The house is beautifully remodeled. The wood work is amazing. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed.

The house was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for us so that we had a two minute walk to the store, restaurant, shops. Virtually around the corner from Fox Run Golf.
The owner could not have been more responsive and helpful regarding check-in and house information. Would definitely come back.

This property was perfect for our family. There was plenty of room and privacy for everyone, and our pups loved walking to the public park at the end of the quiet street. We LOVE older homes and adored the charm of the 1900’s house: gorgeous floors, staircase, woodwork, back stair, and vintage lighting. Checkin and communication with the host were excellent, Host provided outstanding info about the property and surrounding area, and grocery, etc were all super convenient. Our only suggestion: the showers, bath mats, etc could use just a little better cleaning. However, this was minor when considering how well the property met all of our other needs. Thanking the host for a great stay!

Perfect!! The house was exactly as described. The location couldn’t be better if you are going to Okemo Ski Mountain. Shopping and restaurants are all within walking distance. Craig was a pleasure to communicate with. Very fast to respond to any question we had. I would highly recommend staying here.

This was the perfect place for our families to utilize as home base on a quick ski trip. Plenty of space for everyone, and close to everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing time staying at this home. The location was great. So close to Okemo and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Big house with lots of space, comfortable furniture, historic charm and updated amenities. Very clean and comfortable. Owners were nice and responsive. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Would definitely stay here again! My family has a tradition of visiting Vermont every other year at Thanksgiving to support local businesses and enjoy beautiful Ludlow and surrounding areas. We really enjoyed our time here, and the furnishings and beds were very comfortable. The three bedrooms upstairs accommodated the three couples very well and the home had all the space and modern conveniences we needed along with some lovely period details. It was nice to have a separate dining room with table and chairs, as well as requisite cookware/serveware to be able to have a festive sit down meal for 6 adults. We wanted a home managed by owners, not a management company. The hosts were responsive (particularly before we arrived) and helped us coordinate a successful stay. They thoughtfully provided everything we needed - thank you to Diane and Craig! We appreciated being able to bring our well-behaved dog, and the property's lower level layout with Dutch door between kitchen and back bathroom/mudroom area worked well (even with two snowfalls during our stay!) Being able to walk to restaurants, two cute coffee shops, and shopping was very convenient. Location is great and we felt the property had excellent balance of privacy, quiet and convenience.

3 adults and a dog fit comfortably into this quirky but lovely home. Some observations: Bunk beds are actually in the upstairs hallway; nice old wooden pantry cupboards were jumbled up, as was the upstairs linen closet. Most challenging was the lingering cigarette smoke; host alerted us as we were driving up and refunded the cleaning fee immediately. We opened windows & doors & sprayed Febreze on carpets, cloth couches, rugs, bed covers. So, a bit sloppy behind doors, lingering smoke, and upstairs BA is tiny. But--it was a very short drive to Okemo and an easy walk to several good restaurants and interesting stores. Hosts very very responsive--we locked ourselves out by accident and Diane replied very quickly with helpful info.

The location and house are both great. The only recommendation would be for owner to de-clutter kitchen cabinets, there was no room for groceries at all. Second floor shower needs to be updated. The rest of the house was great....I would recommend.

Smoke filled house. Plenty of room but not organized. Lots of personal belongs cluttering the areas especially the kitchen.

Great house in Ludlow
Our family and another family stayed at this lovely Victorian house for 4 nights for a ski vacation. The house was very clean, comfortable and spacious and was very convenient to everything in the area. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with pots/pans, dishes, and glassware and a dishwasher. We really appreciated these details as we ate most meals at the house.
Since the weather wasn’t the greatest for skiing, we took some day trips to Woodstock and Rutland, both of which were easy, scenic drives from Ludlow.

