Trust your gut.

The area has a lot of foot traffic, and the parking lot has a lot of loitering. Also the police stop by a lot for whatever reason. There's no one in the office to check out early, so you'll probably be charged an extra day like I was.

The traffic to the building all night was ridiculous, no heat in the room, no cable, door handle broke. The traffic to and from feels like a drug haven hang out.

Informed credit card machine was stolen so had to photocopy my ID and email to 3rd party. Now wondering if ID compromised. Two doors down open drug dealings. Permanent renters with unlicensed cars, stained carpet, fridge not working, police presence on property and then in the morning large pile of dog feces on upper walkway. Worst of all two people shooting up while we squeezed past them on the balcony walkway. Worst sleep ever wondering if our vehicle was safe.

The bed wasn't made on arrival. The credit card scanner was stolen, so they requested cash only. I had to wait 20 minutes for the person to come and open the office. I didn't even stay there

Cheep place at a cheep price

Sheets and beds were spotless, but not in great condition. Decent pillows, tiny working fridge. View out the window was incredible. Nice new-ish single chair to sit in by the window.

Some cigarette burn holes in the sheets, but no stains. The room was thoroughly cleaned, but had carpet stains, and someone had painted the wall and door with nail polish at some point. Hard to check-in as the office was closed and locked, said to text, but I wait 30 minutes and never got a text back until the manager just stumbled out of the door, clearly surprised to see anyone there.
