Enjoyed a friendly welcome from the owner who showed us around the lovely apartment. Great location in a quiet town close to the N2. Everything you need inside, well decorated, modern and clean. Lovely little outside area too.

As we departed- not to be misPaulo was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, great heating, beautiful garden out back and he did a large load of washing for us as we had been in a hotel for a week. Lovely small town, great supermarket, bakery, butcher nearby and we had a stunning visit to the viewpoint and walkway at Cerro do Candosa as we departed. Lovely view back to the town and surrounding valley.
Nothing.

Great location very close to main attractions in the area.
The entire house is heated, so no issues with the cold.
Very close to a mid size supermarket (5m on foot).
Overall very comfortable and great option to explore near by places.
Kitchen could be a bit better equipped with wine glasses for instance, but nothing major to point out here.

It has an amazing little garden, barbecu and other facilities. very very clean, specially due to Covid-19, they clean all the rooms with special cleaning methods. The hotel is in a tiny cute village, so there is no restaurants around but markets and cafes. Góis is very close and worth to visit. Sandra who runs the hotel is an amazing host, she gave us all the important and useful information right after our arrival. The hotel provides bicycles and we ridden bicycle to Góis through lovely wood. I loved our time there!

Lovely spacious bedroom, warm welcoming atmosphere, beautiful private sitting area (garden), we were treated as friends & all requests were more than adequately met. The Portantiqua is a wonderful base from which to explore the countryside.
It was a little chilly in the mornings - the heat comes on a bit later in the day & it is very cozy in the evening; we were there in winter & I would still visit again at that time but would have liked a warmer kitchen in the morning (in other seasons one would have one’s coffee outside where there is lots of seating)

Beautiful apartment with lovely garden. Very quiet, in centre of the village with free parking outside and a local supermarket. Friendly people in the village, good walking nearby. Lovely family members who were always on hand to answer any queries. Warm with central heating.
Nothing.
