Every summer we meet our daughter and her family along with our son and his family in an interesting, exciting and entertaining location We were not disappointed with our stay on Stratton. The 2nd floor bunkhouse was perfect for our 4 grandchildren and the 3 bedrooms plus the Yurt was great and comfortable. Location was very convenient to our intended destinations. Our host was very responsive to our few questions. If you intend to visit Colorado Springs this would be a great place to stay.

Stayed here with family to attend son’s graduation. Enchanting property next to a small creek. Everything was as shown in photos. Pleasurable stay. Owner was very responsive to our needs to modify our stay unexpectedly. Couldn’t be happier with choosing this property.

This home FAR exceeds the listing and Caren was fabulous to work with. We were there for a wedding at the Broadmoor and we couldn’t have picked a better home to stay in. Everyone in our group loved it! We can’t recommend it enough and would definitely stay there again

This house is perfectly located in Colorado Springs for any activity you could want. Seven falls is no more than 10 minutes away and the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is even closer. We had a great stay at the house for the weekend for a family reunion that was held at the Broadmoor, which, like everything else, was only a short walk from the house. Caren was a great host and I highly recommend this property.

It exceeded our expectations in all ways. Would have liked more washcloths and hand towels but otherwise loved every second and hated to see it end. Thank you for such a superb home!!!

All the requirements for a family get-together for relaxing and to enjoy great attractions.

This house was amazing. Beautifully decorated and had all the amenities you could ever need. Caren was super easy to work with. Very responsive and accommodating. The beds were extremely comfortable and it was nice to have starter amenities for our stay (trash bags, soaps, spices, toilet paper, paper towels, etc)! We would love to return to this property. Oh...and we loved how close it was to the Broadmoor and the coffee shop, Sacred Ground!

We enjoyed our 50th wedding anniversary with our kids and grandkids at this beautiful home. The location is close to so many fun activities. Carin was so pleasant and helpful. The grandkids chose staying home to play by the stream over a site-seeing adventure one afternoon. They loved seeing the deer in the yard as they played. Our group of ten (8-71 years of age) had various places to hang out in the house which accommodated gatherings as well as privacy. We all agreed this was a perfect house for our family vacation!!!

This house served our needs well. The house itself was large and had several areas where you could go for quiet/private time. The setting is amazing: large, private, and beautiful! The bedrooms were great, although the lower one was too hot for the couple that started out in there. When they opened windows, the screens were ripped at the bottom and let in bugs. It wasn't an issue for us because they moved to the bunk room. Lots of nice things in the house that often aren't supplied. Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful home located near all of the Colorado Springs attractions. This was by far the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. The home is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The owner is very responsive. We would highly recommend this home.

Lovely home! The kitchen was well-appointed, and the place was as pictured. I especially appreciated the quality and quantity of dishes and cookware, as well as the bathroom towels and outside towels. The beds were comfortable, and having two fireplaces to go with the unseasonably chilly and wet weather we had was nice.
I thought the sound of the creek was pleasant, and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Owner was very attentive and responsive, but we really didn't need anything because everything was already great.

Came to CoSpgs for a wedding at the Broadmoor, but the BEST part of my visit was staying at this VRBO. We had 5 adults from 26-92. Clean, comfortable, close to trails, grocery store, and restaurants. The home is a dream setting with a creek along the side, great fireplace in back with comfy seating all around. Enjoyed sitting around the roaring fire with the water running through the creek as an accompaniment. Lovely! Better than I anticipated!

We stayed over the week of USAFA graduation and it was a perfect retreat for our family from the craziness of all the graduation activities. We really appreciated the long table off the kitchen which was able to seat all 8 of us, plus three other guests for dinner who weren’t staying there with us. The beds were especially comfortable! The outdoor space in the backyard is really great and the host was very friendly and communicative throughout our stay!

Fantastic stay at this beautiful and unique property. A group of colleagues stayed for a conference at the Broadmoor and I appreciated how isolated the bedrooms felt from each other, allowing for more privacy than expected. Would definitely stay again!

Over all a great place to stay while attending a work event at the Broadmoor. Well equipped kitchen for preparing meals, comfortable sleeping arrangements and the hot tub is a plus. Deer in the neighborhood greeted us each morning!

