About this apartment rental

This recently built casita is located in a quiet neighborhood just 3 miles from Kanab city center. It has a mini kitchen with ample counter space. The kitchen also includes a mini-fridge, two burner stove, toaster oven, microwave and coffee maker. The casita has one king size bed. It has an outdoor table and seating at the kitchen counter. There is also a walk-in-closet with plenty of storage space. The casita is on the lower level of the home of the owners and has its own entrance. The owners live upstairs and although they are very respectful of their guests, footsteps are audible. They recently adopted two puppies and you may hear the pitter patter of little feet. The puppies do not bark often but if you hear barking look outside and you may see a herd of deer in the yard! It is a short walk to dinosaur tracks and hiking trails.

Disclosure: We did install a motion activated video doorbell. It is on the house not on the casita.

This property was extremely clean, comfortable, and easy to locate. The property manager was excellent and even provided a binder full of things she recommends in the area (restaurants, hiking trails, sights, etc.) - she thought of everything. Highly recommend this property.

We loved our stay here. The space was perfect for my husband & I. It had everything we needed and even though the space is small, it is well thought out and we had plenty of space for all our stuff. The host was very responsive and took care of all our needs. The host thought of everything to make our stay great! Would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed the stay very much, the description of the the place was accurate even down to you may hear the prancing of our little dogs upstairs, didn’t mind it at all. Location is a little out of way but a very nice neighborhood with a couple of hiking path near by. Would recommend this place; 5 stars!

We had the greatest stay here and would highly recommend it. The hosts are friendly and accomadating and the property is close (driving distances) to many great parks like Zion, Bryce, etc. The place was clean and lovely!

We loved our stay in this nicely decorated, lovely casita. It was the perfect location for our outings to Zion, Bryce, Antelope, and Grand Canyons. We enjoyed the fact that it was in a quiet location with a beautiful trail behind the house. The bed was very comfortable and the unit was well equipped. We did hear the dogs, but that was rare. Thanks for a wonderful place for us to stay.

We had a great time in Kanab UT. This was a great little place for me and my wife to make a home base. We even were able to cook meals on the two-burner stove. Emily was very responsive to anything we may have needed which wasn't much! All the amenities were included—plenty of utensils, cookware, and dishes for a very comfortable stay. I would recommend this for anyone.

This property is perfect! Even the mini kitchen is WELL stocked with cooking tools. Lots of extra blankets to stay cozy. For the tall people, we are 6'1 and 6'4, the shower head had plenty of hight for a non-back bending shower. You would be silly to not stay here!

This property is perfect for a couple, and the location to the parks could not be better. The host offered many little touches that were not expected. One was to provide an extensive notebook of information which included nearby hikes, restaurants, and sights. The host was also very responsive to any questions that way had once we arrived. I cannot say enough good things about this experience.

We loved this overnight stay in Kanab. It was in a beautiful neighborhood and the casita was very clean and had everything we needed for our night. I loved the extra touches of the maps for places around the area and all the button instructions for the remotes to run various things. Thanks Emily for the chocolate bar, apples, and amazing stay. We had a wonderful time staying at Emily’s casita in Kanab. It is well situated for exploring the beautiful area and there are even hiking trails near Emily’s home and we enjoyed one of them ourselves. We would recommend this place for anyone who wants a studio that is centrally located between Bryce, Zion and the north rim of the Grand Canyon.

Emily created a very comfortable, private space. The kitchen area was small but well-equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed eating our meals on the outdoor patio. Emily paid careful attention to all sorts of details, including a very nice welcome basket of coffee and snacks. It was also very nice being in a quiet residential area rather than on the main highway through Kanab. I would highly recommend staying at Emily's "casita."

This little place is perfect for two. Only about 1.5 hrs max into Zion. We drove in and back for 3 days no problems. The fridge fits a medium pizza and the bed is so comfy!! 10/10 perfect perfect. Hosts are great :)

Great view from the hilly side of "the Ranchos," a suburb of Kanab with a little private entrance/patio away from the street. The room was immaculate which immediately allowed me to relax knowing the owners care. I plan to be back because I work in the area and occasionally stay overnight. A big THANK YOU to my hosts!