Convenient, Comfotable, & Cozy! Couldn’t have asked for more
We had a wonderful stay at this centrally located home. The house has so much character and has been updated nicely. The owners were wonderful and so responsive when we had a very minor incident with the WiFi, which was fixed within hours. We really appreciated that they allowed our sweet dog to stay. It was so nice to be in town, across from the grocery store, around the corner from the ski shop, & just down the hill from Clocktower. Our kids loved the back staircase too 😁. Thank you again to Craig & Diane.

Great spot!
We just spent a week as a group of 10 at this lovely home. Very well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms, the house is very well appointed. Craig and Diane were available but we didn’t have any issues that needed help. The location is right in town at the base of the ski mountain- we took the shuttle and drove. It was great to go out for dinner a few times in just a short walk. Definitely recommended!

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay in a classic turn-of-the-century Victorian house, modernized.
Pretty cut-and-dried rental process.

Great location and well stocked
Very well stocked (everything you might need in the kitchen) and plenty of room for a larger group too. Diane and Craig were very quick to respond to any questions we had. Centrally located, we could walk to dinner (several options) and the grocery store. House was available on short notice!!!! The convenience of the shuttle on the weekends was a HUGE bonus!!!

Ideal home for 2 families who enjoy skiing!

Clean and well equipped.
Overall we were very pleased with this property and would rent it again. The house had everything we needed and everything functioned properly. The owners were quick to respond to questions and were thorough with all the information we needed.
If I had to pick one area to improve it would be the organization of kitchen items. The cabinets were very full of similarly sized pots and pans, making it a little challenging to pull out what we needed and then return the items to the cabinet. Not a big deal, though.
Thanks for a great weekend!

Wonderful Place to Relax!
My husband & I were looking for a quick getaway, something relaxing & quaint. This place did not disappoint at all. This house was nothing short of wonderful. Extremely clean, beautifully renovated, & accommodating to their guests! Thank you for sharing such a great place! We look forward to visiting again!

Beautiful old charm with modern conveniences
I know the house was marked not handicap accessible but the owners and management company made a study with a futon into a room my sister could use while in Vermont for our dads burial. I appreciate the extra effort put into it. We had a nice time and all. And the main king room upstairs is like a piece of heaven to fall asleep on after a busy day.

Ideal home for a familty ski adventure
My wife, three kids and I stayed here for 4 nights as part of a long weekend family ski break at Okemo in February 2018. The house is absolutely fantastic and ideal for fanily ski weekends. The kitchen is well stocked and large enough for family dining. The living room has comfy sofas and a big TV. There’s plenty of space upstairs and the bedrooms are large, clean and comfortable. The house is within walking distance of good restaurants and there’s a big supermarket accross the road.
I don’t normally do reviews but this place deserves it. I don’t want to say too much more because we want to come back next year and I don’t want it to be fully booked!! Fantastic!

Why stay in a cookie-cutter condo when you can enjoy a beautiful home?!?
This house was perfect for 6 adults, 1 kid and a dog with room to spare! It's at a great location within walking distance (even in the snow!) to various excellent options for food, supplies, gas, restaurants and pubs, and is a short few-minute drive to Okemo if you choose to skip the ski shuttle, which passes the house every few minutes all weekend. Easily accommodated 3 cars even though a 12" snow storm! The rear mudroom and adjacent full bathroom is perfect for skiers, complete with washer and dryer. The house is beautiful both from a historic and restoration point of view, has a beautiful kitchen with island, dining room, and large TV and adjacent room that make it a great house to be with guests in. The bedrooms are perfect, bathrooms are new and spotless, and the house is filled with historic charm and quality woodwork. On top of this the Cafarelli's are wonderful to deal with, and truly have done a great job updating this home.

Lovely house in a great location
The house was wonderful! Everything was newly renovated, clean and very comfortable. We traveled with a large group that really enjoyed hanging out in the living room (the couch was so comfortable) and eating in. Perfect space for a weekend getaway. Close to the supermarket, restaurants and the slopes.
