Hôtel bien placé, prix correct. Propre et calme

Près de la gare et du port. Accès à Centre ville. Personnel agréable. Bon rapport qualité prix

Ok for a night's sleep!

The hotel is close to the bus station and is ok if you are arriving late and leaving early in the morning as was our case. It is a very old building.

As I said it is very old building where doors don't close properly and the furniture is old. Not worth the price.

L'hôtel Bas de gamme ne mérite pas * *

Très bruyant dans le couloir Aucun rideau à la douche La TV HS nous avons téléphoné à la réception et sur les mobiles a 18h30 pour signaler que TV HS mais aucune réponse Aucune vue autre que cour Pas de porte manteau dans la salle de bain y a rien , chambre 2 Interrupteur loin dans le couloir et couloir très sombre Salle de bain dangereuse vue la marche Pas accessible au fauteuil roulant ni je déconseille au personne à mobilité réduite escalier raide Très defrechi extérieur intérieur Il serait bien de changer le matériel très usagé 61€ sa ne les vos pas Nous avions prévu de rester un peu plus mais n'avons passé qu'une nuit ici Je ne le recommande pas A notre arrivée personne à la réception juste une voix qui nous dit j'arrive ,cette voix et arrivé 20 minutes plus tard pour nous donner notre clé de chambre ,prochain week end a Ajaccio je détourné cette hôtel ** qui en mérite 0 Hôtel Bad de gamme .

very stressful parking situation.

It wasn't too far from the main old town- 20 minute walk

I arrived at night ( around 21:00) and it took me over 2 hours to find a place to park my car. I was worried about it because of previous posts, so I asked before I arrived and the manager told me there was free street parking. But there wasn't anything anywhere. I drove up and down every street. And even if I found a spot, it was such tight parallel parking that I don't think I would have been able to do it. I told them I just wanted to pay for parking and to give me a name or address of a paid parking lot. They texted me a name of a lot but I coulnd't find it and I found myself stranded in another paid parking lot with no information on how to exit it. There was no information on-line either.They finally gave up texting me and I was left on my own. I ended up leaving the car overnight and walking 10 minutes to the hotel with all my luggage at 23:00. It was a very stressful night. It would have been better if they gave me specific instructions on where to park and how to use the ticket system there.

Central, easy to reach, however do not recommend it for more than one night.

We chose Hotel du Palais purely as a transit accomodation and it is what we got. Well located, flexible checkin. While the accomodation was a dissapointment, the personnel was very nice and welcoming.

As already mentioned, wouldn't go there for more than 1-2 nights. It is an old building not very well maintained on the inside and hence giving it a highway hostel vibe. The room has a fake degraded ceiling, old beds with rather unconfortable mattresses and pillows. Overall clean, but difficult to feel that given the very old furniture and bathroom installations. Breakfast was unfortunately not worth the price and is very limited - only sweet breakfast. Only thing that was good was the bread. All in all, the price is not justified.

It’s a great place to stay and reasonably priced.

I liked the attitude of the staff. I arrived one day late because ferries stopped running from Sardinia. The staff allowed me to defer my stay by one day. That was super nice.

location, very convenient for the bus to the airport and easy walk into centre of town

Good budget hotel

Very central location, close to the train station. The hotel staff is very kind. The air conditioner is very useful. Has free tea and coffee at the front desk.

The room is a bit small. The wifi sometimes does not work.

A plain budget hotel that does the trick

The hotel is in a great location near a grocery store and the train station and a short walk to the tourist office and sites.

It’s a budget hotel with a very plane room. And it’s Europe so the bathroom smells a little like mold.

Location and affordable breakfast. Clean room. Easy check in even late

Awful smell of smoke that was constant and aggressive in the room even though it's a non-smoking area. Struggled to sleep with it, nothing to at least spray to hide the smell.

Efficient place!

For the price, excellent! Very Efficient system, clean, friendly, convenient!

There was a plastic sheet like hospital under the sheets. But I understand. It's part of their efficiency and cleanliness.

Bad

One lady at the reception in the morning was unfriendly and does not know English at all. Even a word. When having a shower, the ground of the toilet and bathroom is full of water and it stays there all the time. Disgusting.
