It was right next to Santa Fortunata Campground, and we were able to access their amenities. There was a small restaurant, camp store, and shuttle into Sorrento.
The bugs!!! We got eaten alive every night.

Stefano was a fantastic host and told us all the information we needed,we went on 2 great trips organised by Stefano, this is a unique little place and is so personal compared to staying in a hotel.
The bar is brilliant with beautiful views across sorrento.
The restaurant was lovely but unfortunately there was large groups of children from the nearby campsite which made it very noisy.

We had an amazing stay here . The staff were wonderful and friendly. Nice pool and beach and fabulous views. The location was perfect and provided a really good shuttle bus. It was by far the nicest place we stayed in throughout our trip of touring the coast as a group of 3 girls. We will be back for sure . Thank you very much ☺️
Absolutely nothing .

The hosts were lovely , so welcoming and kind and the area is beautiful
Quite a far walk from sorrento town Center , around 20 minutes , 1/2 of which is on a road with no footpaths , but there is a bus if you are willing to wait

Beautiful property with amazing views over Sorrento. Very tranquil and peaceful with a lovely local beach. A good regular shuttle service was available to take you into the centre of town, so the location (being a little bit out of town) wasn’t an issue
The site bar at the view point was unfortunately not open during our stay. The room was very light during the night since there is a solar powered outside light right outside the door - this was very bright throughout the night.

The Host meet us on arrival and made us feel like we were meeting family. So welcoming, helping us to get settled within the grounds. It is a beautiful location offering amazing views and great opportunities for photos. A real idyllic setting with an amazing family feel.
The host and staff were so nice and helpful with everything, going above and beyond.
Navigating the terrain was difficult with the buggy. But was manageable. Accept that it is not the best location for a buggy but it can be done.
The private beach is not a beach and is not usable for small children. Only useable for adults.

The host Stefano and his guys were so lovely and helpful. Anything we needed, they were right there to provide. They helped us book tours and transfers, were so easy to chat with, gave good recommendations for activities. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious.

Location is superb, rustic and authentically Italian! Don't expect luxury but the accommodation has everything you need for a pleasant stay, Good shower, air con etc.... Surrounded by trees with plenty of outdoor space. Adjoining campsite is very nice and peaceful. Lovely swimming pool, great views of Sorrento and a short walk to private rocky beach to relax by the sea. Shuttle bus into Sorrento throughout the day and evening takes around 10 minutes for 1.5 Euro. Great host and lovely staff made us feel truly welcome and always on hand if we needed help or advice.
No real complaints, not easy to walk to as road is narrow and fairly busy. Local bus right outside so not really an issue.

Good value accommodation with lots of facilities on site. We had a helpful host and the staff on site were quick to support when we needed it. The shuttle bus was regular and took us to the centre of Sorrento, and Sorrento is a great place to stay as a base for a trip to the Amalfi Coast and Naples.
The location isn’t walkable from town as there’s no pavement and a busy winding road to get to the property up hill. Our room was also very basic and smelled a bit of damp.

We stayed for 11 days, and it was a good base to explore the Amalfi coast, Naples, and Capri. Stefano was really nice and always tried to help us. His employees were also very helpful and kind. The little onsite store was great and had a small deli. Their shuttle bus that takes you back and forth to downtown Sorrento was awesome. The pool looked really nice.
There were a few things that could be improved, but overall for the price it's still a good value.
-The bathroom door would scrape against the floor when opening and closing it. It should be an easy fix to just cut off a 1/4" from the bottom of the door.
-We wished they had a microwave, it would have come in handy.
-We couldn't get hot water from the kitchen sink or the bathroom sink. We tried turning the knob all the way to the left and right, but only got cold. We did get hot water in the shower.

I don't believe there was one thing that I did not like about this place! Stefano is a great host and went above and beyond to make sure our trip was special. Even down to the tiramisu, everything was great! Highly recommend!!!
There is nothing that I can think of that would made the stay better. Everything was very organized and welcoming, just exactly how I like to feel when far away from home.

Stefano the host of the property made our stay perfect, he was very kind and careful to us. Gaiano Apt is more than a place to stay, it’s a story itself and it’s really a nice experience to hear it from Stefano, serve a glass of wine with the astonishing view to Sorrento coast.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The accommodation, facilities, and location were all great for a family of three, and there was plenty to see and do during our 1 week stay.

Everything we wanted for our Easter break.
Not as close to town as we might have liked.

The apartment's 3 bedrooms were spacious enough for our party of 5 adults, with a sitting room / dining area combined. The surrounding area is beautiful and though we were there in winter the climate was very pleasant and we could walk around a lot. We spent a very pleasant New Years there and had the most awesome views of the fireworks. Sorrento is close by and there is plenty of parking if you have a car. The Amalfi Coast, Capri, Naples, Pompeii etc are all within easy train or taxi range of the apartment. There is also a shuttle from the campsite into Sorrento when the campsite is open. Stefano was a most helpful and welcoming host.
The two bathrooms are small and we are tall so it was a bit tight. The kitchen is also very small if more than one person is in there, the appliances are sufficient if dated. The apartment is situated in a campsite and the whole complex is rather run down and needs some maintenance, the outside areas were very neglected, but hopefully once more tourists start going to Italy now that COVID restrictions are lifted and visiting these beautiful, scenic towns more will be done to maintain the overall outlook.

Nestled in olive groves outside of city center. Bar, restaurant and store right around the corner.
There were a couple mosquitoes.

it was away from the noise of Downtown Sorrento, yet close enough to everything. Stefano was a great host, he has a shuttle from the property to & from just off the main plaza, Piazza Tasso. There is a restaurant on the property that was very reasonable- the pizza was delicious & reasonable. The view from the one patio was amazing- of the bay of Sorrento. we had morning espresso on our deck & wine in the evening on the patio with the view.

The views are breathtaking. Stunning elevated location. Lovely areas to sit and admire your surroundings. Old buildings full of character.

Public transit back and forth to town was inexpensive and surprisingly convenient
Sharing the setting with a lot of campers was a surprise

The host was very easy and quick to return any questions. The facilities on site are very helpful - lovely restaurant, shop, shuttle to own.
There was an ant issue which we could not control during our stay. The host related it to recently wet weather. When alerted he did try to tend to the issue but the buildings are very rustic/old and likely needs some time of sealant to keep the ants out. Wish the shuttle also ran mid day....their is a large gap between 11 am and 5 in which you have to arrange your own transport. It's not a long walk (30 min) but there are no side walks for much of the way.

road was too busy to walk into sorrento but they had a shuttle bus

The location was fine and the restaurant was ok too, with the staff in the restaurant being the best part of the stay.
It was advertised as an apartment but it was just a room, with a small bathroom. There was no kitchen, it was much too small to call an apartment and we didn't last the full seven days there, I wanted to leave after five days but my wife managed to convince me to stay one more night. All we could do in the room was lay on the bed! Our suitcases and bits and pieces were scattered all over the floor, it was a struggle to get around the room. We wasn't told that the Gaiano was actually situated on a campsite which was full of hills everywhere, even up to our 'room' we were walking in mud everywhere, it was a nightmare. We walked down to the bar a couple of times but it wasn't open!

The location is stunning overlooking the bay of sorrento, our host Steffano couldn't have been nicer, he made us feel very welcome and even invited us to a family gathering he held at his property. Fantastic holiday, we'll be back
