About this house rental
WELCOME BACK! We are looking forward to having you stay at our FULLY remodeled home on Sanibel Island. This home has been completely remodeled from top to bottom, even including the beautiful screened in pool area with a brand new paver decking! Although we were all sad about the Hurricane, our home is now more beautiful then ever! We can't wait to have you back on the Island enjoying our newly renovated home with modern finishes!
This lovely 3 bedroom, 2 full bath home in The Dunes of Sanibel backs up to peaceful conservation land, has tropical palm trees surrounding the pool, is located in a beautiful golf-course community, and is just a short bike ride to the bayside beach. Does it get much better than that?? Rainy day? No worries, the open great room with eat-in kitchen island has plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Break out a board game, or watch a movie on the big screen. Pass the coleslaw and wine coolers through the kitchen window to the outdoor sitting area while the chicken barbecues on the grill. Pocketing sliding glass doors in the kitchen and dining room allow you to extend the living space outside. The master suite is on the left side of the home, separate from the guest living spaces on the right. White louvered shutters let natural Sanibel sunlight fill the Master Suite and guest bedrooms. The home's laundry room and 2-car garage has plenty of space for storing golf clubs, bikes, and beach gear. Getting on and off island is a breeze, as the property is just a short drive from Bailey Road on the East end of the island.

Had a wonderful stay. The house was very nicely decorated, clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for a great vacation from a well equipped kitchen to bikes, beach chairs and towels. The pool was very relaxing and peaceful surrounded by palm trees and a beautiful tropical setting. The house felt very private while being located in a great community and near many shops and restaurants in Sanibel. Definitely will be going back!

My family, mom, dad and two adult children spent two weeks in this beautiful home.
First I will say when we drive to the Florida panhandle I always carry my kitchen favorites, knives, my big pasta pot, blender, because we love to cook. Flying to Sanibel I didn’t have room so I was a little nervous about how well stocked the kitchen would be. I was not disappointed. The house is well stocked with everything you need. We did eat out some and loved the recommendations that Megan gave us.
We loved having the pool and as other reviews state it feels like you are in your own private oasis! We were shocked to drive by the house next door to see people there because we never heard anything. Megan has plenty of beach towels so no need to pack those. We also enjoyed using the beach umbrella.
Megan was quick to answer any questions we had. We all four said we highly recommend this property!

Excellent vacation home in a very convenient location. We have stayed in many vacation homes over the years in the US and the Caribbean. This one definitely made our top 5. It has a great layout for 2 couples (with room for others if needed). The inside is well furnished and comfortable. But the real gem is the screened in deck and pool area. We spent the vast majority of our time in the house there. The kitchen is also well stocked with all the necessities. The home is in a great and convenient location and is very private. During the day and at night when you are in the pool area it feels like you in your own private resort.
On top of all the that the owner(s) are very responsive to any questions or issues that may arise. I would highly recommend this property and would go back in an instant!

Great ground floor home! Very clean, all new paint, furniture and appliances. Beautiful beach decor throughout the home. The kitchen is well stocked, restaurants and Sanibel shopping nearby. Especially enjoyed sitting at the pool in the eve and looking at the nature preserve - so relaxing!

My family was unable to spend our Thanksgiving holiday in Sanibel in my condo because it is under reconstruction after Ian. This beautiful home with salt water pool knocked it out of the park in accommodating us. Wonderful space and layout- inside and out, well equipped kitchen, and within comfortable bike distance to all our major favorite spots.

We enjoyed staying in a ranch, with no stairs to climb. We had scattered showers almost every day of our trip, and it was nice having the attached garage.
We had our grandkids stop by one afternoon, and it was nice to be able to use the pool, and pool toys. A nice place for a family to stay.

3 generations trip
This one-level home made it very easy for all generations to access the house and the pool. The neighborhood was quiet. The vegetation around the house made the pool and patio feel very private and secluded. Megan was very quick to respond to our questions. We would definitely stay at this property again.

When the house IS the vacation!
If I owned this property, I would live there year round, so what a blessing it is that Megan makes this paradise available. For two weeks we got to live right there on the island with a private pool in a quiet immaculate neighborhood with easy access to everything that makes Sanibel great. Bliss!

Private and Peaceful
The property was as described. We welcomed the privacy and quiet of the house and its surroundings. The interior of the house is very attractively furnished and the patio as well. We found eating outside by the screened pool was a treat; in fact we were outside more than in. Megan responded quickly to any questions we had.

Absolutely Perfect Vacation
We loved this vacation rental. The screened lanai and pool area was very private. We enjoyed swimming every night the water was the perfect temperature. The house was clean and equipped with everything we needed.The lanai was wonderful for outdoor dining, morning coffee and bird watching! Location worked perfect! We could bike to three beaches. The Dunes development is right off the causeway. Megan quickly answered any questions for us. Would stay there again and again! Thank you!

