About this apartment rental
Modern unit on the top floor of the house with a private terrace and amazing view. It is a three-stories house, that the owner's family also resides in. All three levels has a separate entry, kitchens, etc. Housed in the most picturesque place of West Vancouver. Situated just a block up from Batchelor Bay, and just a few minutes walk to the stunning Whytecliff Park where you can find availability for diving and climbing.
It is cozy and tastefully furnished, in the Whytecliff area, one of the nicest neighbourhoods of West Vancouver. The apartment is lovely with lots of light and very, very attentive hosts. There are two bedrooms: a big one has a queen-size bed, a small one has a single bed (180x110cm).
There is a huge open deck to access from the unit. If you like hiking, you may enjoy a nice trail, which takes the start from the backyard and leads directly to the ocean.
Do not worry about a procedure to get access to the unit. One of our family members will meet you and introduce everything. You must visit Horseshoe Bay Village which is just 15 minutes by foot from our house. There are lots of pubs, restaurants, souvenirs shops around. I would highly recommend Olive and Anchor restaurant. So delicious food!
Also, you may enjoy Horseshoe Bay harbour, mountain view, etc.
There is one off-street parking spot available just beside our white Mazda MPV car, which we do not use now.
NO drag/alcohol/smoking people. NO pats.
No smoking. Not suitable for pets. No parties or events. May not be safe or suitable for infants (Under 2 years). Check-in is anytime after 4 PM. Please:
Remove shoes. There is a shoe tray inside your own entrance.
Be conscious of conserving energy when using lights, gas and water.
Turn the outside light off at the end of the evening.
Additional guests are not permitted without the owner's permission.
This is a smoke-free home.
Quiet hours are between 10:30 pm - 8:30 am.
Please turn on the fan when you are showering.

Great place up in the treetops
This is a beautiful apartment. It's located in far West Vancouver in a nice, quiet, peaceful and heavily wooded neighborhood. The home is actually on the side of a small mountain. The driveway up is steep and there are stairs to get up to the apartment, but we had no problem with it.
The apartment is the top floor of the house. There's a beautiful deck, and when you're outside you're close to treetop level. The apartment was very clean, and includes a nice living room with a TV, a great kitchen with modern appliances, and one bathroom with a great shower. There's one bedroom with a large bed, and a smaller separate room with a smaller bed. It's incredibly quiet in the neighborhood and very peaceful.
The owner Dmitry was very gracious and kindly allowed us to check in a little early. He showed us around the place, told us about things to see in the area and told us to call if we ever needed anything. He moved from Russia a number of years ago and has an accent, but we had no problem understanding him.
We enjoyed being out in West Vancouver and had a great meal in nearby Horseshoe Bay. It's also a perfect starting point if you want to drive up the Sea-to-Sky Highway to Whistler, which we did (and highly recommend). You should be aware that it's probably a 30-minute to one hour drive to downtown Vancouver. If you're headed to Whistler, however, you save that much time getting on the road.
The apartment is clean and comfortable and incredibly quiet and peaceful. We would recommend it to anyone.

Fine apartment.
All earlier reviews are accurate.
It’s a nice place.
It would be five star potential if the beds were not deadly soft.
If you plan to use the second bedroom, it doesn’t have curtains so be prepared to wake up with the sun.
Dimitri was a helpful and pleasant host.

Great location!
Great location. Steep driveway can be challenging to exit. Kitchen needs more items.

Great place!
Great place, very quiet. Roomy apartment, nicely laid out. We loved the deck and start gazing at night (we were there in July, holy mosquitos!). Easy to get to lots of sight seeing and close to downtown Horseshoe Bay and the nearby park. Hosts were very pleasant and responsive.
We found the master bed to be uncomfortable, but otherwise this is a lovely place!

Beautiful apartment.
Olga and Dymitry were wonderful hosts. We loved the apt and location. The only thing was that we prefer firmer mattress. The beds were too soft and saggy for us. If you like soft, then no problem. Other than that, we loved the place. Tom

Clean, Private, Beautiful Place - Wonderful Experience
We are a family of three who stayed here over the Canada Day weekend after a 7 day Alaska cruise. We were looking for a place to stay that was not a typical hotel and was not in the city of Vancouver. Wanted somewhere closer to Squamish, the Sea to Sky Gondola Park and other attractions north of Vancouver. Never tried VRBO before and thought we would try it. Being first timers, we were a little nervous. We were not disappointed. In fact, we had a very positive experience. The place was clean and spacious. The owners were attentive to our needs and wants when we had questions, but were also sensitive to our privacy. We were only sad that we could not stay there longer. They have a wonderful, private deck we couldn't enjoy and there is also a nature trail behind their place we couldn't walk because of time. What that means is if we ever visit Vancouver again, we'll have to stay here!
All in all, a very positive, enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

Just as described
Had a great time on a diving weekend in no small part due to this fine accommodation. Dimity and Olga are both fine hosts, present when needed and absent when not. The home is just as described but be warned that it is on a very steep hill. It's a lovely place for those whom stairs and hills are not an issue. If that doesn't describe you it's not a good fit.
But for us three divers, in town to get wet, it was a great place to try out at night. The porch is a wonderful space to hang out and there is nothing like feeling like one is in a forest in the city. Deposit was refunded with out issue and I can't wait for my next chance to visit again and dive the local waters. Thank you for having us, it was much fun. :)

Great location in Horseshoe Bay, great stay.
The owners are lovely, very pleasant, helpful and respect privacy. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had a full kitchen. The neighbourhood is amazing, very safe, walking distance to parks on the water, and 2 min drive to Horseshoe bay for lovely restaurants and to catch the ferry. This was our home base as we travelled to Vancouver downtown and area, Vancouver Island, Squamish and Whistler for day trips. Great experience.

Green Oasis
This is a very nicely maintained property in a quiet location. The owner is very friendly and the place is kept in pristine condition. Visiting nearby beaches and the Horseshoe Bay Harbour was a treat, and we had fantastic weather during our stay.
