We rented this property for a week for my family. We loved fishing from the dock, keeping our boat at the dock and the outdoor fire and sitting area.
My family was comfortable and found the property clean. The owner quickly replied with answers to our questions.

Close to the water. Owner friendly- very kind when lost key (should have combo lock, all places we have stayed have combo locks)
Pros-3 bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, comfy living room set.
Cons- while relaxing outside owners son came over mowing the lawn while we were sitting outside.
Beds are very firm n pillows flat (didn't get much sleep- left day early) Smelled alittle, think maybe from older items in house.
Feel house would have better welcoming if less large items- very crowded. Hit toes on metal of coffee table a few times.
Slept downstairs and couldn't use closet due to large recliner in way n large tv/drawer unit. Left clothes in suitcase.
Just giving our view of stay. Owner is very nice lady!

The cabin was located in a beautiful waterfront wooded setting. It was so lovely to have coffee or wine on the dock. An outside fire ring is available, but weather took us inside to use the wood fireplace. Sparkling clean and well stocked. Ann our host, was very accommodating and easy to reach. We would definitely stay again!

Door County does live up to a great place to visit 😊 already planning another trip back.
Our host was very responsive to any questions. Other than no control over the weather we had a great visit. Definitely a 5 star place to stay!!!

Ann provided a wonderful time away for myself and my elderly parents. The cabin was exactly as pictured and the owner went out of her way to see that we were satisfied and needed nothing! The cabin was set up to accommodate my limited mobility parents, allowing them (and me) to fully relax. Only suggestion would be to maybe add a handrail outside in the single step into the cabin, but even that we were able to work around! Thank you for providing a wonderful getaway!

Fabulous Stay in Sturgeon Bay!
Two 55 year old friends book a place annually in the Sturgeon Bay/DC area for 4 days of relaxation, wine, fires, and exploring nature/parks. We have stayed at 10 (plus) places over the years, and this is our favorite.
PROS:
Location! Minutes from downtown, but so quiet and great locale.
Fires! Many places in DC are packed tight to the neighbors, and you truly feel packed in. The yard was so ample that we never felt we were disturbing neighbors when we had a fire or sat outside. This is REALLY unusual for the riverfront area of Sturgeon Bay.
The House! The house had everything we needed (and more). After we got settled, we were thrilled at the amenities, furniture, patio furniture. It was GREAT!
The Owner! Anne was fabulous to work with. VERY responsive and helpful.
The beds! I am a bed snob. My bed (first floor) was so comfortable! My friend (second floor bedroom) reported having a great night sleep as well.
The House! Great to have a washer/dryer unit, well stocked with towels, TP, etc. Plus, it is a cute house once you get settled.
CONS: There really were none. This was a great experience, and we will be booking again for next year.
Thanks, Anne, for sharing your fabulous place with us! The dock was an added bonus, as we sat out there for hours and watched the boats pass.
Do not hesitate to book, this house was great in all aspects!

Nice Cabin on Water
Very peaceful setting on the water where you can watch birds and have a fire. Very close to everything in the area. Comfy beds and clean.

Responsive owner
Ann was very responsive when we reported a musty or smoky smell in the cabin. The bed were comfortable. Outdoor table was nice as well as fire pit. A few suggestions to enhance the experience:
1. Clean out the kitchen cupboards and refrigerator of old food- the clutter makes if appear dirty although the cabin was very nicely cleaned.
2. Take stock and update kitchen items (new knives, more beverage glasses, etc.)
3. Remove some furniture in the bedrooms to allow more room for guests to easily move around.

Great property, very comfortable. Beautiful view. Close to town but still had that "out in the woods" feel. Would highly recommend this property, we would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location! Beautiful home! Gracious host!
Traveling with my 90 year old mom can be tricky as she cannot navigate stairs. Our host was amazing with making us feel welcome in her home and my mom had the best week just sitting in the comfy sofa and watching the boats or tv. I would love to spend another week there in the future and it is great to know that it is pretty handicap accessible. Four words to describe our stay? Safe, clean, beautiful and relaxing.
