Jennifer's cottage is truly a Sea Glass Beach Retreat.
It was so comfortable inside the cottage and outside the oceanfront views are awesome--Picture perfect sunsets, sailboats sailing out to the Atlantic, lobster boats checking their traps, and sealife greeting us daily -- seals and loons were a delight.

We go to Pemaquid every year, and this was the best spot I have had. Right on the water it was fabulous to be able to stay here and Jennifer is a wonderful host. Highly recommend.

Loved the location on Pemaquid point. Nice to have a bonfire on the shore and the weather cleared for a beautiful sunset on our last night. Jenifer was always responsive to our questions and needs. Don’t miss the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. Beautiful views and interesting museum.

The location and view was beautiful. The house was cute and met most of our needs. Only complaint was the grill, but we notified the owner so hopefully that can be improved for future guests.

This property provided everything you need for the perfect Maine family vacation. Perfect location on the water in a very quiet neighborhood. Lovely simply stated home with everything you need to meet ones needs on the Maine coast. Easy access to Pemaquid light and beach. New Harbor is a picturesque harbor town that provides a grocery store with all your needs, lobster co-op, ice cream stand and the art co-op with many treasures made by the hands of local artisans. I have been coming to Maine for 50 years and stayed up and down the entire coast. I have found my new favorite place to stay and look forward to my return.

Beautiful Cottage
My family could not have been any happier on our 3 night stay here. We enjoyed the beautiful ocean views and walks along the beach. The cottage has everything we could have asked for (and more). This is our favorite area to visit along the Maine coast and can't wait to return for an even longer stay next year. It's located just an hour from where my family lives, but it's a different world!

Excellent location
The location is excellent, private beach, many wild life preserves for hiking within a 20 minute drive. The cottage is cozy, albeit a bit outdated. The bed is a full size bed, not a queen and is on the firm side, if you like that. All in all, the location is what makes this place excellent, which is really why we come to Maine. Jennifer was very easy to work with and we appreciate the history behind this special place.

Awesome views! Loved sitting in the Adirondack chairs watching the boats and the waves. And on the clear nights, more stars than I've ever seen before. Great local hikes, delicious lobster and friendly people. It was a great week

Great place
Communication with Jennifer was very easy and she was very accommodating. The location is amazing, we enjoyed the garden a lot, especially the fire pit during sunset.
The house is good and as described. The porch, converted into a room, is great to read while looking out to the sea. My only suggestion would be to get a bigger bed in the main bedroom.
There are nice places to eat nearby and well stocked grocery store as well.
Overall, great place to stay!!

This is a peaceful, small cottage that provided the relaxing atmosphere we were looking for. Each morning we were greeted by the sounds of the lobster fishermen working offshore and each evening we were treated to a spectacular display of the milky way and constellations. The view from the cottage is spectacular and mesmerizing. The furniture in the cottage is comfortable to lounge on, and the cable/internet service was very good, allowing us to easily map out our adventures with online resources. Our complaints are small: (1) The old drip coffee maker did not work so we wound up using it like a Chemex coffee maker, boiling water and manually pouring the water over the grounds (N.B. a Keurig coffee maker is also supplied), (2) the power cord to the Kirby vacuum cleaner has a couple of worn spots that expose the power wires that delivered quite an unwelcome jolt when the cord was handled in the wrong place (we bought some electrical tape to cover the worn spots so we could use it worry-free and so the next guests do not have the same shocking experience).

Great location
The location of the cottage is great. It is less than a mile from Pemaquid Point beach. The beach is fairly small and was pretty quiet even when we visited it on hot days. The views from the backyard were very pretty especially at sunset.

What a lovely peaceful place. Convenient to shopping and lots of great dining experiences.
Jennifer left a wonderful guide of the local eateries, "must see" locations and local shopping. We agree. The Cupboard is fantastic and the Craft Co-OP was filled with great locally produced items. It is a great place to buy some of your souvenirs.
We enjoyed sitting on the Adirondacks with our coffee in the morning weather permitting. If the weather is foul, the view from the dining table is equally stunning. The shore is lovely and a good place for an energetic hike if you're fit for climbing on the rocks or staying close to home and collecting the sea glass.
The cottage is comfortable and cozy. On this trip to Maine we just wanted to have a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the sea air and the sea food. We did.
Jennifer was an excellent host. She was quick to answer all our inquiries. The cottage was well stocked with all the dishes and utensils we could need. Including a nice big pot for cooking lobster you may pick up at the Co-OP in Round pond. The information left at the cottage was interesting and very helpful.
This is a cute little cottage. The only down side, which was very minor for us, was a slight mustiness from the carpets in this humid environment. If you are prone to allergies it may be a concern. Once the house was open and aired out for a couple days the mustiness dissipated.
Thank you again Jennifer for allowing us to enjoy your lovely cottage.

