What a warm, comfortable and cosy cottage. The perfect place to stay in spa country. Our host was very communicative and the arrival and check in was a breeze. The house was an absolute delight, with spa tub, fireplace and great food for our breakfast. Would highly recommend.

The property is a older style, but has been been renovated inside to be very cosy and comfortable.
Was spotlessly clean.
Beds were comfortable, a nice little wood heater was great.
Plentiful breakfast provisions,
In amongst the trees, so very quiet.
Only point, would be the outside of house needs a little tidy, but overall a great spot for a couple of nights stay.
The owner was very prompt with any questions I had

This was a lovely property and set back from the street, giving it privacy. The little wood heater provided ample heat for the house. plenty of wood was provided. The only negative, which may have been an oversight?? was that the add did say there would be breakfast provisions, but to our disappointment this did not include any milk. Milk aside, we would love to come back to this cute little home :)

We stayed at this property a few years ago and it was just as we remembered. Heater was on before we arrived which was lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was provided but we just had toast. Will stay again as it is clean, quiet and in a great location.

Quiet in a great location
If your after peace and quite, this was great. Lovely with the birds at night. Really close to restaurants and could walk to the springs which was nice as we didn't have to drive (Hepburn). Sharon was very quick to respond to questions. had a great short break there

Great little cottage at affordable price
Clean and comfortable. Very enjoyable stay. Only note is that one bedroom has a bath ensuite (but no shower) and the shower is in the entryway.

Great stay
Our biggest regret over booking this property is that we didn't stay longer!
Thank you to Sharon for organising everything on the property, which was great and so conveniently located in Hepburn. It was the little touches (the breakfast, the heater being on, towels left out, CDs and DVDs for entertainment) that really made this a great stay - we will be back!

A cosy country cottage
Gum Tree Cottage is a very nice and comfortable place to stay, it is very clean and welcoming, upon entering we felt immediately refreshed, thank you for having left the aircon on on a very hot day! It is ideal for two couples as the two bedrooms have queen beds and there are two bathrooms (although only one toilet).
The only thing I found it a little odd is that the entry is via the bathroom (probably an ex laundry) it left me wondering where the main entrance door was. But overall we loved the peace and tranquillity of the cottage.
I will definitely consider staying here again.

Not good response
I haven t got any message from owner before my arriving. I called many times and i was very embarrassed. I found the key by myself finally but I and my friends were very nervous all afternoon.

Amazing! Just what we needed
This was our first time away without kids. We had such a relaxing time. Rubens up the road has amazing food. We ordered take away because the fire in the cottage was just wonderful. Fun board games and an AMAZING breakie. We felt super spoilt and recharged after our stay. Thanks guys!!

Going the extra mile
Enjoyed a lovely short stay with my teenage son for Mother's Day to enjoy a tech-free weekend. While I packed some cards, my son was pulling out the large range of board games supplied, which we had a great time playing. I loved the comfort of everything, from a cosy, plush couch, the thick, large towels, to enjoying nibbles on the decking. The kitchen was extremely well stocked - no feeling of stinginess whatsoever like I have in some places. This is definitely a place we would happily return to.

Wonderful mini break
A friend and I stayed here recently and it was a perfect break. Freezing weather that night, but we lit the fire and between that and the electric blankets, we were very cosy. So well equipped in all ways- DVDs ,good TV, kitchen, comfy couches, linen etc and really clean and comfortable. Owner was responsive to questions. I have recommended to friends.
