Corner apartment with incredible views.
Too much furniture taking up space. Carpets needed shampooing.

Spectacular view with large windows, fantastic location, quick access to beach and shops. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked with what we needed. Nice extras, such as the binoculars. Host was communicative. The condo was definitely clean but the smell/products need to be replaced. Window were very clean - cleaner came by while we were there (appreciated window cleaning schedule posted on the refrigerator so we weren't surprised).
check-in at 4:00 and out at 10:00 is the shortest stay we've ever had anywhere in the world, and we travel frequently. I asked for a 3:00 check-in and it was automatically denied, which seemed unwelcoming. Typical hours of 3:00 and 11:00 would have made a huge difference in our trip, given how short our stay was. The condo smelled bad when we first walked in (musty with an attempt to cover it with strongly-scented cleaner). We had to air it out immediately as I was even feeling itchy from the cleaner and I'm really not that picky. The mattress needs to be replaced. The furniture is dated but functional and it was fine - kinda goes with the laid-back Oregon Coast vibe.

Nice location to town. Nice view of the ocean. But beach access was not direct, but rather a short walk down the street and around the corner.
Outdated and uncomfortable bed and sleeper couch. Outdated kitchen items, hit and miss on what was provided.

I loved the view and that the facilities were clean, safe and quiet during quiet hours.
My room was nice, though I would like to suggest someone look at how to have less furniture. Maybe let the coffee table go (and the piano). It was hard to use the hide-a-bed with all the furniture you had to move.

View and location was absolutely incredible. The place could use some updating and new carpet. 100 yard walk to the beach, shopping and great food, with views from the port to the tallest lighthouse in Oregon.
Place was decorated in 1990 and untouched since. Maybe a new chair or two, but the TV's didn't match the internet service, the carpet was holding a cigarette odor, noticable over the sea breeze.

I liked the view and location.
Overall, the apartment needs a refresh, new carpet, and furnishings need an upgrade. Due to that, I say it is overpriced.

Gorgeous view! Great location! Walking distance to Nye Beach Historic District. Very good price per night. Well stocked kitchen. Two bathrooms. Elevator. Assigned parking space.
The furniture was low lying. This made it hard to see the ocean from the inside of the house. One of the blinds was damaged and hard to pull up.

The view!
The whistling window in the kitchen.

The views were amazing! The property was exactly as described. With the apartment being on the corner you had amazing views of Nye Beach and the lighthouse. Several restaurants and shops within walking distance in a nice quaint area of Newport.
The noise level from above apartment, you could hear every step they took? It also would be a nice upgrade to have a key pad for entry, instead of a key entry. Vacas was always very quick to answer text message with any questions.

Loved the location. Easy to walk to the Nye Beach shops and restaurants, as well as the beach. Easy to sit and enjoy the view of beach and ocean from directly in back of the beach whether from the spacious deck or inside the living room. 2 full size bathrooms were nice. Appreciated the refrigerator being on and cold rather than having to turn it on and wait for it to cool down. Parking for one car was convenient and so was the elevator to help get you up to the middle floor.
I didn’t like that all of the living room seating was low. Made it difficult for older folks to get out of. I could not get the pop up leg rest in the recliner to retract without getting out of the chair (remember the low seating position, which made it that much harder) and pushing it back once standing up. Some minor fixing up needs doing: the recliner had tape on its back, wasn’t sure why, the wall near the floor at the deck entrance looks like it’s going to crumble soon.

The view of the ocean is spectacular. Location great. Two bathrooms.

In a non critical way, this condo reminds me of a grandma & grandpa's beach cabin. I fell in love as soon as I walked through the door. Has a great simple & very comfortable patina to everything. When I made my reservation, I based it off the photos & thought I was getting a great value. Took me less than 24 hours to request an extension to stay longer. I also went for the late check out, not that I stayed that much longer, but it was a comfortable morning of getting ready to vacate.
The unit face North by West. West exterior was is all patio door & nearly floor to ceiling window. North, towards Yaquina Lighthouse. Which, by the way you have a spectacular view of... even through the pea soup fog, you see the beacon wink at you in a timely rhythm. I spent a lot of time sitting in the chairs just look out over the beach, ocean & light house. The view is absolutely stunning. I would not be able to compliment enough.
Understanding I am down here a week & a half before Christmas, but the whole complex was extremely quiet. I fear I may have been the loudest person here. I have not lived in a shared wall situation since 2011 & continued to forget common wall etiquette (talking on speaker phone, eclectic music select few love). But I heard no complaints, so maybe I am a little paranoid!!
The unit was clean, plenty for coffee filters, utensils, dishes, towels, soaps & everything you need for a relaxing stay... Look at me; going on to beat the band! In short, I would live here if I could!!
Someone had removed the screens from the faucet in the bathroom. I am unsure for what purpose someone would do this?!?!?! Wink... But I get it. But just so you know, the water gets a little splashy. You have been warned... if you bring a new partner of an amorous type along, you may have an awkward conversation about how you did not spray on your self :)