Seaglass serenity
Lovely spot, familiar with the area, loved the lawn and beach- great for the small ones! Everything we needed was there- well thought out amenities, good resource book. New Harbor and the area is still a bit closed at this time of year, but we were celebrating specific dates and know what to expect before the Fourth of July! Many Thanks

Wonderful and peaceful
Perfect getaway to explore the area with trails for walking, restaurants to try, scenic views galore. Most of our time was sitting out front watching the water, exploring the rocks out front. Jennifer was wonderful. Due to weather and power outages due to storm she allowed us to make up lost time. Camp is comfortable, Wifi and Cable a bonus.

Excellent place to stay
The house has a wonderful feel like home vibe as soon as you walk in.The view from the backyard is great. The sound of the waves is very soothing and the location is great.Just up the road and to the right is a small grocery store with fresh baked goods and everything else you might need for your stay. The house was very clean when we arrived and the people walking and biking on the quiet paved street that it is on are friendly and fun to talk to.Using a charcoal grill was also fun.I would highly recommend staying there. Wonderful
We stayed at the Seaglass Beach house for the weekend and had a wonderful time. I stayed with a friend and our four children. We slept comfortably. Our two girls loved sleeping out on the porch and having the sound of the waves put them to sleep. The kids loved waking up in the morning and walking right out to the tide pools, where we saw crabs and snails and we were pleasantly surprised to see a seal on the rocks one morning. We watched many different kinds of seabirds ( the binoculars in the house were a great help). We loved watching the lobster boats come and check their traps while eating breakfast. One day we took the short walk down to the sandy beach where the kids splashed in the water and built sandcastles. We took the short drive to have excellent fresh seafood from Shaws Wharf one night and we ate out on the deck. We also took a Hardy boat cruise from the wharf another day to visit Monhegan Island. It was our second time visiting the island and we can't wait to go again. We did a great hike, saw lots of birds, and ended our hike at the Island Brewery. On our ride to the island we also had a whale sighting and a puffin sighting. Another short ride to Pemequid Lighthouse is well worth the views. I recommend a relaxing weekend at this Oceanfront house!

Perfectly fantastic
Everything was perfect, the only thing I wish is that I had longer to stay. The house is absolutely charming! From the minute I walked through the door, I felt so comfortable; everywhere I looked there were so many personal touches that said “home”! I walked out on the beach every day, and every day I found some sea glass. Your home lived up to its name! Each day I came in the pockets full of treasures from your beach. Falling asleep to the sound of the surf was purely perfect! The house is well equipped; everything I needed was there; it was the most restful and relaxing vacation I have had in years!
I have some of the greatest sunset pictures I have ever taken; the sunsets from your beach are stunning! It is indeed a most restful and magical place.

A cozy home away from home with a great beach area
"We loved our stay at Sea Glass Beach Retreat. It was such a relaxing and fun vacation for our family. The cottage was so cute and homey and we spent hours finding treasures of sea glass on the beach. The kayaking was great too. Thank you for sharing your home with us this week."

A working time-out!
Although we went to the cottage to help prepare it for guests; we had a wonderful and peaceful time near the ocean! We had our daughter-in-law and grandchildren with us and the children had a great time looking for sea glass with their cousins. To be able to sit and watch the sunset is so quiet and peaceful, that we look forward to going there again next summer! Being there seems to melt the pressures of everyday life!

Comfy and Cozy
Our stay at the cottage was multipurpose - my husband was doing a few touch ups to the cottage but we were a;so able to enjoy the cottage and the beautiful area that is known as New Harbor, Maine. The cottage had all of the comforts of home which allowed us to have a wonderful time while there. We love exploring the surrounding area and all it has to offer.

Stay at Sea Glass
Growing up in New England, I am drawn to the coast. I have visited this location many times over the years and never get tired of it. I generally sleep in the enclosed porch so I can hear the subtle lapping of the waves in the bay. I generally scour the shore for treasures before I go out to Pemaquid lighthouse, a short 15 minutes away. The interior is cozy, and the large window in the kitchen gives a great view of the bay.
I'll be back!!!