Owner is terrible to deal with
Quite awful. My suggestion: so many other places to stay on Sanibel. Spiders covered the entry door. Spiders covered the pool enclosure. Owner accused us of taking (well-worn and tired) towels upon departure. Don't go here.

Wonderful get away
The location of this house near beaches, nature paths and restaurants was perfect for us. The house was well equipped for everything we needed inside and at the beach. The heated pool was a big plus. The owners were immediately responsive to any of our needs. We are already planning our return for next year. Can't wait!

Our Happy Place....Paradise
We love it so much here that it was our second visit within a few months. This home has everything you need for a wonderful vacation and the location is just five minutes to one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. We spent our days walking, bike riding, floating in the fabulous calm Gulf Waters , collecting shells at the beach, and then unwinding in the beautiful swimming pool. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather the entire time in September and October and enjoyed every meal by the pool. It was especially nice of Megan to allow us a late check-out since our early morning flight was cancelled and not rescheduled until evening.

We stayed here at the end of August and had a great time. They have everything you need for a relaxing stay. We really appreciated the outside lights and fans in the screened in porch. It was very quiet and relaxing.

Great home in quiet neighborhood
We really enjoyed our stay! The backyard is a jungle and very private. I did not understand how important the "cage" was in the backyard until I stepped out of it to check out a coconut- impressively sized mosquitos! The pool was wonderful and the owners quick to respond when there was an issue. The house is well stocked and accommodating. The island was larger than we anticipated but we really enjoyed the bike baths and even riding them to the beach. It really was a great home, convenient location and worth it!

Beautiful Sanibel Home!
If I could give this home more than 5 stars I would. Immaculately clean. So well furnished and equipped there wasn't one item missing. It was just my husband and myself but a family of 6 would be fine with the 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The screened in pool was so welcome after several hours at the beach. Megan was spot on in her recommendations about restaurants and beaches. The garage was great and provided our access to the home using the garage door code. So glad we chose this listing and definitely will come back! I could go on and on about this wonderful home. A delight!

Spacious and in a great area
Just two of us stayed in the home which easily accommodates 6. Very spacious kitchen for meals and the lanai was nicely appointed. We did need to hose down the pool deck when we arrived. Bathrooms were clean and in good condition. We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful beach house on Sanibel
The location of this home was perfect. Close to causeway and central for restaurants. This home had everything we could have needed for our stay which made preparing meals so easy for days we ate in. We loved the heated pool and the use of 2 bikes!

Paradise on Sanibel
This house was absolutely a dream. It was spotless when we arrived.
My favorite part was the pool area. I spent a good bit of my vacation
swimming and enjoying the beautiful tropical view in the backyard.

Just bring yourselves!
This place has it all! What a beautiful house full of everything you need to enjoy yourself poolside or beach-side. We stayed a week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
The house itself is beautiful, perfectly situated on the island, close to everything (beaches, restaurants, shops, grocery). The pool is incredible- pictures don't do the surroundings justice. Mature palms surround the house, making it feel secluded.
Can't recommend this place enough- we will be back in the future!

We really enjoyed this home and pool! Everything was as described and the backyard is a private beautiful oasis! Neighborhood is quiet and house had everything we needed for meal prep, cocktails on patio and several beach visits! Loved the screen on sink in laundry room for washing seashells. Great location - hope we can return again next year!

Perfect, just Perfect!
We loved it! Everything was accurately described and the house felt like home. The open layout made the home feel much larger with the kitchen having such easy access to the fantastic pool. The kitchen was well appointed and plenty of serving dishes, one point after each guest all spice is removed (this is not a negative just a need to know). The neighborhood is extremely quiet and peaceful and very nice to ride your bike. Master bedroom is a nice size and peaceful opening out to the pool and lanai. The pool/lanai was perfect, we enjoyed it all day. This will be a home we will return to in the future. Thank you for sharing!

A lovely Sanibel oasis
This is a lovely home tucked into a quiet neighborhood with easy access to everything. The home has a split floor plan, ensuring privacy for all. There were just two of us except for family weekends, and it worked for all. It is well equipped with plenty of beach towels, chairs, etc. The lovely pool is heated and has great privacy. There is also a very nice gas grill.
Megan could not have been a better host- accessible, helpful and responsive.

Relaxing by the pool
The house was clean and tidy when we arrived and perfect for our family of four plus one other adult. We took advantage of the pool daily and the boys loved it! Between the well-appointed kitchen and the large gas grill just outside the garage side door, we had everything we needed for fixing meals (and there was plenty of open storage space in the cabinets and fridge for everything we picked up at Jerry’s.) There was ample seating for all at the dinner table, around the entertainment center, and outside by the pool. Could not have asked for a better home away from home for our holiday vacation! Will definitely look to stay here again on our next visit to Sanibel!