This cottage was EVERYTHING to my family 💗 COVID and life-circumstances had kept us apart for the last 2.5 years. This year, we decided that a weekend away in the mountains was exactly what we needed to center ourselves and our relationships 😍. Caren’s house is amazing! There was plenty of room for our family of 11 (6 adults & 5 kids) even without the yurt which was not accessible due to the cold. We had deer in the yard every single day. We got to experience a Colorado snowfall and New Years with the family was everything i could’ve dreamed of. Beds are comfy and the showers are near-perfection.
We had groceries delivered from both Walmart and Safeway without incidence.
The kitchen is well stocked.
If i could make a specific recommendation about “Things to do” in Colorado Springs….PLEASE check out the Beginners Falconry Experience at the Broadmoor!!! It’s expensive but SO worth it for kids/adults who are into birds and nature! Truly an experience we will never forget!
Seriously cannot wait to return to this little piece of heaven!

We came with our young kids, my parents and a sitter. The kids loved the rock room and the upstairs area where they could play/watch tv/sleep. We enjoyed the sitting area next to the creek and seeing the occasional deer walk through the yard. Caren was very accommodating and great with communicating with us before and during our trip. It’s 2 miles from the Broadmoor so the location is perfect for going back and forth. We would love to come back every year!

10 of us stayed in this wonderful property, ages ranged from 14 to 75! Three couples and four teenagers. It’s close to all the sites and perfectly lovely. Caren was the best and checked in with us regularly. Available, but not intrusive. The yurt (TB Hut) was a nice addition too. My 18 year old son enjoyed staying in it. If we visit again we’d definitely stay again. Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed!

We stayed at this property with two families that included kids ages 10-16. This house is conveniently located near grocery stores and nearby attractions (Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, etc.) This was one of the most unique properties we have stayed at through VRBO with the rock built into the sunroom and the yurt in the backyard! We used games provided, bean bags, and the kids enjoyed exploring in the creek nearby. This was an excellent find!

Rockin' New Years
This property was perfect for both the comfort of staying in for a cozy NYE as well as the opportunity to be close to much of the action in Colorado Springs (Garden of the Gods, Pike's Peak, etc). The house was exactly as listed with plenty of space. Our group enjoyed the hot tub, the well stocked kitchen, and luxurious linens that made this quite the enjoyable stay. Caren was a very communicative host and checked in on us throughout the stay which I very much appreciated.

Lovely Cheyenne Mt. Escape
We loved this cozy, yet spacious and clean property. It was exactly as described. Plenty of space to play inside and out. We utilized the kitchen every day and we’re appreciative of the variety of pots and pans, utensils and other cooking tools at our disposal. The yard was delightful and large, and being creek side was a great added bonus. We were super close to the zoo, the Broadmoor, hiking trails and Stratton open space, all of which were great for our getting our toddler out and about! Would not hesitate to rent this property again!

Wonderful Retreat
The property was just as it was advertised. The pictures were awesome but the property was even better. Seeing 4 deer right out your door was a great experience, the grandkids just loved it. The grandkids had a great time playing hide and seek. The loft area was a perfect place for the kids to play. Lots of space!!

Perfect Mountain Getaway!
The house was perfect for the 8 of us. Nestled right next to a moving river/stream, the sounds were very relaxing. Deer would be in the backyard and made it fun for the kids to watch for. The house was no further than a 15 minute drive to all the activities we did, and we did all Colorado Springs had to offer in 4 days. I highly recommend this house, it has everything you need and more.

Perfect Basecamp for Our Adventures
Creekside was the perfect retreat for our three families. There was ample space to spend time together or, equally, to have personal space. Three kids slept in the twin bed quartet and loved having the upstairs to themselves. Two of the couples had 1-2 infants sleeping in their rooms, which were spacious enough to accommodate a playpen. We all slept wonderfully in the comfortable beds.
We cooked almost every meal in the kitchen and appreciated the stock of spices, oils and ample space. We loved the windows throughout the kitchen and dining room, and were treated to a daily parade of a family of deer.
Although we were not able to use the outdoor fireplace, the hot tub was welcome relaxation after long hikes. We stayed very busy during our week, visiting Garden of the Gods multiple times, Red Rock Canyon, Pike’s Peak, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, the zoo and more. The house was centrally located so most of what we did was within 20 minutes’ drive and hikes in Mt. Cheyenne were practically within walking distance.
Caren was a thoughtful host as well, regularly checking in. The baby items and toys were much appreciated!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would love to return someday!

This home was well appointed with a lot of character and a lot of space for 9 women. Easy check in and check out. Wonderful communication with the owner. She really wanted our stay to be perfect. And it was! For all of us! Roomy, great grounds with a spot to get away or to gather outside by the fireplace and hot tub. The Yurt Hut was so cool and roomy. Loved it!
