom into the living room, which made it feel a little less private. Overall it fit our needs very well though!

Great Rental
This property is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, where ones every need has been carefully provided.
My only regret of booking this property is I only stayed three days.

Quiet convenient and nice
Enjoyed the home, it was lovely and we saw wildlife everyday roaming the yard. Only negative is how the nightly rate doubled after all the fees from the different mgmt. companies involved were applied.

The home was perfect for our girls' weekend!!
The beds were comfy, the home was well furnished. Very comfortable living and dining area. The downstairs bathroom was huge so three of us could do our hair and makeup at the same time. The sectional in the living room and the electric fireplace made it a great place to hang out and relax. We enjoyed our stay very much! The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. The back deck and fenced in backyard made a relaxing outside retreat.
