The accommodating staff and nice views from the resto.
Very weak wifi inside the cottage, not able to use TV. The distance from the wharf was a bit too much esoecially with so many roadworks happening around the island.
3.4
The staff were accommodating and gave us information about the island and transportation from the hotel to the wharf. The cottage was cosy.
The beach area is dangerous for people to swim in as it can be rough, has some sea urchins and has some rough corals, you have to swim a bit further. No hanger in the cottage, only hooks. The TV doesnt work and wifi only works well by the reception/resto areas.
3.4
Restaurant is barely open with very few guests staying
The location is inaccurate on Booking.com, the resort very far away in fact, and on the opposite side of the island where there are no shops, restaurants or cafes. Very misleading for potential guests booking this resort.
3.4
Closer.
Looks clean But so many trashes at the back of
The property. Metal scraps, wood, and construction leftovers of materials piled anywhere at the back of the units. Good breeding ground for mosquitoes and snakes.
3.4
Beautiful location on the beach great for snorkeling .
Plastic waste everywhere on the beach.
3.4
Location if very far but the water is so clear compared to other beaches in Samal Island. It is not a white beach but it is very clean compared to a normal beach now a days. There were not much guest when we book so the resort was somehow exclusive to us. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
It is very difficult to find the resort. Here Maps points you on a different location. Facilities are a bit out dated. But the have a new building so it should be good
3.4
the staff was amazing
power outage every night
3.4
more private, quite place
since the island has challenge of electricity, the hotel must have backup generator.
3.4
Everything including snorkeling the soft coral reef out front. The ocean views from the deck. Privacy of our cottage was great.
Its far away from town but was really no problem to drive
3.4
Friendly and nice beach view
the location base on google map not matched
3.4
When I got there I told them I will only staying for three nights they say ok booking.com will reaburse me with the rest of the money I hope you will give me the money back as I booked with you for the rest of the time
3.4
Approachable and accommodating staffs. Relaxing place and view.
3.4
the location is quiet not crowded
behind our room is filthy dirty plenty of trush it cause a lot if mosquitoes and ants.
3.4
Staff were friendly food ok.
Was a bit isolated, had to be relocated several times due to air con and electrical problems. Wasn't too keen on the tarantula in our room though.
3.4
The kubo was gorgeous and comfortable. It seems small from the outside, but w the high roof and light-coloured interior, it’s actually big. The wifi is good. Staff are kind and accomodating.
Since I am a solo traveller, it was a bit more difficult. The room price is for 3 people, the food are portions for families. I spend a lot more money therefore, and there is no sari-sari nearby.
3.4
Very nice place nice beach and sea
3.4
It needs to offer things to do or transport to swimming beaches and shopping areas
3.4
We was a family with 3 kids. Memories for life. Great family place
You can cook your own food and pay for use of gas
Undercover area overlooking the sea perfect when it rain
Be prepared to be far of everything and enjoye.
Get cash with you. They don’t take card
Food is basic and ok
Transportation is expensive on the island. Tricycle charge 150piso each from ferry to resort 800 piso. In Davao it would be 100 piso by ride
Enjoy and go

just on the. rocky beach
the distance. 700 pesos. each. way. from. wharf. no. hot. showers. No television no internet. food. not. much. to choose. and. the. price of a five. star. Four. dogs. in the. dining area. full of. flees and. scratching. had to ask to. move. them. asked. for. serviettes. and. we were. given. half. toilet. roll.

The staffs are nice, and accomodating.
Advertisement is misleading. Google map showed that the area is near the town center but that is far from the truth. Accomodation is located at the other side of the island and no nearby stores. The Photos shown are far from what is to be expected. There is NO white sand, and meals are overpriced. Expect to wait hours long for meals to be served. If you want peace, this place is for you.But I will not recommend.

The staff of the resort was very kind and approachable, especially Ms. Joan. The food was awesome and delicious too! Place was clean and comfy. Perfect for relaxation and escaping reality.
3.4
Beautiful place to do snorkelling.
Nice place to really have a good rest.
And a nice kuya to climb into the coconut tree to get us buko.
The outdated sanitary in the cottages.
3.4
If you are looking for a place to refresh, reset or getaway from the city life, this place is recommended. The staff is accommodating and hospitable. The waters are so clean and clear you can see the corals and fishes few meters from the shore. Recommended for snorkeling.
It's quite far since it is located at the opposite side of the island. Suggested to the caretaker to provided a road map on their Facebook page to guide the guests. We got lost on the way.
3.4
the beach was dirty with logs/sticks and trash
no attempt by staff to clean. no white sand. should be
called Rock beach!
