About this house rental
Situated on 20 acres in the wine region of Willunga, The WineMaker’s Cottage is the perfect place for you and your partner, two couples or a family of four. Surrounded by vineyards, it is just a five minute drive to the historic township of Willunga, ten minutes to the renowned wine area of McLaren Vale, or a ten minute drive to some of the best beaches in Australia, making The WineMaker’s Cottage the perfect location for your stay.
Comprising a living and dining area, kitchenette, bathroom and two bedrooms, the main with a king bed and the second with a queen, The WineMaker’s Cottage has rustic charm with a modern twist. There is also a verandah area with a BBQ and seating. You will also receive a complimentary bottle of wine from the region, a fresh baked loaf of sourdough bread, chocolates, local milk and of course tea, coffee, butter and all the trimmings on arrival.
You will be spoilt for choice with all the wineries, restaurants, pubs and beaches on your doorstep. There is also the Willunga Farmer’s Market held every Saturday morning, which is a must. In January the Tour Down Under runs right past the end of our road, and just a short drive away in McLaren Vale and surrounding areas there are many other events throughout year, including A Day on the Green and the Sea & Vines Festival. However, if you are just looking for somewhere to get away and relax, you’ll have everything at hand to just kick back and take it easy.

Delightful cottage that had everything we needed for our weekend in the Willunga - McLaren Vale region. Comfortable and serene whether inside or sitting under the verandah. And so close to everything we did. We had a wonderful weekend and would love to do it again!

Perfect Location
My sister and brother in-law came down from Sydney for the October Long Weekend, and with them being wine lovers, the location was very important so as to maximise everything that the Fleurieu had to offer.
This property was exactly where we needed to be!
2 minutes out of Willunga and 15 minutes from McLaren Vale, every winery was definitely within reach.
Rhiannon was the perfect host, and the communication was prompt. Nothing was too difficult, especially when we were running a bit late from enjoying the Willunga markets, Rhiannon had no issues, and just left the house open for us to come as we pleased.
The accommodation itself was very clean with everything that we needed.
The complementary wine and sour dough were a great touch, and came in handy for a ploughman's tea after a big day of wine tasting and a long lunch.
Thanks very much Rhiannon for allowing us to visit your beautiful property and for your welcoming hospitality, we will definitely visit again and have no hesitation in recommending to family and friends!

Gorgeous getaway!
We loved our stay at this special little cottage. It was exceptionally clean and we were left a lovely welcoming package. The bedrooms felt so luxurious and we loved the view of the vines from the lounge area.
We visited the Willunga markets on Saturday morning and had a late lunch at Ekhidna in McLaren Vale.
We loved that the property was quiet but still close to both Willunga and McLaren Vale.
Highly recommend this property.

Clean, Neat, Gorgeous!
We had a lovely stay at Rhiannon's Cottage! The place feels new, is styled to perfection and is lovely and clean! We stayed with another couple and there was plenty of room for us all! It was a fabulous base for our weekend spent visiting wineries and wedding - secluded amoungst the vines..

Lovely stay
This property has a lovely position in the vineyards and the owners have done a fantastic job to create a private space for guests to enjoy. We found it a bit of a squeeze for 4 adults, but for 2 it would be perfect, and we'd definitely love to return on that basis. Thanks for a great stay!
